Some of yall need to learn patience and kindness. I see how busy these people are and they give their best attention to each customer. Wait times are long regardless. Be patient and they will serve you.

In total, I have bought 4 guns from this location. 2 hand guns, 1 shotgun and 1 bolt action rifle. Most of them being special order, high end weapons. With that said, I have had nothing but great experiences here. Is the wait long... yes! But what gun store isn’t right now? Good luck getting into any gun store in less than an hour wait in most cases. I support local business and overall, this is one of the best gun stores in Riverside. Just get quicker or hire more people and I’d give you 10 stars. Lol

Went to the Riverside location for ammo and could not believe the lack of professionalism they showed. Rude and condescending when I asked a simple question. I could feel the vibe like I was bothering them as if they had more important issues to deal with. I wont be returning and suggest others find a different gun store to shop at.

The “manager” at the Riverside store has no common sense whatsoever so make sure when you sign in that the list has an open line on the sign-in sheet. If it doesn’t and you’ve signed in on the bottom, but it’s not on a line because nobody took the time to add additional empty sign-in sheets so that one can sign on a line you have to sign lower down on the list despite having already waited 45-90 minutes. And your wait will continue until baby-boy “manager” has gotten over his tantrum because you did nothing more than question the stupidity of getting bumped down the list because he can’t keep enough sign-in sheets for the adult customers.

Much like a previous reviewer, Do Not Waist Your Time here! This dealer severely mismanages the staff and increased demand in ammunition and firearms. On two different occasions in the last two weeks, the wait here with 9 people in front on the waitlist, the wait has taken 2.5+ hours to get to the front of the line. The sales personnel frequently allows a single person to spend more than an hour at a time browsing. They also allow people who are not buying ammunition or firearms to cut the line and go in and shop before those on the waitlist. Also, be aware that if you have already purchased and are picking up, you’ll have to also wait in line on the waitlist. I suggest going to a Big5 Tuesday mornings when they have inventory and specially assigned personnel to purchase ammunition, shorter waiting and quicker service. If you need and armory for firearms absolutely go to another place. Icing to the experience is the attitude of the personnel.

Buying a gun should not be as difficult as California gun laws. The woman that attempted to help me should not work in a gun store. She didnt know her product. She she also needs work on her customer service skills and could be more friendly, and try to show some interest. I understand covid protocol better than most. Ammo Bros could benefit a inservice about handling items at their store and disinfecting. I dont think I will buy anything from this merchant in the future.

This store is ridicules. I went in to check out and purchase some items, they had 2 customers in the store. The lady tells me I have to wait for 2 hours minimum as they have a line. I look around and seen no line, so I get added to the list. So Im around the corner at the mall, trying to pass time. When I get a call back for my appointment, I let her know Im at the mall, and I be there in 10 mins. She said she can only wait 5 min max. Wasted 2 and a half hours of my life

The people working in the counter have horrible customer service even to people in the military that know what they’re talking about.

Only go if youve got 3+ hours to waste. Ever hear of an appointment? Good luck trying to call ahead of time, no one picks up. You have to shown up and put your name on a list and wait for them to call you to come in. When they finally call you in, each transaction takes over an hour. If youre that busy and dont know how to process transactions just make it by appointment only and stop wasting our time.

Smooth transaction. There is a wait but its no big deal given the current conditions. Selection Cali wide is almost non-existent everywhere. Good on them for following protocols.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! I just left the Riverside location after waiting 45 min after checking in, (due to them only have one person working) the person behind me gets called, I ask the guy calling people when would i be called? he said my name was not on the list too bad. i have made multiple purchases of firearms and ammo here and will never walk in that place again. I will be telling all my friends and family to shop somewhere else like Bullseye Or even Turners!!!

A while back my friend paid for a rifle and ask the salesman if the rifle he was looking at was the actual one he was getting and the salesman said yes so he started his dros and when he went to pick it up they told him they didn’t have it anymore and the same salesman denied telling him that was the actual rifle he’d be getting until he showed him the Receipt with the salesman name on it. They said they would order him another one but weren’t sure when they would get it . I was with him both times . I tell people go there as a last resort

I have attempted to enter the store three times as of now, and not only have I never even set foot inside of the place, but their ammunition selection is absolutely garbage, they are very terse and come off a little impatient, and they are CONSTANTLY backed up.If you NEED to handle your firearm business immediately and no one else is available (ex: Ammo Bros is one of the few firearm & firearm products distributors open on Mondays), then pray to God they have what you need and check them out. Just be prepared to wait an exceptionally long while and get really unenthused customer service from the guys at the desk.My advice? Stick to ANYONE else. I like Warrior One because, even with the ammo shortage, they manage to carry ammo like 9mm and 5.56 consistently, and if they dont have any they will update you on when theyre expecting it.

