The staff was beyond rude. The did not carry lox and said it “would be to expensive for you if we did.” They did not have most of their advertised bagels, ran out of bacon, and were completely disorganized with distributing orders. We ended up ordering just bagels with cream cheese and the spread was so thin you could see the bagel through the spread. Don’t waste your money here.

I loved this his place until it changed ownership. Now the bagels are bad, the prices are beyond expensive (other local places are substantially less) and the portions are smaller. Strange, but true: my breakfast bacons egg & cheese sandwich (I tried twice to be nice) tasted like pure sugar. The first time I though my plain bagel was next to a french toast or something, but nope. It happened again and I mean sweet like cotton candy. Not what it want in a breakfast sandwich. I won’t be back.On a positive note, the service did improve 100 percent. So much faster!

This place is terrible. The service is ridiculous. We went in and there was no one even there being served. We order two bagels with cream cheese. They just stood around and did not make our bagels. We had to ask them 3 times if they were going to make our bagels. On top of the terrible service, they got our order wrong and we ended up paying more for what they gave us.... never again will we go to this bagel place.

Horrible. Had to ask for my money back then walked out. Cashier ignored me, took orders behind me.

The only reason I stop here any more because it’s conveniently on my way to work. I always callIn my order, I’m also always on hold for a good 5-10 not matter what time of day it is. Just to come a half hour later to pick up my food and it’s not ready yet and wrong. Ever. Single. Time. This is the slowest bagel place I’ve ever been to ! Why does it take a half hour to make a breakfast sandwich ??

Great bagels especially the jalapeno cheddar. I am only giving 4 stars because they dont enough egg and meat on it for the prices they charge.

So, before they changed owners, this place was aces. Now, the service is rude, the food is more expensive and not as good. We havent been back in ages. We tried many times after the change hoping it was just growing pains. Its not. It sucks too, because I used to love it.

Best bagels in town! They use a nice griddle for their eggs, not microwaved. They only accept cash, so be prepared.

When this place was Bagels and Beyond it was good. The coffee was bad and they didn’t take cash but the service was good and the bagels were good. Now it’s Bagel House and it’s awful. The bagels are still good but the service is absolutely terrible. I’ve had issues every time I’ve gone since the change. It looks like the only people working there are children and theres no real management anywhere. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Bagels were delicious!and was pleased to find that they did have gluten free available..I called ahead and they had that breakfast ready when I got there...they had regular bagels available and the vegetable cream cheese was very good..try it!

Bordentown bagels have bigger better bagels for a lower price. And this place only accepts cash only which is disappointing. These bagels are very chewy not soft and barely any cream cheese! Very disappointed.

Unmatched customer service!A couple weeks ago I called and set up a breakfast order for a work party. Steve was amazing. He gave me his number so that I could confirm the order the day before. He responded quickly and always ensured we were happy.This morning I picked up the order and when I got to work, I realized the muffins I ordered were missing. I threw Steve a text and he personally delivered them to my office with a smile within minutes. I thought that was so professional. A+.We will definitely be ordering from here again.

This establishment got my order wrong, left two sandwiches off of the order and the corrected the order. However I then got home and MY BAGELS WERE STILL WRONG. I will no longer be using this establishment. Their service is awful.

This was my first visit but I have to say that the Jalapeño cheddar bagel with jalapeño cream cheese is amazing

They mess up my order EVERY TIME no matter how simple. The quality of food has gone down significantly since they changed from bagels and beyond to bagel house.

The BEST bagels in all of NJ!! Dont waste anymore time go there and get a delicious bagel in your mouth! Lots of variety outstanding and changing coffees. Not lattes but coffee flavors are diverse and consistently good. Small place and cash only. If youre going on a weekend morning go early they get busy!

The past two times that we called & placed an order, our breakfast sandwiches were completely wrong. There were 5. Instead of offering to fix the sandwiches, they offered 20% off our next order. Our next order was wrong too...we decided to try their sandwiches. The “buffalo chicken” wasn’t even hot and the grilled chicken was shredded & tasteless. They also didn’t even wrap the sandwiches in foil properly and dripped all over the brown paper bag. Safe to say this place has gone downhill ... such a shame. Bordentown Bagels will now get our business!

