They are adjusting trailer bunks from a trailer I bought from them, they painted my boat,looks great,John and his team have been great,going to have more paint done in the fall, highly recommend, John makes sure its done right, he went above and beyond.

I wish I didnt have to give 1 star. My experience with Boaters Marine has been horrible at best. I had broken the starter bolts on my inboard boat motor and after unsuccessfully tying to remove the bolts myself decided to take it a professional. WRONG CHOICE. I was told that they could probably repair the motor for a few hundred dollars, so I left the boat with them. I told him to let me know a closer estimate after he had a chance to look at it. After several days I called and left a message. No response. I tried again and again. Still no response. My wife drove to the office to get an update. She was told the motor would have to be pulled out in order to properly fix the problem. The estimate she was given was $500. She told them to go ahead, but to please let us know if it was going to be more. After several days of no contact from them I began to call again. Still no response. I was finally told that the boat would be ready Monday December 27. I told him I was in quarantine for Covid and that I could pick the boat up that Thursday. He told me the bill would be over $1000. He never contacted me about any other issues with the boat, just made several unnecessary repairs and asked if I would like him to repair other issues he had discovered. I told him no that the boat was fine other than the starter before I dropped it off. When my wife called to discuss the other issues he discovered he cussed her and belittled her. I dont want any of money and certainly will never allow them to touch a boat of mine again, I want everyone to know how bad the lack of communication and the inept business practice is with Boaters Marine.

Took my brand new boat here for a simple repair they fixed it eventually but I had to keep calling to get updates. After getting my boat home discovered damage to the hull that wasnt there when I dropped it off. Will not go back.

I stopped by to speak to one of their boat mechanics about a problem I had with my outboard motor. I hadnt purchased anything from them before nor did I do so today. But, I would consider purchasing from them in the future. They were very helpful with diagnosing the mechanical/electrical issue I had and gave me good insight.

Dont waste your time. They couldnt find a simple part for 3 months that they had my boat in the shop for, I found it for them in 5 minutes and brought it in for them. 3 months was a lot of lost fishing time with my kids. I steer as much business away from them as I can.

John is very knowledgeable and always points me in the right direction.

Bought a 2006 Regal. This will be my 6th boat. Boat was gone through and probably the best used boat I’ve purchased of 4 used. Literally flawless. The other 3 had issues that came apparent afterwards. Simple sales process and delivery. Clean warehouse and clean boat. They sell solid used boats. My experience was great, timely, simple and sold a 100% functional boat at a good price and clean as can be.

Used boat purchased at Boater’s Marine, some issues can take time to fix and may not show up right away after purchase. Jon does what he says he’ll do and works to make things right if issues do arise. Very happy with the level of knowledge and support provided to me.

Jon and his staff are very knowledgeable, their prices are fair, and he has always taken care of me. As a bass fisherman Im particular about my boat. Jon has always treated my boat like it was his own, and worked above and beyond to keep me on the water.

Boaters Marine is the absolute best dealer around. They have always taken care of me when I have had a problem with my boat or needed parts or supplies. They do a very good job diagnosing and fixing a problem and vast experience that lets them know what needs to be done and what does not need to be done. That way you can make an informed decision on service. This saves you money, and more importantly, time down the road. We only have so much time to be on the water enjoying our favorite sport so it does not make sense to skimp on necessary service, but at the same time Boaters Marine does not recommend wasting money doing any work that doesnt need to be done. Jon and his staff are always very helpful and friendly and I like the fact that if they do not have what you need a lot of times they will help you find it. Bought a used motor from John gave me a good and fair price and took time out of his busy schedule to mount it on my boat, all his guys were helpful and friendly. A week later I had a small issue with the motor and called John hoping for some help considering I had only used the motor once, John offered to split the cost of repairs which was way more than I feel most people would have offered these days, I will not hesitate to do future business with John and the guys at Boaters Marine, thanks again!

