We have been with Unifirst for 13 years. Their service and drivers are far superior to their competitors. I have recommended them to other companies whenever possible. Their sales team listens and will actually meet with you in person. This is what all uniform companies should aspire to achieve.

We are very glad that Erin showed up at our business. We had been with the same company for years until their buyout. Once the new company took over we had poor service and could never get clothes. Going through the process and setting us up with everything we need. Dealing with them has been very easy and straight forward. New clothes all fit great and everyone is happy.Thank you.

Well...Where to start. I have owned several business over the past 15 years and had worked with Cintas, as well as Aramark, and even a short while with GK, so i have had plenty of experiences with these services. I can say anybody thats praising this company has an attachment in some way or has been paid.I recently picked up ownership in a new venture that has a previous contract with Unifirst. Every month for the past 2 years we have never been able to get what we needed from them, and when we do its not what we wanted and or just a carpet that should have been retired a year ago. We have been without disinfectant for the past 2 months! Today my driver came in and with out any warning took all of our cleaning supplys in front of customers claiming we owed them money from a few years back before I even owned it. THIS WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF THE BLUE?? As the new owner (For the past 3 years lol) I was UN a ware of a past balance and in 3 years it was never even mentioned. I have had no contact with any reps telling me of the issue and every month the bill was paid, oh and not once has my driver ever mentioned this to me....NOT ONCE. Im not sure what team they provide that I heard on the 45 min hold message. Today my extremely UN-professional driver showed up, did this and couldnt even given a breakdown or invoice of why?? Just a number that takes u to a corporate call center somewhere back east. I have no problem paying a balance if it is owed but what happened her today was to say the least was disturbing. There was no fight just complete shock. I called the number he gave me and after 45 min on hold a rep told me how wrong this was and that someone would call me within the hour from my local market (SLC, UT)......That was 4 hours ago and I am now going home, and have no intention s of continuing to work with this UN-professional company. Not sure what Unifirst is up too or who dropped the ball as they seam to be a mess and impossible to get a hold of. Someone screwed up here by not reaching out to notify us of any past issue. (I mean 3 YEARS people???) Not sure what caused this tyraid today. My guess is someone screwed up internally and rather than owning it just asked the driver to collect. I dont know?? I mean we were prepared to pay the balance of course but with out us even knowing he took stuff out of our business and left us having to go to Home depot to get through the night... Again we have paid every month and the only reason there was a past balance was due to the auto billing stopping twice for no reason. Even have an email stating it was there fault given to me from the prior owner, but this still happened today to a small business fighting to work though a pandemic.lol. They are suppose to be a partner to help small business, not hurt it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a different company if you are in the market.I see a lot of comments about how these guys saved there businesss money, etc, ( these are folks that are either paid or have an attachment to this business because I dont know anybody that raves about any of these services, as there always problematic if you run business that requires them. I will say When I was with Cintas this would have never happened, and I would have had a rep who visits me monthly and stays in contact rather than a rude driver who has no business being in public. looking forward to fixing the issue ASAP and dedicating as much as I can to sharing this story when my other investors and associates to hopefully steer consumers away from such a poor service. If I could give negative stars I would... The company I am with used them for years, however, when I became their office manager I noticed how horrid this company was! I immediately started making notes and gathering evidence so that we could get out of contract with them! They overcharged us, they added things to our invoice that we werent receiving. Trying to add on new employees to order new clothes from them was a complete and total joke. It took OVER 3 months to get their clothes and they added it on to the invoice before delivering their clothes. Trying to work with this company is a complete joke.

Ive worked for this company for almost 2 years. Its an awesome place to work, with great people! Im sorry to see that there are a few people on here that have had some billing issues, or delays, but I can tell you that this company truly puts customers first, and the staff works diligently on any, and all issues that come up.

Recently started using Unifirst service for uniforms. My rep. was Kevin. Service has been great. Uniforms are very nice. Plan on hiring more employees soon and will be ordering more uniforms. They also supply my shop towels. Driver arrives like clockwork. I am very happy with their service.

I cant believe how bad these guys are. I am stuck in a contract and have been trying to work with them for over a year now to get things right. There uniforms are just bad, fit, quality and look. The management is unreasonable and hard to get in contact with. I have been trying to get a buy out price for months and cant even get that.

