Went to buy a chair for my home office and had outstanding service from Austin. There were TONS of chairs I could sit in to see which one I liked the best. Austin was in the copy department and when I asked for a salesman in the furniture department he got me a cart, explained the warranty/installation programs they had, found that I qualified for a discount and was overall super helpful and professional. Having owned a business in the past, I know first hand that good employees are hard to find and Austin was super! Made buying a chair, something I had procrastinated b/c I dreaded it, was very enjoyable at this store.

I just wanted to take the time to congratulate your employee Riley on a job well done as well as the rest of the staff. Ive worked in sales and he exceeded my expectations for service. Typically at most office stores I just get the standard Hello, welcome and Im left alone, which Im fine with. At this location (Which is sadly the last Staples in San Antonio) the staff greeted me and when I made my way to the furniture department Riley introduced himself and took the time to research my needs and inform me of the various desk and chairs available. He did this not only with me but another couple that came in at the same time. Management seemed attentive and supportive of him as I navigated the purchase process. I was shocked to find out this is his first job. Id like to commend him on a job well done as I think he will go far in whatever he sets his intention on. Id also like to commend the management for developing his skills to address customer needs (in a non pushy manner) and for being supportive when called upon. This will be my new office store of choice. Thank you.

Not sure why this location has such a low rating because the staff is so kind and welcoming. ESPECIALLY Santiago! He was so so patient and kind with all our questions. He was very knowledgeable about all the products and protection/warranty plans that best suited us. To find someone with Awesome customer service is hard to find now in days. I usually don’t shop here but I will as long as they continue to hire outstanding Sales Representatives like Santiago.

Tonight I went to this store for the first time because I had received an email about a few school supplies sale. Our church (Grace Point Church) is having a foster to adopt ministry event in July where 200 families/grandparents (who care for foster kids) can shop for school supplies for their foster kids. Church members donate the school supplies.There were so many of the items on the donation list that are currently on sale. $127 bought the following: 1 Llama backpack, 30 Elmers glue, 2 boxes of Elmers glue stick (30 per box), 30 boxes of 24 count Crayola crayons, 5 packs of wide rule filler paper, 30 boxes of pencils (12 per box), 30 dual pencil sharpeners and 30 1-subject spiral notebooks.Shout out to Santiago, Dana and Kyle (cashier) for helping me shop and have a great first shopping experience at this store! #excellentcustomerserviceI signed up for the rewards program but will need to look further to better understand the details.Will likely be back to shop for more!

Pam was great at the register. Store was well stocked and had everything I needed. Between Lowe’s and a Dick’s Sporting Goods. Close to many other stores and restaurants. Fairly easy access from the I-10.

