This place is absolutely garbage. The hostesses didn’t seat me. I received no menu, utensils or napkin. My tea had a lot of food floating in it. The food isn’t that great. I didn’t receive the grated cheese I asked and couldn’t request it as the waiter didn’t check on me. I’ll never visit again or bring any colleagues here!
We dined outdoors here and it was great. Food was tasty, portions good size, staff was friendly. Refills took a little while sometimes but patience is needed these days with dining out, especially outdoors. But food was worth it.

Pizza was best Ive had in LA. Wood fired crispy crust great sauce and topping were fresh! Pizza you’ll remember! The salads were awesome too. Gluten free pizza and pasta lovers look nowhere else. This is the spot!
This a very distinctive place, with a unique food from Tuscan Italy! very well known Restaurant for the People that likes to enjoy Italian dishes! Surprisingly now they carry Mexican beer🍻! Two thumbs up👍👍!
Ooh, this place got good.Theyve got a real chef. Or maybe Im just spending more. Ive been getting the fish entrees, all around $25 with a couple of sides, and all great. Im crazy about the wild red snapper with pink mushroom sauce but it has bones. You might be able to get that sauce on the salmon. I have and it was pretty great. The pic is the salmon Tuscan style, covered in olives, artichoke hearts and tomatoes. What a meal!

When I arrived at the restaurant my expectation of the food was very good because my friend recommended this place to me, I ordered spaguetti di mare, but I think they did it as if the cook was in a hurry to leave, (we arrived at 8:10 pm) the service I think It must improve a lot, I also ordered a tiramisu and the presentation was so unpleasant that it made me laugh because I think a boy of 10 year old would have done it better. I think they must improve the quality of food and service.

Great place for lunch and reasonably priced. The bread we were served was warm and fresh, delicious! The spaghetti with white wine sauce was good, nothing special. I did quite enjoy the creme brûlée cheesecake however. Fast and friendly service from waiter and nice location makes this a great casual place to eat if you’re in Santa Monica.

I always enjoy my food at Rosti. My usual order is the margarita pizza or one of their pastas. They have fabulous gnocchi as well. For an appetizer I love their mussels and I enjoy the cheesecake a ton. I recommend everyone try rosti as their next Italian restaurant.

Excellent Italian food. We had the pizza and two pastas. Everything was delicious. Service was young and friendly. It was mothers Day and it took a while to get our order which is understandable
Neighborhood Italian joint on Montana Ave. I like taking friends who are visiting to this restaurant because it’s reasonable compared to other options on the street and I like the pizzas. Most recently came here on a Monday night around 7pm with my sister and got seated immediately. The place is also bustling and sometimes there’s a bit of a wait. There’s indoor and outdoor seating (with heaters) and you can have dogs outdoors. They give you complimentary bread with olive oil and basalmic, but I suggest saving room for your food. Be patient as service is slow and the food will take about 20-30 min to come out, but it’s byob and there’s a chill atmosphere. The Bad Leroy Brown pie is heavily laden with meat and the large can feed 2-3 with leftovers to spare. The pink sauce pasta is a bit overrated but I also do like the Bleecker St pie. There’s a gender neutral bathroom in the back, street parking along Montana, no free WiFi, and they do accept credit cards. They do takeout and delivery as well. Overall it’s a chill spot that’s family friendly and not at all pretentious.