Too long of process just to get in the store.First you have to wait in line outside for at least 30 minutes in the hot son. to get inside the door to give your name and phone number so they can call you to enter the store???You only have 5 minutes to show up after calling you or will lose your spot??Otherwise you have to wait near by.After a long long wait Left and want to Turner.Do not recommend.

My recent visit I had the good luck of being help by Art.He was very knowledgeable and made my buying experience stress free. Worst place ever. Check reviews before you buy online. They don’t answer phones, answer emails, nor follow up to let you know that you item has come in. I hear that you have to go in in person to follow up if you bought something and wait two hours in line to ask about your order. Who has time for this kind of shenanigans. I ended up getting it elsewhere for $20 more (well with it).

All these cry babies giving bad reviews over something out of their control...Ive purchased a handgun a rifle and ammo during different visits within the last couple of months and never had an issue(other gun stores didnt have it in stock btw)...yeah theres some time to wait but they call you and give you 10 min window to show up to purchase whatever it may be youre looking for...most likely its the customers bad attitude due to the waiting list that makes them feel employees have bad customer service...I disagree...these guys are great...

Absolute worst customer service of ANY business of ANY kind that I’ve dealt with during the COVID19 crisis. Terrible problems communicating, they don’t call back, can’t leave a voice message as “voice mailbox is full”, they usually don’t answer emails or texts. They Lost my gun FOR SEVEN MONTHS!! I had to prove they lost my gun by pulling up FEDEX records showing the person who signed for my gun before they finally found it. They don’t follow through with any promises made - period. Mixed up Gun shipment records between their stores, I think this may be a violation of gun regulations in California! I would never set foot in on of their stores again but for one problem: they have one of my Tokarev pistols shipped to them months ago (I handled the gun in their Ontario store!). They shipped it from their Closed Riverside store to their open Ontario store and then shipped it back to the re-opened Riverside store and told me “we’ll call you when it gets there”. That has been weeks ago!! This is the second gun they have lost tract of this year. I think they are so focused on selling new firearms and making max profit that they have just abandoned ALL DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am certain that once things return to normal, their sloppy record keeping, negligent attitude towards regular clients and wretched attitude will really hurt their business badly. I, and many of the folks standing in line outside their stores trying to resolve problems developed due to their arrogant and negligent attitude with clients will never darken their door again. They make big box stores look like saints!

This is a scam, they took your money, even if they waited for you to get nothing, my goodness, let them close the door as soon as possible and dont hurt others.

Complete waste of my time. I made an appointment for 11am and made it on time and was told to wait outside, as soon as the next person was done Id be able to go in and sign paperwork. What has actually happened is Ive been waiting half an hour AFTER my appointment time and was skipped by someone who didnt have an appointment. Why even have apportionments then have? I have work and made the appointment when I thought Id have enough time to come in. Because of their complete disregard for mine and other peoples time ill probably have to reschedule

I love going to ammo Bros When Im there customer service is good And they have a pretty good selection of ammo As well as other merchandise . The only reason I gave it a 3 star is for their phone service Im not a big fan of calling and hearing someone pick up the phone and hang it up Not Just once but twice I understand they can be busy But a quick can you call back later please would have been OK with me.Other than that going there in person Has always been a pleasant experience The staff Are very knowledgeable And can answer most questions.

One of my favorite places. Was there a few years ago and had a not so great experience...all different now with the new management. Art, the new manager is awesome! The new website is a plus; able to view in store or view online...also, purchases are easy (in store or online).We love the Riverside location!!!!

They had 12 people lined outside the door for over an hour waiting to be let in, and just sent them home for closing time. Next time, please dont waste our time. Let us know that after x amount of time, only x amount of people will be let in.

I recently visited Ammo Bros in Riverside to start the DROS process on a pistol I purchased online. I was greeted when I walked in and was helped out by a very nice woman. The place is very nice and organized and had a good selection of firearms. I will be going to this Ammo Bros more in the future for Ammo and future firearm purchases. A+++ experience!

Current manager needs to hire more assistance to meet the new demand. Customers are roasting outside the store heat and once you go in the 3 people that work here are just chillen. 1 on computer, 1 attending and 1 on the back probably watching the people outside burning and sweating.

