Wayne was amazing in helping me find the perfect bike for my needs! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, friendly and professional. Before jumping the gun, I did go to other bike shops had different models in my size that I could test out, but I came back to Fishers because I felt more of a connection and more at ease in the hands of Wayne and the staff. (Plus, the bike I really wanted in my heart was at Fishers.) You will not be disappointed with the service and knowledge these folks have to offer! They’re great at what they do. :)

I stopped in on April 30th to pick up some tubes shocked to see a going out of business sale. I guess the owner of the building got an offer he couldnt refuse. Wayne is the man! His shop will be missed! It didnt matter if you had a bike from 1980, or the latest S-works with red etap he treated you the same. This is the best shop in ALL of Salt Lake! NO EGOS, just an honest man with a good work ethic, and love of bikes

I went to a few reputable stores in the area only to be told their workshops were backed up and my e bike probably needed a new motor and drive chain. Quoted costs escalating quickly and following advise to buy a new one, I was shopping for a new ride and decided to pop into this store.Wayne took a look and fiddled for a few mins and sorted this issue right on the spot.He refused to take any money so I though the least I can do is write about my experience. Thanks Wayne!!!

Fishers is the place to go if you want quality and great customer service for a reasonable price. My partner and I have been coming to Fishers for the past 4 years and purchased three bikes from them. They also handle all of our repairs and tune-ups. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. Their prices are reasonable and their work is excellent. Giant bikes are wonderful not much different than the other brands, less expensive, great rides and durable. Fishers is all around the best bike shop I have visited in Salt Lake.

I stumbled into the shop a few weeks ago to ask some questions about getting into mountain biking and possibly repairing an old bicycle which I thought was a lost cause, but adore. Wayne was extremely generous. Such an awesome guy! He spent a lot of time helping me learn about bikes I thought looked rad and put me through the process of repairing my old bike. I appreciate the honest, no pressure advice. These guys repaired my bike for close to nothing. Its riding better than I could have dreamed! Something that really stands out to me is how much they were concerned with what was best for me. Whether that was selling me a new bike, or helping me decide what I really wanted. I look forward to stopping by in the future!

The customer service is amazing! I bought a bike here over 5 years ago. Unfortunately, that bike was recently stolen and I didnt have the serial number. I called and they went to a decent amount of trouble to track down my purchase. Thanks to the staff at Fishers my bike was recovered and returned to me today!!!They didnt benefit from helping me. In fact, now I dont need to buy a new bike from them. But they were super nice and helpful and I owe them a big one!

I bought my bike in winter because it was on sale. So far so good. The warranty and service plan seems good but I havent used either so Im just going off of how they look on paper. I think it is something like free tune ups for a year and a discount on products you buy in house.Update- have had my bike now for over a year. These guys are great. They have fixed up small things here or there for free. Ive come in with other things, like my bike trainer and theyve done work on those things as well. One of the best shops in town, hands down.

Thank you so much Wayne and Fishers Cyclery for all of your help. Wayne went above and beyond helping me pick out a bike, tune it, fit is exactly to my body, give me priceless knowledge, a years worth of free tune ups, 20% off any accessories for 2 weeks afterwards, and just honestly being so nice and understanding to my newness to the sport. The guy at Bicycle Center literally laughed in my face when i questioned things about the bike fit that i honestly had no clue about. Thank you Wayne!

We live in Salt Lake City, we have been biking for many, many years, and we are now a frumpy older couple. We have used other bike shops in the Sugarhouse area, to our dismay for one reason or another. A few years ago, we decided to try Fishers Cyclery just south of the 2100 South Smiths in Sugarhouse, and we have been so tickeled with the work they do and their prices. They put new gear shifters on my bike, and for $50, I have like a new bike! They put new back gears and a new chain on my husbands bike recently, for around $50, and he has like a new bike too! Each time they work on our bikes, we have our bikes back within 24 hours, which is very important to us, as we ride daily. I didnt have to wait for days/weeks before getting my bike. They are nice and helpful, and they dont try to tell me that I need to buy a brand new bike, like other bike shops. And their prices are very reasonable. One time, I came to the store with a defective tube without a receipt, that I may even have bought from another store, yet the manager, without hesitation, exchanged the tube out. Another time, my husband wanted a new bike seat, and Wayne told him which seat to buy, and my husband was looking at other seats but hesitantly followed Waynes advice. Which turned out to be perfect. My husband truly loves his new bike seat. I tell my friends and family about Fishers Cyclery because we have been very happy with their service and prices. Excellent job, guys. We will keep coming back. John/Judy Ledkins

