Cycle gear is great! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and they are all bike enthusiasts which always makes shopping here a great experience. They usually have exactly what I’m looking for in stock, and if not, it’s never been more than a few days to get what I’m looking for. Dirt, street, track, trail; they’ve got you covered from tires to helmets and everything in between.

I have used Cycle Gear for many years as my go to shop for many riding accessories for myself and my bike. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are very good and the quality is competitive with many other motorcycle outfitters. I like that you can check out the product before buying. This is especially true of helmets and clothes.

I was amazed by the huge selection of helmets available at this location!The day I went in I was heading to a motorcycle shop down the street to find out they were closed when I arrived. I googled helmet and Cycle Gear was one of the options so I went in and to my surprise they have a lot to choose from as far as motorcycle gear. I was able to get help with my helmet as well as help installing Bluetooth in helmet. I would recommend purchasing Riders Plus Membership to get cash back rewards if you plan on going in for more.

Staff have been great. Just moved into this stores region recently and had come in to make some purchases. I bought a backpack not realizing that it was the smaller bag. I only have a motorcycle so I had to wear the bag home. I had it for just a few days and brought it back in asking if I could return it for the larger size. The manager refused to let me exchange the bag claiming that it was dirty and had a dent in the material. This is a most unpleasant experience and now will have to find another location to purchase from. This is not the experience I have had at other Cycle Gear locations so was pretty disappointed that this was the case. Again, the staff was awesome and willing to ask any questions I had. I purchased a new Sena 50s and was planning on asking to price match Amazon but completely forgot to ask the staff to do this as I was already upset over the bag and just wanted to leave.

Great place to come to! My son recently found a love for go cart racing and I needed to get him a helmet but wasn’t sure what to look for. All of my questions were answered about what helmet to get the benefits of getting one over another and even how to find the right size. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wide selection of inventory and a great friendly staff.

Went in as a new rider looking for some gear to get started. I learned the differences between helmets and got one I am super satisfied with. I went in with my older brother and still had plenty of questions but the guy there answered every single one of them quite easily and helped me pick out the best gear for me. I dont remember his name but he had long hair and a wrist splint, but he was awesome and did a great job of helping me get to where I need to be.

Just getting back into riding and stopped here first. Staff was friendly, helpful, never pushed me for anything outside my budget range, and gave me space and time to spend with the gear. I’ll definitely be back!

I come here a lot, however, I have never wrote a review. One thing I can say is this place is awesome. Prices are reasonable and there is always some sort of sale happening. I just left the store. If you like to be left alone and not get any help. This is the place to go. I came in looking to spend money on all new gear and no one seemed to see if we needed help. People that walked in behind us got help right away. We will never come back.

David provided excellent customer service. He explained the helmets perfectly just like the youtube vids we watched when doing our own research. He really knew his stuff. They did not have out helmets in stock but were more that willing to obtain out helmets from the warehouse and will call us promptly once in the store. Looking forward to riding with out new helmets.

Really good place, online and in person. Stock seems to be getting low for some items, I’m guessing because of covid. The only thing I’d suggest, if it doesn’t already exist, is doing some type of rewards program or something so frequent customers can get some type of discount. I order about once every two weeks and other stores usually offer it. Just a suggestion.

Ok Id just like to say honesty goes a long way... This review would get 5 stars if the salesman was more honest. Its one thing to under promise and over deliver. We came in to have a new inner tube installed onto a dirt bike wheel. We were quoted for a price that seemed reasonable, but the time frame seemed a bit excessive ~8+ hrs? I explained we were looking to ride that day and we didnt live close. They assured me there was nothing they could do to speed up the process. We were fine with the wait either way(I planned on returning the next day). So we left for home only to be called back about 30 mins later saying the job was finished. Frustrated I drove back to get the finished wheel to get it out of the way.There was an issue with the bead not seating on the tire but Im not worried about that.Im just confused... We could have waited in the truck for the wheel or they could have just checked with the wheel dept to give us a better time frame.Thanks for getting it done so soon but please just work with your customers to be more transparent.

Took my front Harley wheel in for a new tire. They had the correct tire in stock priced just $5 more than online. Mounted and balanced while I waited. Only improvement would be some chairs for customers to sit while waiting.

Well I thought it was an honest place who takes 8 hours to install a tire on a rim then they lie to you and say in a couple hours then they lie again and say your tire will be next then they close and dont call you to let you know it will not be ready. One thing I hate is a lying dishonest place of business take my money and say it will be ready today dont lie be honest at least I can respect the honesty not liers. Never again. Will I give my business to this place.

I went to buy a stator for a triumph 675 Daytona and they ordered me the ricks motorsports stator for $203.00 I put it on literally in the next 2 hours the stator went out just cheap parts they order suck and they don’t return a part if you have used it so if the part came bad from factory your screwed because cycle needs to have their parts returned unused garbage place don’t buy nothing from cycle gear they just ripped me off for $203.00

Purchased riding gloves with two year warranty The gloves tore within six months. When I tried to exchange them I was told it was normal wear and tear. I guess the warranty only applies if you don’t use the product you purchase at cycle gear. I’ve been shopping here for years, but will no longer purchase anything from this store. Poor customer service!

These guys are great!!!!Just went and picked up my online order ship to store delivery today at the San Antonio store. Tyler helped me with the sizing of the helmet for my wife and was very helpful in getting the right size for her.I then asked that he install the Smart HJC 10b Bluetooth in the helmet and he was very proficient and qualified to do the job in a timely manner. He also installed the pinlock insert that I had purchased to go with the helmet.Next he paired the new helmet intercom to my existing intercom in my helmet and we were set!After a great ride home through the Texas Hill Country, I called the store to discuss how to set the VOX noise control so that the background noise wasnt being picked up and transmitted through the intercom. Wouldnt you know it, Tyler again answered the phone and he immediately knew who I was and walked me through the process of changing the configuration settings to correct the problem.Cycle Gear is a great place to get the gear you need and the support that goes with it!!Thank you Tyler and the whole crew!!

The customer service was spectacular as a first time rider, I felt that they cared about my safety and the comfort of my ride all with consideration to my budget. David was super helpful and didnt hover over me or make me feel like he was making a sale off of a novice. I was given helpful advice and recommendations based on the gear I was looking for, even though I went in just for basic gear for an MSF course. I left with gear I know will protect me long after my test, while I learn to become a better rider. I suggest you do some research for what you like, go try on some stuff and talk to the guys at cycle gear for recommendations and advice, because who knows better then people who ride.

I did plenty of research prior to ordering my tires. I called my local Cycle Gear to inquire about the mounting and balancing service beforehand. The gentleman I spoke to said I could have them shipped to the store and for $25 a tire, they could mount and balance them. Fast forward to the day my tires arrived and I called to drive up there to get them installed. Taylor tells me they only mount and balance them OFF the bike. I would have to bring my rims and tires off the bike! I could’ve received my tires through another vendor days before AND had them mounted on my bike by now had the other person told me that prior to placing my order. Now I get to drive my truck 23 miles to pick them up so I can drop them off elsewhere, drop off my truck then ride my motorcycle for the install. This is what you call terrible customer service!! You literally cost me MORE money by ordering through you people!!