Sold me a brand new handgun. Paid $500 for it went and shot it for the 1st time and the gun had a major defect that caused it to fire when releasing trigger and would not reset trigger mechanism. Brought it back to them hoping they would provide me with the same amount of good service that they gave me when selling me the gun and they pretty much told me I was on my own and its no longer there problem once firearm leaves the store. Everyone please read their Return policies before purchasing here.

So truth be told I dont really care for riding reviews however on the way home I drove by this place and realize that I was low on ammunition and decided to stop by and pick up a couple of supplies not only did they take care of me as soon as I walked in the answered all my questions the guy was nice enough to show me what I was looking for and as if that wasnt enough on the way out I realize my starter on my car did not work they were nice enough to go outside and push start my car for me so I can go on my way home without having to call Triple A in my book these guys are pretty freaking cool I will for sure be coming back here

Great customer serviceI bought a sling and the mounting hardware for it. I told the guys how I wanted to carry my rifle and they piece out what was necessary to do what I wanted. I probably spent over an hour trying things out and all the staff was very helpful. I asked questions to whomever was available and they all where pretty cool.I asked them to install the stuff I bought and they did. Didn’t charge one extra buck and gave me EXACTLY way I asked for. Their prices are not fabulous but they are not outrageous either, they have a killer selection but the guys are very nice.If they treat all people the same, the owners should take care of them cuz they are worth keeping.Great experience at Ammo in Riverside and I would DEFINITELY go back there and buy more stuff.

Came in here with my husband to buy ammo and the sales associate was rude. My husband asked if they had military discount and the man said no because we are all the same and we are all civilians. My husband is a marine, we are not all the same. That man was rude and needs to get off his high horse. Then he debated about how much better California is, it is not.

My husbandand I frequent this place. We love it here!! Travis and Matt are who usually help us and are fantastic!! I saw a previous comment about race, but that is the farthest from the truth. In our experience, weve only had wonderful customer service. We highly recommend!!!

They have forever lost my business. I bought my wife a Ladys Smith 357 at the Costa Mesa gun show and of course its busy and we were passed off several times to various people until we finally got all the paperwork done. Id say I took about an hour from start to finish. Now the wait is on. The reason for the purchase was we were planning a range day trip of about eight friends up to some property in Campo and we were really excited to try out this new pistol. We had plenty of time to get the gun since we cod pick it up after the ten day hold. We get it Tuesday and we can get a new holster and a few other things so she can be comfortable with her new gun. Ten days comes and goes so we jump in the car and drive up to the Mira Mar store but when we get there they cant find the gun. Actually they cant even find the paperwork let alone the almost $800 gun. So about 40 minutes later we get the Ill call you tomorrow line. Well tomorrow comes and goes and still nothing. I waited another day and still got nothing. I call back and nobody knows what going on with the missing gun and paperwork. Well of course Im not real happy with the lack of customer service and so I start calling the other branches to try and get ahold of a manage or regional manager that can get me some answers. No one can help so I call the San Diego branch again and got some really nice guy that seemed to care and he promised me that someone would call me right away. That was the best service I received from this company. About five minutes later I got some guy with an attitude and very unapologetic call me and say he was the general manager. He said they were shorthanded and they didnt know were the gun was because it never got unloaded from the Costa Mesa gun show. He said all the paperwork was fine and the background check was good but the gun was sent to the Las Vegas Shot show. How does this happen? Yeah, just short handed, not sorry? Not what I wanted to hear. I get a call back from the one guy that was helpful and asked if I wanted to cancel the transaction but Id eat the almost $40 that goes to the state so I said no. He told me he would have the gun Monday and Id get a call when it came in. Of course we didnt get to take it to range day so theres that, and wouldnt you know it, no call on Monday. I finally called on Tuesday and had to explain everything again to the guy on the phone and he said bummer. Well yeah this has been a major bummer. My wife picked up the gun on Thursday since she was in the area and they offered her a 10% discount on ammo when she was there. Thats not how you fix this colossal screw up on your part. I was warned by several of my friends that have had their own bad experiences with ammo bros but I made the mistake of not listening. Listen to this, I will never use ammo bros again. One star for the guy that helped, thanks dude

Was buzzed in .. so they saw a customer come in. No one acknowledged me for 15 mins ! A new employee shows up and finally says he’ll be right with me. Didn’t get helped for another 20 mins . Not the best customer service I’ve had at a gun store.

