Avoid this place at all cost. I had a transmission issue and they made me seem very well taken care of so I trusted leaving my car there. I was told 7-10 days max but they took 3 weeks. They would say they would call me to update on anything and not once did I hear a thing from them, I had to reach out to them multiple times every single day and even was avoided being answered many of them. I finally headed back to Texas since they told me the car was good to go but as soon as I got to here I had a light turn on and when I took it to get checked out at another AAMCO they told me that my axle seals were missing, it wasn’t sealed properly, and it was leaking after being told it was perfect again for a 7hr drive. Now that I am trying to contact them to fix the issue and go on about the warranty they are not answering my calls and avoiding me. Very unprofessional. But as soon as I had a male friend call them they answered and switched their tone real quick and said they’d get back to me yet still haven’t. Do yourself a favor and never visit this location. Terrible service and didn’t even charge me the price we agreed on or the warranty that was said in the beginning, now I am $3500 short and still have a non-functioning vehicle.

Aramco had my car three days trying to diagnose the problem with my transmission. Ended up nothing was wrong with the transmission but I later found out that and oxygen sensor was bad causing the miss that felt like the transmission slipping. They were very accommodating. Will go back if necessary.

I called them and told them all about my vehicle and they gave me estimate over phone I took my vehicle there to confirm my problem and was exactly what we thought it was per our conversation on phone 2 days later they increased there estimate by 2300.00 dollars so I went to get my vehicle was setting on lot next door unlocked I had over 1000.00 dollars in valuables inside I went in my key laying on counter with no one around I picked up key off counter and drove my vehicle off there lot without being questioned by any of there employees I called management and they where unconcerned and said he had an important call coming in unbelievableI responded to owners email he left on his response to my review even left my phone number but unfortunately his response was no more than for show because he hasnt responded directly to me by phone nor by email this place is a joke when it come to dealing with real issues

Came by to get my right passenger window replaced with an electrical issue to address as well. I was told two days and sure enough it was done in time! All lights works window is secure and prompt service. I couldnt ask for more from the shop! THANKS AAMACO!

We brought or truck in to get the catalytic converters replaced. Not only did the part come in over night, but they also fixed some melted wiring for the o2 sensors...they were above and beyond and were very friendly. Ill definitely travel the 8 hours to come back!! Unfortunately Im horrible with names lol so I dont remember the guy who worked on the truck but the office guy was manny!! Definitely recremend aamco on s woodlawn for sure

My family was traveling from MN to TX and we had transmission issues that ended up being more than we bargained for. Other places I called wouldn’t even look at my vehicle for almost two weeks, but Cristal heard us out on our situation and helped us! I can’t imagine where we would be at without the help of this AAMCO location. There are so many more praises that I could give these people but it wouldn’t be enough. Took my 95 Integra to Manny and the guys. They topped off my transmission fluid and performed a tune up. The price seemed high on the tune up, but Manny explained to me that they also include a BG Air Induction service and the benefits. My car seems to have more getty up than it ever has. So this place was recommended to us by triple A. We went a few times to get the Ford truck fixed and the Chevy equinox. A few months ago in winter, I had them check and fix the air conditioner and they assured me that it would operate correctly and that was over $500. Now to get the air conditioner fixed again and on an automobile that is 15 years old, they charged me a whopping $701 !!! The previous managers which were good and dedicated to winning the customer are all gone. These people will rob you blind!!! UNHAPPY !!!!!

So I had Never used Aamcos business before but Im glad I did. My engine died on me I found a new engine and purchased it I have never had to buy 1 before so I didnt know that when you take it to must shops they dont like to put in used engines because sometimes something can go wrong with them. So im looking around and every is trying to over charge me at other shops. So I end up calling Aamco and they Explain the same as the other shops we normally get the engine our selves he said but im going to go ahead and do this for you he said to me and guys they did great work putting me engine in ive had no problems also it was like 5 to 600$ cheaper then the other shops i had called so 5 🌟s from me. Thanks guys.

When my sons truck broke down on the highway when he was moving. He was on his way to Texas and had his 2 boys with him. We called AAMCO to see if they could fixed that day. They took in his truck right away and got it fixed after they got the parts in. I would highly recommend this place to take care of your repair needs.

Tim is just fantastic and can be trusted. His number one priority when I brought in my PT cruiser for a whole mess of work was the safety of my family. He was the second person that I took the car to and he was very polite and upfront. He advised me on a number of options in which one was to let the car go. He did not try to sell me anything that I didnt need. Well he fixed my car and after calling around I know I got the best price. What was most impressive he called and asked if he could take my car on a long drive on the high way to make sure it was safe for my family. He stated that he would rather the car break down on him then it break down on me when I have my 3 young boys in the car. Well the car ran great. Great customer service, great service on the car and no BS. He is not out to make a buck on you and gave me options that didnt lead to him making more money. I trust him and will never take my car anywhere else. I have never had a more positive experience and man this car has caused me some heartache. I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel dually. Had transmission rebuilt 4 months earlier at an AAMCO back east. Had problems on the way home and took it in to be looked at. They ended up rebuilding transmission again with heavier duty parts. Warranty covered the work done previously. Had truck back in a couple of days to be in Texas for work. Would highly recommend for any work on a vehicle. Very nice and friendly and know what theyre doing.

Had a really great experience getting my transmission rebuilt and my Silverado fixed! They were honest and to the point with everything bad on my truck and gave me really good estimates! Not only that Tim kept me updated but also willing to stay late after hours to get my truck out on time, which was greatly appreciated! Amazing shop, great guys and the work is flawless!

After speaking with Tim and his mechanic I decided to have my transmission rebuilt. Even though it is a pretty big job, my jeep was done in one day and at a reasonable price. I started going to AAMCO about a year ago when my Transmission started acting up. I first dealt with Will. He was awesome. He actually argued with my bumper to bumper warranty company and made them give me a brand new transmission vs a used one that would cause issues shortly after. They got me my new transmission done in about a week. Had some issues with seals not sealing after putting it in, fixed that issue in a few days. Was good to go. He didnt have to argue with the company. They werent gaining anything out of it. But he did and thats awesome to me.This past week I took both my cars in for some maintenance. Dealt with Shelby. She was very friendly and helpful. I took my Galant in on Monday, had it back Wednesday. Dropped off my Mustang on Wednesday, got it back Thursday. They did an awesome job. I really like how theyre honest and dont try to upsell anything. If you dont need something done or you can hold off on it, theyll tell you. I will continue to come back there and recommend people as I have been for the past year!

I Limped into Aamco, because that was where I had the Transmission done in Clearwater,Florida. I have a 1992 Ford E350. It started acting up as I was nearing Wichita, KS. Tim and the guys that work here are the BEST ever. So nice, tyres getting the part for my Coach, but still had to order it. I cant tell you how nice and professional they all were. They even bought my Lunch one day and the last day as I was waiting for my Coach, James one of the mechanics made these tamales and fed me again. if ever I come back through Wichita, I know I can come by to say Hi..They have become friends.
