I was harassed by the employee working the counter about wearing a mask. Its understandable if I was the only customer. However, there were several customers in the store without one or not wearing one properly. If it was required, then the sign should clearly say so on the door. I shouldnt have to go back and forth with an employee about mask enforcement. I have no problem wearing one. Ill just go spend money elsewhere.

Horrible with people. The store is clean tho. EVERYTIME I go in here I feel rushed and not wanted. It’s fine tho cause there’s a Walmart closeby I can gladly throw my money at on video games instead.

Its a good size for a GameStop. Had a nice layout and plenty of good games. Didnt feel claustrophobic in this one.

As a casual gamer with a husband who wants all the new games, I love this store. Hal is very helpful when it comes to finding the right game for the right price. He helped me figure out the best options for a birthday present for my hubs and was educational about the add ins and extra stuff you can buy with out hard selling and I appreciate that. Will come again!

Overpriced and screwed me out of a game by telling my parents all the bad things and nothing good. They lost a customer for the worst reason. Just by your game online or just go somewhere else.

We love the Union, NJ GameStop when were up that way. Excellent from hello to goodbye, and everything in between. Every time I go into the location its organized and very clean. The staff is well trained and friendly and the manager ... I think his name is Hal, is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this location to all my friends and gamers. Live long and prosper

Great customer service. Stop in to pick up a present for my nephew while visiting the area and, who I believe was the store manager, went out of his way to suggest the appropriate game a 14 year old would like. My nephew went nuts.... i highly recommend this location

It was ok. The games were decently organized and they had a decent selection. All the other collectables were placed haphazardly around the store. Nothing real special about this store.

If your able to sell me a product at your door you should be able to exchange broken products at your door that you sold me. Why sell a warranty on a product and then not allow me to use it? I understand times are weird with COVID-19 but if your going to open then offer the service you continue to sell.

Its good haw good customer support and great games

The first thing I noticed apon coming in was a hand sanitizer station. The cashier was very polite.

As a parent I only go to GameStop for that purpose. I dont know anything about games....etc. However, whenever I go to this GameStop the employees there makes me feel like a gamer and helps me to understand the gaming world. The employees are nice and respectful.

The staff here is so friendly and helpful! Whether you’re looking for a gift or trying to find a new game (or an old one) they are the people to talk to. They have a great selection of cheap used games as well.

This location has the most knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating employees. I had an issue with a return, and Justin and Shelby solved it quickly. They were friendly the entire time and never made me feel like I was holding them up, even though it took a little while. I can confidently say it was the least painful return Ive ever done at any retailer, and I left in a better mood than when I arrived!

Called for curbside pick up and the female who picked up was disgustingly RUDE. She claims the only way to order is online. . If that’s the case just only offer online shopping !

There are some videogames not so much but you can find something that you liked

I like the old staff they had before Covid .. The new girl is horrible & not friendly at all. And they have nothing in stock so just save your time and go to Walmart or target .

Keep away from union game stop this store is absolutely horrible .Tom is the worst game stop employee I have ever dealt with. I tried to return a online order and he had some idea that I was trying to rip off the store.When I went to a different store due to Tom being so unprofessional the guy that worked at the other game stop said that he had contacted other game stop through email to tell them to beware of me .Tom is absolutely unprofessional but little does he know I went through game stop put a complaint in about him and due to his unprofessional attitude I received all my money back they paid for my shipping so for everyone who wants to go to game stop keep away from union and especially keep away from Tom he is the worst.

The staff here are helpful, knowledgeable and patient. We purchased our current pre-owned system from them and it was in great condition.

Walked into the door and didn’t even get a greeting, the employee was too busy chatting up with their friend... not even a hi or a bye... and of course couldn’t find what I was looking for since I didn’t even get asked to begin with ! Horrible !

Tried to do a simple exchange for an unopened item. Could not believe the hassle I was given. Ive worked retail and its pretty basic goodcustomer service is key. I know they dont get paid the best, but still at least try a little.

Love this place. There is a young lady at the register who hands down is the most knowledgeable person in there. Any questions you have about anything related to games, consoles etc she always has the answer which is a great help for a mother with boys who are into these things. ONLY DOWN IS NO BATHROOM FOR CUSTOMERS because that is the area they use in the back for their inventory.

The store leader Thomas needs customer service retraining. I tried to trade in a system & he made up parts that was missing to prevent me from trading it in. When I proved to him that the part was never on the console in the first place did he apologize??? No instead he made up a fake issue with the controller and offered half of what I should have been offered to force me out the store. I went elsewhere and there was no issues so the problem was this location. Avoid going here, theres plenty of other options.

I’ve been to as many Gamestops as I can remember, but this one takes the cake for the best one. I always find the best/largest selection of in stock pre-owned games here, and the employees are always so friendly and helpful. If you have any questions or concerns, the staff can help, no matter the issue.I still get games on steam digitally, but I can’t not get physical games for the Switch, and for me, this is the best place to go for that. And I always get a great discount on them for being a pro member!

None of my questions every go unanswered at this Game Stop. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Always willing to offer any clues into a mom trying to stay connected to the gaming world for my kids.

There is a a legendary employee there that goes by the name of shelby.. Her knowledge in gaming has me suspect that she was grown in a lab trained at birth by a top secret goverment bent on providing the consumers the best customer service our current technology allows. To make this story short... Shelby was designed to the very fabric of her soul bestow excellent customer service to anyone willing to cross her path.

Great for game stuff. Not so much for anything else. GameStop is supposed to be this amazing place where you should be able to buy games, make trades or get advice on certain nerdy topics. Occasionally I go in here to sell back games or phones, as I tend to cycle through different models fairly quickly. However anytime I go in to even make the attempt they treat you like youre some shady character selling stolen goods. Tried to part with an unlocked S8 and the clerk with the Pokemon tattoo came up with every excuse not to buy the phone, claiming their system didnt recognize the device or to come back with a different sim card. Then I get shooed out of the store while him and his co-workers immediately group up to talk as though I was delaying the fast paced and demanding aspects of their jobs as store clerks. Unless youre going in to simply pay outlandish prices on games or kick the nerd talk, dont expect to be treated well.