So I bought over $1300 worth of ammunition for the past 3 weeks and I am a very good customer even tho I always feel unwelcome and they suck in customer service .. anyways just yesterday I bought a spring (cost $4.99) and couple of stuff but when I got Home I didn’t see it in the bag so I went back I told them that they must forgot to put the little spring in the bag (and to be honest I didn’t even see Them put it in the bag I just assumed that it was in the bag when I purchased it) So I explained everything to the manager “ART” and I told him I need another one and he stiffened up And said we cannot give you, you have to buy another one It was like an immediate answer with an attitude.. and the conversation went back-and-forth but they didn’t give me another one.The fact is I always buy ammunition and goods but they treated me bad for a $4.99 spring I actually wasted more gas coming back for this spring but if it was for me if I was the manager I would understand the issue and give the customer a new spring which it didn’t cost them more than 10 cent spring.It’s only a spring, I bought thousands of dollars worth of goods and they fail to give me what I paid for that they forgot to put it in the bag (I’m not asking to get the spring for free but since I bought it and it’s not in the bag they should gave me another one, I forgot the name of the manager but he was super rude for a $4.99 that it didn’t cast the company more than 10 cent wholesale price, that wasn’t fair manager is bad customer service is bad ripoffs I will never come back again.

Unbelievable, waited 4 hrs to do a standard transfer, understanding how busy they are with the a.r. stuff. Got up to the counter and started paperwork and was finished and the first sales guy says the next one will finish you up, another 30 minutes and I asked Josh in a very nice way, when we would be able to complete the forms ? he gave me a look and said do you see how busy we are and these people all have to be waited on, thats when we can finish your forms ..in disbelief I walked away and made my decision that i will never go back to do any business with them, somebody needs to put Mr Josh in check, they lost a customer that had planned to spend a lot more money there..

Matt, Travis and the rest staff made my first gun purchase go very smoothly. Matt and Travis were very friendly and helpful and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. This is a scam company, definitely dont visit this place dont buy theyre shetty stuff. Theyve tried to rip me off 200$ pretending that I want to cancel a contract. Ive brought all the legal papers that they asked and lost all day waiting to pick up a hunting gun. At the end of tha day I had nothing just a headache. Ill sue them and fill up a complain at the consumer protection

So far so good, easy environment. Got my FSC (very simple test, been shooting for years just needed to get my cert) and I put my deposit down for a weapon that NO ONE ELSE CAN GET! Once I receive my weapon Ill update this review. So far so good though!

Terrible experience. The salesman (black curly hair about 30 yrs old) didnt know the laws about registration, and didnt admit he didnt know. He made up for his ignorance by being ruder, when he didnt have to be. Overall it just feels very risky to purchase a firearm here. They may register your address incorrectly and get you into trouble. I was going to purchase an AR, but now I will be taking my business elsewhere. Warrior or Bulleye people have your back 100% in the state of California.

This place is my new favorite gun shop in Riverside! The staff is awesome!!! Jim honestly went out of his way to help our little group out and answer all questions. I had recommended a Vortex Sparc 2 as one of the best red dot for the money. But they did not have one in stock but Jim went into the back to grab his personal rifle just to demonstrate the optic and answer yet another question. I conducted a transfer today and they treated my party as well as myself with great professionalism! Keep up the good work guys/gals!

By far the best shopping experience you will have when buying a gun. Sales people are all knowledgeable but are not pretentious in any way trying to tell you what to buy instead they ask you what you want.

Bought Sights from them and the girl told me she needed my phone number in case I needed to return the sights and did not have a receipt. Turns out they have a small sign that says no returns on sights and optics. Small sign. Had she told me that policy prior to buying the sights I would not have bought them. Very deceptive to have a sign that is small and in a out of the way place too. Lost my business. They never came out of the container either.

I will start with saying I love guns and gun stuff but detest gun shops. I detest the attitudes and waiting. That being said I rolled in here with a buddy who was on the hunt for a couple of parts. Meanwhile I was only being a looky Lou. There was vertu ally no one there, beautiful layout, organized, clean, and then came the topper, stuff was friendly and helpful even with my wanting to only fondle a few pieces from behind the counter. I will return.

Great selection of rifles and handguns,along with ammo and accessories and even safes. I used to give this place 5 stars, but my last few visits,the staff seemed too busy or lazy to help and spent more time walking back and forth looking busy.

I went to this store cause online it showed they had it in stock both online and in store. I waited like everyone else and got in there and was told the warehouse had them and I would probably get it the fallowing week. I made an order but I guess once they get your money they say we got 90 days to get it, if not will give your money back then. I guess if you want someone to hold onto your money and not pay you interest then make your order here.

