If this place were 3 hrs from my house, I’d drive there. It’s full of wonders!Gorgeous, handcrafted, one-of-a-kind pieces made by Amanda (a professional makeup artist for film) and her colleagues and friends; standard Halloween fare; as well as the full range of makeup and wigs you used to be able to buy at Ricky’s before that empire collapsed.Knowledgeable and friendly customer service, reasonable prices, vast selection, with covid precautions in effect.

I havent been to The Costume Scene in Years as I moved out of State. However, when I was living in the area I used to purchase all of my special effects supplies from here.I also called several days ago to inquire about a product they might have and the Woman I spoke with was so pleasant and helpful.I will definitely do business with The Costume Scene in the near Future.

Always extremely helpful they take the time to engage and help you find exactly what you are looking for. There makeup skills are great and they gladly share lots of tips with you. Always a great place to stop for costumes, makeup, wigs and accessories. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about this store. Everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable, and they were very patient with my selection process. I loved my Victorian dress. Prices are fair and reasonable.

The new owner of The Costume Scene is amazing! She costumed our production of How to Succeed in gorgeous vintage 1960s clothing. Then, she designed, constructed, and tailored the most intricate and beautiful costumes for our production of Beauty and the Beast - with a cast of more than 70! Her work is the highest quality, her staff is equally talented, and everyone is so helpful and friendly. And her prices are half of what the mail order costumers charge. There is no reason to go anywhere else!

Absolutely amazing customer service! Last minute, I needed Mehron clown white face paint for my church mime group. I emailed the store just shy of midnight the evening before Easter ( I needed the makeup for Easter Sunday service) Even though they are closed on Sundays and it was Easter they were so kind to come in at 9:30 AM for us to purchase the makeup! It was an absolute blessing!! They gave good ole fashion customer service! We are so thankful to have such a great store so close by with outstanding management!