These are my go to boat guys. They always seem to treat me fair and honest. Its not always the quickest service but I feel the work is quality. Not the cheapest but where can you find a inexpensive and quality mechanic? Thanks Boaters Marine!

As a new powerboat owner, the staff at Boaters Marine have been very helpful in helping me get up to speed with my own equipment - even though Id purchased from a private owner. I recently repowered my boat with a motor Id also purchased from a different owner they performed the swap. Everything looks professionally done, worked with no issues and all for a reasonable cost. Definitely recommended.

Took my 1993 Gambler Intimidator for service. My boat was taking in water engine was very sluggish. John and his partner had my boat like new in 3 days with excellent service and price. Boats solid and my mercury xri is running like a bat out of hell.. Thanks boaters marine !!

I was told when I drop the boat off that it would take two weeks before they even looked at it possibly four weeks before I even get the boat back. I called the next day to double check the two week timeline and they moved it up to three weeks. I told them I would come that day to pick up the boat and move it to another place that can do it sooner, the guy laughed at me and said there is no way that anyone could get it done sooner than that. I moved it to another boat place and they were done three hours later. I had to wait on my boat for over an hour before they brought it to the front, they serve three other customers and brought their boat around to the front before they brought mine Everyone I spoke to was very rude except for owners son. I spoke to one of the customers that moved ahead of me in line and just so happens that they have their boat was looked at and was out of there within a day. They have lost my business and I do not recommend them to anyone else, its worth driving an extra 30 minutes to 40 minutes to go to another boat place

Friendly people good service always have what I need

I visited for some parts. They had everything I needed. Very friendly. Knew what they were doing.

I ordered some parts from Boaters World. They promised I would get the parts by the end of the week (5 business days). After 6 days I called 3 days in a row before someone could answer where the parts. I was told we dont know what happened and we lost your paper work No apology, no nothing. Very Very disappointed in their business. A simple apology would have been nice. They didnt even want to help me, they gave me a number to call to order the parts and hung up. Be very cautious about doing business with them.

I have used Boaters Marine for my service work for years. I took my boat to them recently to have the carburetor rebuilt on my V-6 I/O engine. No call to let me know it was done. After several days, I called them and was told by the service manager (the owners son) that the carb had been rebuilt and they had planned to take it to the lake for a run test but couldnt because the engine was knocking. I asked how that was possible, since it wasnt knocking when I took the boat to them. The service manager got angry and said if you think we had anything to do with it, you can just come get your damned boat. Not very professional. The explanation was that sometimes this just happens. When I got there and started up the engine, it made a horrendous noise and I immediately shut it down. The service manager again denied having anything to do with it and again said sometimes this just happens, that boat engines just suddenly start knocking without provocation. I brought the boat home and pulled the cylinder heads and found pieces of metal floating on the top of two pistons. Obviously, a piece of metal fell through the intake into the valves while the carb was off. Theres no way I ran the boat all afternoon the previous weekend with that metal in there. I dont think its a coincidence that one of the four lock washers from the carb studs was missing, since thats what the pieces of metal appeared to have been originally. I had to rebuild the top end of the engine at my own time and expense, because they deny all responsibility. Everyone makes mistakes, but its important to own up to them when you do, rather than denying everything. Do not trust them with your boat. I am a long time customer so if they would treat me this way, they will do the same to you.

Beautiful boats and Pontoons

They will sell you products but when you need to get it fixed they wont fix it but tell you to buy a new one. Bought a boat and engine from them and a year later take it to get a tune up. When we went in the sales person says we dont fix that motor here. But you can buy a new one. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Bad customer service, horrible work, if I could give them no stars I would. John Lilly is not a man of his word, he will tell you anything to get your business. Wouldnt even take a canoe to them to work on!

Went to pick up our boat and found the trailer was dented and the fiberglass was warped from hitting the fence, they never mentioned it. Dishonest company!