One of the best restaurants around and one of my favorite places to eat. Pasta, chicken steaks and potatoes kinda place. The food is fresh, high quality and they don’t mind customizing orders for you or making/modifying dishes if they have the ingredients. It is on the heavy side so it’s a place to only eat when you’re really hungry.
I was with da family waiter was cool but had a few mistakes. I had the bbq sandwich w/fries but the fries were cold so just not eat them. Well enjoy

I dont understand why this restaurant has so many good reviews.When a restaurant has a big menu... makes me feel suspicious. Its impossible to have good quality in the food if everything is frozen and Is frozen because is imposible for a restaurant to do every day such a different amount of food.The Italian pizza was horrible and the chicken Milanese same.The service was too slow. We waited around 40 minutes and there were just 5 tables more...The only think I liked about going to this restaurant was the good weather and the great area where the restaurant is located.
I hadnt been here since Covid. I went to Rosti today for lunch and it was delightful. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area with a view of the trendy Montana Avenue. Our champagne was chilled, salmon entree was cooked to perfection and they even serve squash spaghetti. The menu is huge and great for vegetarians and pescatarians like me. Cant wait to go back for dinner.

We were group of 4, I personally orded the famous half chicken the food didnt taste like anything. No taste at all, had to ask for lots of salt and pepper. Got the garlic mashed potato for the side there was no garlic at all. Same exact opinion with the other 3 people who were with me. We also ordered a calamari for an appetizer and you pretty much dont get any meat you got all calarmi legs that you cant even eat because its disgusting. Never again I really dont know why it has good reviews.
Great place for gluten free options. Not many places have any gluten free options but this place has a lil more than usual. Pastas, bread options for sandwiches etc. Good tasting food. A bit pricey but good portions and food. Staff is friendly and cool.
If you want great Italian food, Rosti Tuscan is the place to go to in Calabasas as well as Santa Monica. The food is always amazing and with the current situation with Covid, they have created a curb-side pickup so you can still enjoy their meals or you can eat on the patios. The portions are huge and the food is always exceptional. 5 STARS all the way...
On a cool March evening in Santa Monica my wife and I, hungry for a meal after replacement car shopping, came upon a small slice of Tuscan heaven called Rosti.An Italian Kitchen, manned by relaxed, hard working people that understand that serving meals to you is more than just sustenance, Its people relating to you, talking and joking with you and overall, making you feel like mamma is calling all the shots in the kitchen insuring that, not only will you eat well, youll have a good time doing it.Even though the place is in a little disarray, it cant escape its comfort and charm.The managers friendly smile and comfortable demeanor truly round out the overall experience here, as if to say, Youre gonna go home happy no matter what you do. My wife had the Chicken Parmesan and as you can see it was a tiny portion.... Yeah... RIGHT! I had Fettuccine with sun dried tomatoes in a spicy pink sauce topped with cajun blackened chicken. I still dream about it. Afterwards on the managers suggestion, we split the home made Tiramisu dessert. The best Ive ever had. We went home with to go boxes, full bellies and a wonderful memory of a quaint little Tuscan restaurant.......called Rosti............ Stay Gold...
This was the BEST pizza I have ever had!!! The ingredients were fresh and the gluten free pizza crust was thin, light, and fluffy. I will not eat those chain market fast food pizzas again. By far the best EVER!!!! Self parking is in the back, or metered parking is available. Met the owner who was extremely nice like the rest of the staff. My new favorite tuscan Italian restaurant.
Oh man this place is great. Outdoor seating with heating lamps even fire pits. You will be served here by a server. Their staff is excellent, well trained well mannered. Highly recommended experience.

Terrible service and mediocre food. After an hour of waiting the food that that was delivered was disappointing. Try somewhere else. We were offered free desserts. I guess that’s something.

Ive tried a bunch of their menu items, from pizza to fish, meat, pasta and desert, and everything has been appetizing and tasty. Prices are reasonable, and downright economical for their zip code, but most places around here are more expensive and arent as consistently good.
Rosti is an amazing option for Italian in Santa Monica. The staff is extremely accomodating and they always get your order right, no matter how complicated! Great with large orders and catering, too. Known for their various chicken dishes and diverse menu (Gluten free, Vegan, & Veg options). My personal favorite is the chicken and vegetable Ravioli!
This restaurant is certainly one of the finest restaurants in the neighborhood. Always when I visit this place I am absolutely happy. They manage their high level service and the topmost level of cooking they offer. You no doubt will love this place. Very recommended.