After weeks of bike shopping/research, I bought my first road bike from Fishers Cyclery today! The shop and staff are awesome! They gave me an excellent deal on a bike, and were also very knowledgeable and helpful. They fitted me properly to the bike, and made any/all adjustments needed. Also, they tune every bike before it leaves the store! I could tell they value their customers and treat them very well! After I left, I went for a 15 mile ride, and my Giant rode beautifully. Disappointed, on many levels.I purchased a road bike from these guys and I frequent the store, I have a lot of experience here, but I will not go again. Im sad to say that it is going down hill fast. They overcharge for a basic tuning, $55! You can get the same job done across the street at Guthrie for $35. They are insulting and belittling over the phone, so dont ever bother calling. When I asked why they charged me $55 for a fitting, I was told they charged $35 10 years ago, in a very demeaning way. When i did pick up my bike, the gears are still slipping. So I basically paid to be insulted.Go somewhere else. Save yourself a few bucks and a lot of hassle.UPDATE ----Wayne from Fishers called me after reading my review and told me they stand by their work and to bring my bike back in. I did, he tweaked it on the spot.If you work with Wayne youll get service.

Diappointed. With all the positive reviews, I took my bike in to have my flats repaired. They did those right, but I got back a bike with the rear wheel misaligned and one of the back brakes stuck. I had to have a friend come over and do the adjustments to my brake after he realigned the rear wheel. They successfully diagnosed my kickstand failure and installed a new one, but while the old one was too short, this one is slightly long. It at least stands upright IF I position the bike correctly Friendly, reasonable, got the work done in less than a day.

These guys are great!! I have been bringing my bikes to Fisher for over 12 years. I bought my first full suspension bike from them in 2003 (Rocky Mtn./ Element). They did all of my tune-ups on that bike. Eventually a my rear shock gave out because of a manufactures defect. They helped me get a new shock from the manufacture on warranty. When the front shock took a turn for the worse they rebuilt it at a reasonable price.I have since upgraded to a Yeti SB95. I bought my current bike from another shop in Sandy (sorry guys) they made me an offer I couldnt refuse. However when it came time for repairs and regular maintenance I didnt think twice about where to bring my bike.My experience with the guys at Fisher is always positive and their turn around time is amazingly quick (for general repairs they have never had my bike more than two days). I usually work with Wayne. I find that he is the voice of reason the shop sage. I defer to his expertise before going off and doing my own repairs or making unnecessary purchases.Willie who works primarily in the shop and has decades of bike experience has done the past two tune-ups on my bike. The bike is running better than ever!! Thanks Willie. I just got off the Wasatch crest trail without any hiccups. My suggestion is to develop positive relationship with these guys and let them do their job. They are honest, hardworking, and passionate about biking. Keep up the good work guys! Thanks.

I went to these guys because a part was stollen off my bike. I was hoping they would have a used part or could at least point me the right way. I needed an air valve for rear shock i saw a mechanic pull out a box of used parts and i saw a shock with a valve very close to mine but then it was close to closing and they just acted like they didnt want to waste their time to help me for a used part so they came back and just said, sorry man we dont have one that will fit all we have is fox not what u have, but good luckMan i was upset i did a few days later go to a competitor in the area and they took the time looked on the manufactures web sight tried to find the part then not only looked in their used parts but they also carried fox, so at this second shop they tried a fox valve and low and behold it worked great. Thanks for nothing guys, not only did u have the part and lied but u had it twice.I did pay for the valve and while i was at their competitor i also got a new set of tires and a front derailer, and when i do replace my bike which will be soon i know where i will be going and it is not to this bike shop.Dont go here unless u r buying a new bike they dont like helping people that want to replace parts.

I have been in this shop a few times now simply because of its close proximity to my old house. Not friendly at all. The prices are about average on parts. The mountain bike mechanical performance knowledge is limited to every mechanic that I have met there including the owner. The owner is cheap and hires young guys for close to minimum wage that only understand the basics of bike mechanics. The last time that I went there I bought a new rear brake cable and a snack from these guys. I quickly installed the cable in the parking lot and I couldnt cut the excess of the cable off with my cheap leatherman so I went back in and asked the owner if he would cut off the excess for me. He told me that he would have to charge me to cut it (as an installation charge) and he wouldnt let me use his tool for two seconds to do it myself. If this is how the owner of the shop treats his returning customers then I do not want to give any more money to this company. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. If you need a bike shop in the immediate vicinity then I would recommend going right up the street to guthrie on 800 east and just north of 2100 south OR for the absolute best shop in the valley go to flynn cyclery in holladay.