So I received a printer as a gift. Nice, but the performance of the EPSON ECO-TANK ET 3710 was pitiful. At least for my personal application it was far beyond Sub-Standard. It was purchased @ the only Staples in SA. After my experience there I now fully understand why there is only one of these stores left in San Antonio. It also makes sense to put jt in a very affluent part of town. Where people just go to what is closest w/not a care of staff or price, much less customer service.So here you go.I called them & spoke to Mason, a Mgr there. I explained the situation, that being that this printer was a gift ; the person who bought it was currently out of town on a business & did not have the receipt w/them. I was furthermore told to not bother them w/such until they got back . So I explained this to Mason & he assured me in no uncertain terms that he himself would handle it even if jt was past the 14 day policy. This was great I can go & do it as an exchange (he said) & pick out another printer to swap for. This was great news...until it wasnt.My first 35mile round trip he was otw out, but assured me it would be OK, he would handle it just come back. ..so I did & he was off that day. I explained to another 20yr old kid/Mgr the situation. He, instead of speaking to Mason called someone else. Mind you it was brought back to the store fully intact as if never used. This kid then tried to exain to ne that all he could do was swap out for another of the same model. What in the world this would accomplish I still have no idea. It wasnt broken or missing anything, it just fell on its face performance wise to me. Another of the same would do nothing to fix it.So I then went in a 3rd time. It was 11;30 when I arrived & was told Mason would be in in 1 hour. So I wait. I wait for an hour & 15 min before Mason is seen. He is apparently late & not near as excited to see me..& the printer. So I approach him & I can already tell that things have apparently changed. He finally acknowledges me & says he can do NOTHING w/out a receipt . This ofcourse I do not have, but that was understood from the junp, nothing new there.So there u have it.their Manager lied to my face & did nothing but cost ne gas, time & some other negative feelings. If these kid Managrr would not have lied flat out to me & said it would be no problem watsoever I would have had another printer days ago & could get back to work.I could have purchased another printer ELSEWHERE & avoided this nonsense & this mess Mason created by leading me on w/such. So I went home, posted it on Marketplace @ a deep discount & dumped it in less than 3 min. So that trash pri tee is out of my life. I will intact w/ out hesitation be @ OFFICE MAX here in a couple hours to purchase a costly printer from them.Staples can rest assured that my, my families, my parents & all my friends will know of this & will not spend another cent @ any of these lying, time wasting, non helpful stores so long as I have a breath to take. So yall sold me a pos printer, & found a way to stick me w/their junk. Cool yall keep that 3hun, but I assure you tbT via this post, word of mouth & my necessity to make you feel it...Hopefully it will cost your store thousands. Hope it was worth it Mason of Staples.The only reason I gave them a single star is b/c I dont think I can leave nothing.This place, the Managment & the words that come out of their mouths belong in the dumpster where they came from. Their customer service in my case was borderline theft as due to purchasing this at around 335$ & selling it @ 150$ I lost too. Do yourself a favor, go to OFFICE DEPOT, OFFICE MAX or BEST BUY. AVOID TBESE JIVE TURKEY AT ALL COST! And remember, you cannot believe all their Managment says, that now is blatantly apparent. Thanks again Mason pathetic job handling this personally as you assured me you would do.

I love Staples. Started our love affair over 20 years ago in New Jersey. Always we trained, enthusiastic staff ready to help and you never feel rushed. Not the feeling you have at other big-box office supply chains.The Rim Staples store did not disappoint. I wish I would have got the greeters name, he was very helpful.Now can we have a Staples in New Braunfels or closer than the Rim.

Let me start by saying I wish I could zero stars. I am a loyal staples shopper but my experience today is going to change that. Employee was not sympathetic to their error and said that it was too much effort to scan the merchandise to ensure their clearance was properly tagged. Then I call to speak to the manager that was there today and she wasnt any better. The item was in clearance with many others but no price on the item. When at the register its regular price and she said that it pretty much wasnt my problem. She asked me what I wanted her to do, I said how about to give the clearance price. She said its not clearance so what should I pay for it. Then says she wasnt being sarcastic and became argumentative rather than just owning the experience. I couldnt believe it.

I had a problem with a calendar I buy every year at this store. Santiago and the staff at the copy center and one of the floor employees even were involved in helping me resolve my issue. Also they have great pricing on their copies. My marketing supplier couldn’t beat them! Highly recommend this place for your office needs!!!!

10/10 experience. Entire staff is friendly and helpful!I went in to Staples to buy a new chair on Monday. First of all, they had a great selection of chairs on display, unlike some other local office supply stores. I found one I liked and proceeded to check out. I was a little worried about carrying it by myself, so I asked if someone could help me out with it. I said I didn’t need it right away, and the lady said they could order it from the store and they’d ship it to me the next day! She was very nice and helpful and got an order placed for me, the whole thing took like 2 minutes.Unfortunately, the next day I got an email from Staples saying that my item was unavailable for delivery and that they were sending me a refund. When I called the store to see what was going on, I again talked to 2 friendly and professional staff members who were able to fix it for me. They didn’t transfer my call all over the place like most companies do nowadays, Mason called the distribution people himself and immediately called me right back with a solution. I was able to come in the next day and get the chair for the same sale price that was listed on Monday. Zero hassle at all!When I came back to get the chair, again everyone I interacted with was great. Really 10/10 customer service. They got everything taken care of and even wheeled the chair out to my car for me. I was in the store for maybe 5 minutes.I am very impressed with the store, selection, and especially the fantastic customer service. I will definitely be shopping at Staples again in the future.