Been eating bagels my whole life, stopped her on my way to visit family on a Sunday, service was not up to par and the bagels seemed like they were day old, never go there again, the only saving grace was there cream cheese had the chive it was great, saved the old bagel

Today at 1040 am I entered your Hamilton location and was appauld with observing 3 people without a mask. One couple and another individual. They should never been allowed to place an order and stand around waiting while the rest of us had a mask on.I visit this store at least twice a month and spend between $25 an $30 each visit. I can tell you I will not be coming back. Your staff should had advised these people to leave and there was a BIG sign written on the door that you must have a mask on. I hope you correct this in the future.Thank youAlex

I have been going here for years!! This is one of the best places anywhere around for breakfast food!! They also have a wide variety of freshly made flavored cream cheeses for purchase, as well as lunch too! They sell honey wheat bagels which I have never found anywhere else, and are splendid if you are looking for a very tasty, lower carb bagel! Excellent! Highly recommend going here if you are in the area!

I just want to give a huge SHOUT OUT Bagels & Beyond in Yardville!! I drove all the way from Mount Laurel today to find an open bagel shop and stumbled upon this hidden gem. When it comes to the way I like my bagel prepared they had no objection to burning my bagel the way I like it. (Garlic bagel charred/blackened pretty much burnt beyond recognition with a slather of butter). They made it perfectly.Just want to say thank you for being opened during these uncertain times for us all.

Bagels are really good. The bagels are fresh and just great tasting.

Fantastic bagels, nice staff, and a hopping place. They have a terrific range of bagels (the egg everything bagel was delicious), and their veggie cream cheese had recognizable pieces of vegetables in it. Very reasonably priced, too.

They finally allowed credit cards, I thought this place was going to improve with new management. Didnt realize you could go from mediocre to really bad. Bagels are still good, but they dont make up for the terrible service now. Most of my orders are wrong, and wait times are ridiculous. Today was my last straw that after I waited 20 minutes they still got my order wrong. Will not be coming back, unless I want to start my day in a bad mood, I know where to go.

I Can tell it’s definitely under new management. Very limited on everything and the quality of the bagels went down hill. Wish they wouldn’t over do it with the cream cheese as well. Over all I’m tired of over priced garbage food everywhere in this local Hamilton/Yardville area.

Great bagel sandwich!

Its with a heavy heart that I write this review. Bagels and Beyond used to be by far the best bagel spot around. Since the change to Bagel House or whatever they have become their business has taken an enormous hit. Not only did prices go up and portion sizes go down but the service dramatically decreased. 3 times in a row now I called to order ahead and simply waitied on hold for 15 minutes to be forgotten on hold. Once I stayed on hold until I got there and let them know that I was forgotten about, but last time when I finally got their to order in person . She answered the phone and told me to wait while she took the phone order! This isnt even mentioning the fact that all 3 times Ive gone since the change they have gotten my order wrong. Ive come to this bagel spot since I was 10 years old and it breaks my heart I have to find a new breakfast spot.

The new owner, Steve and the staff are friendly, fast and great service. They make you feel welcome and the way they got along and joked with each other made me laugh. You can tell they all get along well.

Good bagels & coffee

Waited on hold for 15 mins while counterstaff took other walk-in and phone orders. Drove from Bordentown to Yardville and back before they picked up the phone from on open line. Heard her tell the other counterstaff “this guy’s been waiting for 15 mins on that line” and another customer in the background said he’d been waiting for 7 mins before just walking in. Unacceptable for 0930 on a Friday. Not like it’s Sunday brunch…

Yesterday was the first time that I went to this bagel place. I ordered the special, ham, egg and cheese. I no some places put salt, pepper, etc., so I said no pepper 3 times. The kid even ask me and I said again no pepper. It took forever to make my sandwich and I was ready to walk out because I was late for work.The personality of the workers is not what expected when working with the public. You are supposed to have this outgoing and friendly personality and it just wasnt happening here.I got to work and had to do a few things. I decided to eat my bagel and when I opened it, I was so disappointed because it was loaded with pepper. I can see sprinkling a little, but it had it on both sides of the bagel. I cannot have pepper.I called the store and the kid put on the manager. Instead of saying sorry at first, he went on saying that I shouldnt have said no pepper. I said excuse me, but this was my first time and the kid didnt ask or say anything and some places adds some salt and pepper and I wanted to make sure that there wasnt any on my sandwich. It was like I had to battle with the owner instead of taking blame, he was making excuses on why it happened. Finally, he said sorry and hell give my money back or I can get a new sandwich. I told him that I would be in the next day.I went in today and again, the girl was arguing with me about the way they operate. I said this was the first time I ordered anything, how am I supposed to know and when someone says no pepper, it means no pepper. She said well may be he miss heard me and again I said I said it 3 times and if he wasnt sure, he should have repeated it to me. The customer service here is horrible and needless to say, I will never step foot in there again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know. Not that some of them dont even go there anyway because of the poor service.In future, dont argue with a customer when someone from your staff makes a mistake.