5 stars because they let you bring your own wine without a corking fee. Combined with a 2-person specialty pizza for $23, this gets you to pretty unbeatable value on Montana.
This spot is the one I like best. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The team is very warm and the cuisine they offer is so yummy. I would always prefer to have a nice meal in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.
Excellent little Italian American kitchen. Good neighborhood feel, and a very large menu. Dishes are a bit typical Italian American. The pink sauce seems to be a theme though. There is no wine and beer, but they are open to self brought bottles of your favorite. Please be courteous and tip a bit extra. They are kind to provide the glasses.

The atmosphere was very casual. It was a happy place full of families enjoying an evening meal. The selection was great, I got gnocchi with pink sauce and it was delicious. Too much for me to eat in one sitting, so they packaged it up really nicely in a microwavable container.
This spot is worth trying. They have big portions for fair prices. Constantly well kept and with good mood. Highly recommended.

Rosti just updated its menu, and the food is a little bit better now. Its still not really my style, is I tend towards the Eastern Mediterranean food. If you loved Brad and pizza and stuff, youll be a happy camper here. Dont ask for separate checks, though.

.... A friend and I visited Rosti today and it was pretty darn good! (Even considering I did not see one actual ITALIAN in the kitchen! Oh my!) . I had a fabulous Salami and pepperoni sandwich which featured good bread and my friend had Salmon and pasta which he thought was well made. Also, our lovely waitress INGA was very attentive to our demanding needs and she had a FANTASTIC ATTITUDE and was ultra friendly and so sweet with me. HAD TO ALTER REVIEW. last time visited here, pizza had no sauce (thats what happens when you have no real Italians in the kitchen and you have others working there) so my friend and I asked for a side of marinara sauce. Not only was the sauce like water but I was charged the additional fee for the little bit of sauce. Thats like getting charged an extra $3 for an extra pickle. Definitely wont be coming back here again. Getting charged like that, by the owners, thats just what you called gouging.
Delicious food at reasonable prices. Mostly I prefer either take out or delivery and they do a great job. Spaghetti with meatballs is my favorite. Its always busy. A cozy neighborhood Italian restaurant.

We live in Santa Monica and we call this place our second kitchen. The staff is awesome and the food is the best for the price. However the best kept secret is that you can bring your own wine and beer and there is no corking fee. If you are from out of town try it and order my specialty pizza:no tomato sauce, pesto, artichoke, mushrooms, caramelized onion and arugula on the top. Enjoy and offer a glass of wine to your waiter or waitress. They wont turn you down!!!

Service was amazing, as always. Shout-out to Coach Parker because shes such a beautiful person! Rostis food made my junior and senior years of high school way less stressful! Good food calls the mind. The Specialty: chicken; excellent pasta. (Thats all Ive had from there) but I fully trust youll have a good experience at this Rosti! Worth it.

Amazing experience. The food was spectacular, the view on the outside patio was phenomenal, and the host Tailoni made me feel at home in the restaurant. She brought us everything we needed and was very nice to us.

Overall pretty decent if you order properly. This place is legendary for their chicken, but I ordered fish for some inexplicable reason and found it to be sauced ad nauseum. It was very hard to get through it, and the greens were blanched and flavorless.
Great food at a reasonable price! Another place I love because of their many vegan options (they have a vegan menu if you ask) along with a full menu for omniviores. The only downside is their bread is so good I usually eat too much and am full before I can finish my main course.

Nice independent place severing simple Italian food. You can take out or eat in their tiny restaurant, where you are basically sitting in the kitchen. Great smells, store service, on the louder side.
The food is great, very affordable, diverse menu, delicious desserts. Outside seating is available which makes it very pleasant. If you prefer an alcoholic beverage, you need to bring your own, they will do the corking, however, they cannot serve it outside. It is a wonderful family restaurant.