The driver Clint is very very good along with Paul the district manager. They will take care of any issues in a timely manner and i am always treated very well. Our company decided to go with a mat service for our office. We contacted several companies locally, ultimately we decided to go with UniFirst. They had the best pricing and I was impressed with the Sales Rep. G. Nate Johnson. It took a couple of weeks for us to get set-up on a delivery route and for our mats to come in (one was customized with our company logo) in the mean time Nate, went above and beyond and personally delivered some temporary mats to us. Once we were scheduled on a route our delivery driver is great, hes friendly, professional and efficient. We have received emails and phone calls not only from Nate but also someone in the Customer Service department to make sure that product and service are up to our expectations. To date, we are extremely satisfied and feel that we made the right choice going with UniFirst. Thank you Nate & the UniFirst Team!

I have been with all the major uniform companies in the past. Without question Unifirst has far better drivers and customer service. I am a mechanic and have 11 employees who wear uniforms. Unifirst consistently repairs and returns all uniforms each week. This is important to my company.

Horrible company to do business with... Go with anyone else! I called to place an order (weve been long standing customers) as usual, the person taking the order states she will have the items delivered by Last Friday. Well fast forward to a week later no delivery and when I call in the lady says oh we cancelled your account a long time ago. I guess they werent going to bother to let us know why, when and she felt it was acceptable that I should just have to wait forever for my items and no one needed to let me know they never intended to deliver. What a horrible way to treat customers, and thats why I am no longer one of theirs.

We first contacted UniFirst and a rep came out within a couple days to show us what they had available. We were able to select the uniforms we wanted. I told the rep I wasnt sure on the size of one of my guys. He told me he would bring me some samples. About a month later I had a sample dropped off but it was for the wrong person. Then I didnt hear anything from anybody for about 5 months. I was then contacted by another rep in which he came out to complete the order. I told him the same thing, that we needed samples to try on. Next thing I knew about 1 1/2 month later I the uniforms were delivered. One of the sizes were still wrong. I had to guess and it took 2 weeks before they finally brought it to me. And on top of that they wanted me to pay for it even when the order was wrong. We have been getting the uniforms now for about 4 months and they finally stopped billing me for the screw up. Our delivery day is Tuesday and sometimes I have to leave the dirties on my doorstep because they are delivered to my home and they are still sitting there and its Wednesday. I dont know what happened to our driver yesterday. On top of that we have been getting some of our uniforms with crusted on detergent on them and the first couple pair of pants had paint on them from the last guy. We may be looking for another service.

We had to terminate our account due to their failure to provide the agreed upon services. We are a very small company and now they are tying to hurt us in a major way. Anyone else that has had them try to harm your business after canceling them I would love to hear from you.

If I could give this a zero star, I would. I ordered uniforms for my very small company, I was told It would take about 2-4 weeks to receive. I receive an email about a week after I placed my order to aprove the logo on the uniforms. A month after that I still had not received anything from the sales rep so I emailed him terminating our contract because I was in need of the uniforms and decided to find someone else who would provide what I needed. He got back to me and said it would take about 4-6 weeks from when the logo was approved. It is now past the six weeks and I have not received a phone call, email, mail, personal drop in, or a pigeon carrying a letter stating when I would receive my order. Very unprofessional would not recommend them to anyone.

UniFirst is not good for the small business. I needed uniforms for two technicians, we also get a piece of carpet and some rags for $200.00 a month. That is $12,000.00 for the five year term you have to agree to, not including the annual increases. The salesman did not inform me of the total monthly cost with all the additional fees or the annual increase. The management has not been helpful at all. I would not have every signed up had I known it would be this bad.

The service team for this location is awesome. No company is perfect but UniFirst SLC is pretty darn close. If there are problems their CSRs are on the ball and make sure they get fixed. Make you feel like family no matter how big or small your company is. Also Unifirst has great quality garments that are comfortable and durable.

If you like to not be listened to and taken advantage of this is the place for you! After dealing with them personally for almost 4 years we fired them, they will never get your order right, they will double and triple charge you for services not received, if you change your order quantities it will never show up right, every other week you have a new driver, thier own employees cant stand them! They illegaly crossed out and modify our contract for the minimum stop order, and the contract was a renewal we signed that they never full filled then they sued us for $5000 ! I could go on with stories for days of how terrible this company is, my theory, I have worked with other companies that do not require a contract, they dont need a contract because you LOVE thier service, the only way these guys stay in business is because they legally lock people in to a contract! I PROMISE YOU after your first week of working with them you will want to quit! But guess what..... You cant you are locked in! Run as far away from this company as you can !!!