I love their bagels, and their donuts and muffins are to die for! Also their flavored cream cheeses are great so is their breakfast butter. I recommend everyone try a lightly toasted French toast bagel with breakfast butter and if youre still not sold on the place then you honestly might not like yourself. (Bc it aint the bagels) Guaranteed good mornings await after having your breakfast here I promise you.

Must be new management, stopped for a bagel with jalapeno cream cheese, tomato and cucumbers. Told me they were out of cukes, then they said they had no tomatoes. So I said just give a bagel with cream cheese, guess what? No jalapeno cream cheese!!! Used to be a good place....

I was craving a really good bagel and this place HIT THE SPOT!!! Wonderful service and great food, cant ask for much more than that.I also would like to give a shout out to one of the associates. Allie (spelling?) did a wonderful job assisting a customer with special needs that many other people would have dismissed. She was respectful and accommodating to the customers needs and even took the time to ask the her name and promised to remember her preferences for her future visits. This above and beyond kindness made me love this place even more. Thank you.

Excellent bagels, may even be the best, however they are soooooo slow. If you get a breakfast sandwich, be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes. Customer service could improve as well.

Love this place! Been going here since I moved to Yardville in 1998, I moved to NY in 2003 and still come back to the bagel place for there amazing bagels! Love that they put the bagels that stink or sticky in a separate bag! Its the little things that make some customers happy.

Hands down the best bagels anywhere. Try the sausage egg and cheese wrap great too. Unusual varieties like jalapeno and cheddar, garlic tomato or multi grain.

Call your order in sometimes wait is long. But even if you don’t, bagels are completely worth it! Loved every bite

Great Bagels but the customer service was dreary and hideous. Both employees that Ive dealt with were either not sure of their products or made you feel like a bother, and my fork was handed to me not by the handle, but by the eating end...really? ...full hand and all! I really wanted to eat my macaroni and potato salad on the spot but waited until I got home with a clean utensil. ...both salads were great and worth the wait.

Wanted to try somewhere new and actually glad I did.. very tasty bagels and a great abundance of them especially on Sunday morning where most other places were unfortunately out of many flavors. The sesame bagel was very good and toasted just how I like it.. the bagel was thinner and smaller than typical doughy nj bagels which I loved as I enjoy a more crispy bagel.. had a great salty flavorful taste to it.. bagel did not have a lot of cream cheese on it so if you like a good amount ask for little bit extra cream cheese the line was busy and took few minutes but thats usually a good sign and it was as the food was pretty good.. the employees were nice and helpful.. very reasonable average price... Did not try the coffee but there is literally a Dunkin donuts right across the street and most people who came in had Dunkin coffee which lead me to think there coffee may not be the best but Ill definitely try it next time.. overall will definitely return when Im in the area. Good bagels, cute little seats to eat in, parking right in front reasonable price and nice employees.**Second time not as great.. got home one was egg bagel sesame which wasnt ordered yuckkk 😥😥 and both that and the plain tasted like pure cinnamon raisin to the point you couldnt even eat it.. forgot some of the order and literally has three people running around not taking orders with a line of people.. literally they were doing nothing!! huhhhhh.. the pluses the coffee was good

I love their food and the staff is very friendly. Also even if theyre very busy with a line to the door you can still manage to be out of there in under 10 mins so you cant beat the convenience!! I eat there almost everyday so take my word for it and the jalapeno cheddar bagel is beyond amazing!!!

Horrible compared to the locations at LBI!! Barley puts any meat or cheese on your breakfast sandwich. Asked to remake it and it was still wrong. Asked to talk to a manager and was told he was busy and they would remake it for a third time. Waste of money! Never coming to bagels and begin again unless it’s the surf city location.

Spent 45 minutes and didnt even get my bagel. If you see a line and value your time you should go elsewhere.

The bagels here are good, but the service is horrendous. I waited 30 minutes for a egg sandwich, meanwhile the three people behind me got their sandwiches from the grill before me. They must have forgotten to put my order in. Just a horrible experience. Then when I told them I didn’t want it anymore, they were like it just came out. As a business, I would have gave the customer their money back, or offered something for their inconvenience, instead they looked at me like I was crazy for being upset. Sorry, will be finding another local bagel shop.

We go here often. They have great coffee. The egg and bacon/pork roll/ham/whatever sandwiches are great!

Worst experience of my life. Worst service, even worse bagel! To start a 32 minute wait to get my sandwich. They should call themselves bagels and beyond 30 minute wait! Asked for egg and bacon on plain bagel TOASTED, got half an egg 2 strips of bacon on a not toasted bagel. Along with this I got a lovely surprise upon getting home and sitting down to eat. A nice long hair strung through my eggs. Never go here to Bagels & Disappointment.