Dont waste your time in line at bass pro or turners to talk to guys that act like its a privilege for you to be talking to them. Ammo Brothers has the best prices, best selection and most curtious and helpfull staff that I have found in the IE. Both on the phone and in person the customer service is second to none. I have purchased a S&W 629 here and this is where i always come for my reloading supplies. I cant believe more people havent yet found this little gem.

Today, I received yet another Riffle from Ammo Bros and I had some items that needed installed, I dealt with Jeff on the paperwork which was fine, but then Matt came and help me install my, Bipod and Scope and he notices the brace on the scope was installed incorrectly by me, he then took it to the back and re-built the who thing and when he came out it was installed and looked amazing and he also zero the scope to my riffle, I thank you Matt for taking the extra time and attention to detail in making sure my weapon was in perfect order. I recommend them, I came from Rancho Cucamonga just for this reason.

All the folks who helped answer all my questions about gun ownership thank you! Ive bought my lower here, taken the test, bought ammo, reloading supplies, everything here. Nothing but good people. I bought an ar 15 lower kit that was missing a spring, brought it back and the guy helping me realized the mistake and gave me the part free of charge. If your are nice to these people theyll show you the same courtesy.Thank you Ammobros for making my first time gun buying experience amazing and for your good customer service!!

Have recently started going here as I am a resident in Perris and I have to say, these guys spoil you. They have just about everything one could want and the store is a good size, a lot to look at. They are friendly and explain things out very well. I bought a CZ SPO-01 from them today and everyone helped with the process as much as they could. There was also this cute redhead working there and that was a plus lol. Overall great experience every time.

Follow up with your orders is bad. Monica said she will call me back regarding one of my orders and never did. I had to follow up. Didnt even apologize.

Walked in on a Monday morning to buy an M1A, they had a good selection, decent price, but absolutely no customer skills. I was totally ignored for more than 20 minutes, 4 people behind the counter, with only a handful of customers, but nobody could bother to say be with you in a few minutes or something similar. So I left, and will spend the $2000 cash in my pocket elsewhere.

The normal issues...Dont show any care for the costumers needs that come into this store.Will almost wait for you to ask for help before helping you.You should be greeted right away and helped in my personal opinion for any retail store like this.Specially for those like myself who dont know too much about the merchandise and procedures. Its not welcoming at all these days.But ok pricing versus other retail stores only pro.

Solid shop, solid service, and employees who are more helpful than the average gun shop employee. That may not be saying much in light of the fact that most gun shop employees are walking trolls, but Ammo Bros in Riverside really does have good people working there.

Went in a few weeks ago looking to buy my first gun, staff was very helpful and gave me a lot of information, definitely will be back and definitely will be buying from them.

I have visited this and other Ammo Bros Locations mostly for PPTs. Always a positive experience, they have changed up how they handle waits and try to work through a line of customers as they can. I definitely recommend them as an FFL to do a PPT.

Got some great selection on guns for those looking to buy. Also stocked up on every and any accessories you might want. Staff is knowledged which is a huge plus for those looking to get started on Thier first gun .

Travis and staff are always wonderful. Bought a few firearms there had a bunch of questions and they are always polite and patient.

I never step foot in either ammo bros stores Ontario or riverside. I live in riverside and went to the local ammo bros store for xd9 base plates and was told they were out of stock but Ontario should have some. I called Ontario and was told they had three in stock. I requested them go be placed on hold and that I would arrive in 30 mins. I drove 30 miles and walked in and requested the plates I was told they didnt have them. I point to the gentlemen and said they are right there on the wall. He grabbed them and said oh wait these might be on special order let me check. After waiting 10 mins he came back and said I cant sell them to you because they are special ordered. I explained to him that I drove 30 miles one way because you had them on hold and his response said oh Im sorry. Ill never buy ammo or any guns from this company because of the bad taste they gave me without offering any solution. You lost a repeat buyer that would spend $ 300 in ammo every 2 weeks.

Not very efficient got here at 10AM still outside waiting at 3 dont come unless you want to wait six hours only two people working I guess owner doesnt need the business

This place has a great selection. Has most types of guns, ammo, and accessories. A must visit.

They are highly knowledgeable, best all around store.

Watch for sales online, make sure your get that price when you purchase it. Great people

I bought my glock here (from gun show) and ILove it took it to the range and its a beast (glock 26), I did have some concerns about my clip being damage and they checked it out and everything was fine with it they even offered to give me a new one without any hesitation, with that said there custermor service is great, was real happy I came to this gun shop! I recommend any new buyers, or mayby just to get another gun come check this place out! Thank you!