Update: Ive decided that Unifirst does well depending on the delivery driver. We have still been using Unifirst after my first initial review, and glad to report that they have improved in many areas. I give this credit to our delivery rep. Rob. He seems to do a great job at looking over his orders, and getting stuff to us in a timely manner. Changed to a 4 star**** (first review 1star)****Literally the worst of the worst! They just cant seem to get their stuff together. I am one of those kinds of people that know life isnt perfect, and I expect some issues to happen occasionally. But this place, has me on one of my last nerves. I dont feel like they truly care about their customers.. everyone is just a paycheck. They know that they have you by the b$%ls with that contract. DO NOT, I repeat... DO NOT go with Unifirst. You have been warned. Anyone is better, you take your pick... You will not get even close to what you pay for. Extremely disappointed in them.

So dishonest and unprofessionalSales rep told us no contract.We used for a year and found WAY better coats and service from Cintas.We asked UniFirst to come pickup their awful coats in October 2017. We continued to receive weekly invoices even though the driver stopped coming and he said hed pick up the coats eventually. We continued to receive invoices and we wrote back every time in big bold letters to please stop invoicing us since the service was stopped and to PLEASE come pick up their awful coats. After two or three times of this we got a call from a gal at Unifirst that said that it was all handled and there is nothing to worry about. This is sometime in December/January.Then we get an email in April 2018 that says that they found a contract and that we cant stop service.We told them we were done with the service in October 2017 and to come get their stuff. We communicated with them several times in writing and in phone calls over the next couple of months until the bills stopped coming and they called and said that it was all resolved.My guess is that Unifirst is going broke or they started a new incentive program to try to fraudulently rip money out of honest businesses.I call Shawn Lund to sent me an awful scan of some paper I cant read and tells me that because this paper exists Im under contract with Unifrst for 60 months. I have attached the contract so everyone can see what a joke it is. The front page is a QUOTE SHEET with hand written prices next to service items. Our guy signed it at the bottom. The sales rep leaves taking with him his signed quote sheet. Guess what? Unifirst is saying that there is a back to that quote sheet and on the back there is fine print that says we are under contract for 60 months. 5 YEARS contracted out with a TERRIBLE company that uses dishonest, immoral sales tactics to trick companies in to being stuck with them for 5 years because their service and products would NEVER keep customers that long.I call Shawn Lund, our new manager to discuss. After all of our prior notice about cancelling the service and sending them letters back with big notes on them to please stop invoicing us for services not rendered and to PLEASE come get their stuff so we stop storing them Shawn looks through the notes and agrees that there is no way Unifirst could ever try to enforce that joke of a contract. He says that he will talk to his manager and see if he can get it resolved (again a Unifirst person is going to resolve this same account I guess) and call me back. No call back of course. 6 weeks later I get a letter at my house from a law office whose name is, no joke, Crook and Taylor Law office informing me that Unifirst is coming after us for $41,868.74 for ‘breach of contract’. The best part of this letter is that $8,617 of that amount is THE SAME ITEMS WE’VE BEEN ASKING UNIFIRST TO PICKUP FOR 7 MONTHS! The big brains behind this joke of a company must be starving for oxygen. Ive sent them back a note itemizing the standard storage fees for their garbage weve been storing for them for 7.5 months and asked them to bring a check for $890 and well release their garbage they stuck us with.On June 11 Shawn Lund, the new manager with something to prove, tells me that they have nothing in writing from us ever asking them to stop the service and that makes it so they can try to milk a ton of unearned money from us for ZERO services rendered. I dont know if they throw their mail away when they get it when it is inconvenient to have, seems to fit the rest of the way they operate.Long story short, were fighting these crooks. Look at the joke of a contract attached. Im sure theyve managed to figure out that something like that would never stand up in court. Weve never seen this supposed back of the page before as it NEVER LEFT THEIR SALES REPS HAND.Very disappointed to have this kind of dinosaur relic of a service company that doesnt understand service and fraudulently tricks people in to being stuck with them.Go anywhere but Unifirst

Started using Unifirst at the gym I was working at. Spencer is our sales rep! Not only did he sell us some amazing product BUT Spencer was always there when I had questions. He came and installed the equipment and showed us how to instal and change out all the product. Unifirst and Spencer is the way to go!