WORST SERVICE EVER! Avoid this store. Bought a leather chair on Tuesday was told it would be delivered Thursday. Called Friday to find out where my chair was. Was told after a 10+ minute hold their customer service had cancelled my order. HELLO do you think they should have called ME to tell ME they cancelled my order? Now they tell me Ill have a full refund by Monday AT the latest. They should have credited me ASAP! Worst experience ever horrible follow through. DO NOT RECOMMEND! AVOID at all cost!

Amazing customer service! I sent in an order to be printed with my sons birthday invitations. I messed up some of the options online for what I wanted, and a lady from the printing department called me to double checked if I wanted my sons invitations printed on poster board sized paper. Which of course I did not. I really appreciate such wonderful customer service. I love Staples!

Quite a difference from my last visit last year.Great customer experience! From the phone call, to my visit at the store, to my prints.Rebecca was friendly and courteous on the phone and sounded like she WANTED to help.Anthony was able to expedite my prints and ensure the right recommendations and changes were made for a quality print. He was super swamped but maintained his composure in taking care of everyone in line in a professional and timely manner.Thank you both! Ill be back for our next set of prints!

I went in to self service print a legal document. Tried to print and it didn’t work. The girl at the counter said “it’s tedious by you have to click on every document attachment to print it.” Then she said I can print it here and I agreed. When, after quite a long while, she figured out her own system and printed my documents out in what looked like a cursive comic sans. A LEGAL document that was checked multiple times was attached in times new Roman. “This is how it looks on the screen” is all I was repeatedly told. Why in the world would a legal document be in such a ridiculous font? It was not that way in any attached form nor when I checked. I had to pay just to throw away the useless documents and the hipster girl at the counter couldn’t have been any more clueless as to how inconvenient this was not did she offer to fix a mistake that was obviously the fault of her own system. Go to OFFICE DEPOT instead. They do it right the first time!

Gone are the fast service days. I used to have PECS for my nonverbal son laminated there while I wait. It doesnt take long and its done. Last week I went there and I was told to wait for AT LEAST 3 hours. I decided to just go back some other day. Wrong decision. I should have left the pictures so I could pick them up the next time I go there because today when I got there, I was told the same thing: WAIT FOR AT LEAST 3 hours because there are people ahead of me who dropped their things to be done too. Im wondering how long is their backlog? Because if its daily, shouldnt they at least think about hiring an additional staff? Or maybe a high-performing one who can at least come to you outright and not make you wait even if theres nobody in the line but you. Just venting. The staff used to be good.

Used to go here for all of my copies. I am a local veteran and never had the negative customer service that I have received here. The copy manager has multiple times communicated to me that she was too busy to assist with the copies and asked me to use the self serve. It obvious that they are too busy to provide good customer service to their customers. I will not be doing my business here anymore. UPS at the rim is very friendly and is more efficient at providing copy and print needs.

Didnt exactly feel welcome. Sure we got there a little late but they turned off most of the lights over a half an hour before the store closed. The guys says it was automatic.... Sure. Wow. I really couldnt make any decisions or see anything i wanted. So we left. Thank you guys you made our decision for us. We left.

As an ex employee, and also an ex customer, i have got to experience everything about this toxic place. Dont shop, or work here. Customer service sucked. And the manager edward has an extremely pretentious attitude towards people. Most of their items are junk and they try to oversell the useless warranties. Wont be going back. Go to best buy on the other side of The Rim instead. Save money, better stuff.

Unfriendly and unprofessional staff. I wouldnt recommend shopping or deciding to work here. I received a call from Edward on Monday for an in person interview on Wednesday, which was confirmed by me. Edward didnt provide any information as to what the address was for this location, so I had to look it up myself. The interview was supposed to be with Edward. When I arrived, I asked for him, and a guy by the name of Jaime said let me see if hes here. He went into another room, came back out and said that Edward had left early for the day and that he could see if the assistant manager was there to interview me ( the assistant manager wasnt there either). Jaime then said that he would leave a note, and that Edward would call me in order to reschedule an interview at a later date. I have yet to receive a call back or an apology for inconveniencing me and not letting me know that he wouldnt be present to interview me.
