The service is great, however, there’s nothing in place regarding public health measures. As we are in the middle of an international pandemic & northeast Ohio has been riding yet another wave of COVID cases, not a single employee was wearing a mask. They were walking all over the service area, waiting area, and areas where patrons can view vehicles and no one put masks on around us. There were several younger children in the showroom whose parents had masks but the employees- nothing. When I asked about it at the service desk, I got no response from the employee.As a nurse, these are the basic public health measures that make a difference in the spread of this disease. And with children too young to be vaccinated coming to the establishment, it’s really critical that employees follow basic, science-backed health measures. Wear a mask when around others.

So happy I decided to get my vehicle serviced at the Honda of Mentor! I usually go to another Honda dealership, but this one was able to get me in sooner. I wont go anywhere else to get my vehicle serviced from now on! From the moment of my arrival, I felt like the whole staff was there to exceed my expectations!! Becky, who was the liaison between the mechanics and me, did an amazing job at communicating!! Have the no touch procedure to reduce incidents of Covid transmission. Overall a good job of servicing but prices of some services are higher than other dealerships. Also if there are any issues with your new vehicle make sure the issues are written up before the warranty expires.

I went to Honda of Mentor because I was driving around a 20 year old Mitsubishi that kept breaking down on me. TJ helped me find a used SUV that I could afford and really liked. He worked with me to make sure I could afford things. He was very knowledgeable and didn’t pressure me into buying anything. Extremely happy with my Honda Pilot and will be a return customer. Cody & Brian make it feel like a friendly conversation more than a major automobile purchase. I wanted so badly to write a good review because the employees were nice. But the attached photos are from AFTER I got the complete detail ($269). I dont know if it was because I used a coupon from their website, but it was still the most expensive detail Ive ever gotten, yet the WORST. They did a half a** job on every area of my SUV and I will never go back.** UPDATE **I emailed the GM the same day he replied to this review and never heard back from him. I reached out again over a week later but still never got a response. He forwarded the issue to the Service Dept. I can tell that the concern was just for show online and Im not wasting my time taking my vehicle BACK up there, when Ive already cleaned the majority of what they missed. I will just remember this experience and never take my vehicles up there again.

We had a packed car on our way out of town when something went terribly wrong on the highway. The car wouldn’t accelerate and it was a struggle just to get safely off the highway. As we exited, we found Honda of Mentor just about three miles away. When we pulled in, they said they were booked a week out. It would have been easy for them simply to tell us, “we can’t help you.” Luckily for us, they did no such thing. Sensing our desperation, Jennifer immediately went to her manager to see if they could squeeze us in. Service Manager Gary put us to the front of the line to get a quick diagnostic. It wasn’t good news, but at least we had a rough idea what the problem was and we knew not to continue our trip in that car. This brought us to problem #2…no rental cars available anywhere for days. Jennifer then arranged a loaner car for us so we could drive home (an hour away), get our other car, and drive back to switch out all of our luggage. When we got back, we continued on our trip with the hope that our car could be fixed and could be picked up on our way back through Mentor. Jennifer kept in contact me while we were gone and gave me constant updates. They got our car fixed in a few days and we were able to conveniently get it on our way back.As I said previously, it would have been easy for them to simply say, sorry but we’re booked. We would have been stuck on several levels. Instead, they took the opportunity to help out a family that was in need of a big favor. We can’t say thanks enough for their willingness to help and I can’t say enough how great it was dealing with Jennifer D. She went the extra mile and then some.

Most everyone working there wore a mask appropriately. The finance person I worked with was phenomenal and answered all the questions and concerns with a good sense of humor. Picking up the vehicle after payment was a relatively pleasant experience. Looking forward to the free car washes, once theyre available after covid-19, especially since they are so close to home. I recommend their service dept. -loved driving inside and someone was there to greet you and the service staff desk was right there. Waited and took less than an hour. In the last two weeks my family purchased three cars from Honda in Mentor. Cory helped my step daughter into her first new car with a lease, was great at explaining things we weren’t sure about when it came to leases versus buying, and did a great job getting us through the process. My wife and I dealt with Patrick who admitted early on that it was his first day on the showroom floor and we went easy on him, but even on his first day he did a fantastic job of getting things going. Bought a used van about six weeks ago. Great experience with the sales team and finance was fine. I understand it was used and sold as is - but we were told all sorts of things were done maintenance wise which just couldnt have been true. Within the first three weeks, we had to replace all the brakes, an engine sensor, and the ac went out. Were about $1k in and definitely feel like some of these items were known about and not shared with us. Disappointing. I also dont feel like the price was fair at this point considering everything we had to almost immediately put into the car.

The service was done very quickly, on budget and correctly. A free loaner was provided and the service writer was prepared to efficiently move the service forward. The price was discussed and adjusted as requested through discount and monthly promotion. An independent garage would have cost several hundred dollars less, but the timing belt is not something I am willing to do outside of the Honda Dealer service department. There were also warranty repairs made during this service appointment.Overall, a positive experience!

I was searching online for a SUV with certain features, and I was just about to go purchase another vehicle from a different dealer when I came across a Honda Pilot that fit had everything I was looking for here at Honda of Mentor. I reached out via to check availability. I received a response email immediately, with a very personable video message from Cory Kless, and I scheduled for a test drive the same day. We found the dealership neat & very clean. We were met at the door with a smile & told good morning.The work we scheduled was done in a timely manner. We brought in both our vehicles to be serviced. Our Honda CR-V had the tires balanced and Ridgeline had an alignment.The appointment was scheduled on line. We were sent a confirmation notice & a thank you notice after the work was finished.The mechanics were very knowledgeable as to know what service was needed. They explained to us our CR-V didnt need the alignment we scheduled, but did need the tires balanced. This saved us $7.00. Both Vehicles are just fine now. Service review.As a full-time RVr coordinating services on the car we tow can be a challenge, especially when its something that cant be planned for. I could hear a wheel bearing starting to fail in our 2024 CR-V. I called the service department and was told that I could be fit in the next day at 1pm. By 1:30 the tech had determined one of the wheel bearings would need to be replaced, but also noticed the brake fluid was in need of replacement. Im normally leary of suggested services but knowing the last brake fluid flush had been almost 3 years ago I agreed to the service, again not liking to stop our travels later for this service given we were already in the shop. I also had them check out a transmission concern which they told me would be covered under a recall of sorts.The wheel bearing would need to be ordered in so for $20 I drove away with a service loaner with the understanding the bearing would arrive the following morning.The following morning I was called around 9:30am, my car was done and I could pick it up. The tech had completed all other services the previous day when I dropped the car off and had the wheel bearing repair tore down ready for the new part. Efficient.The price I paid was the price quoted. My car was returned washed. TY!

Outstanding service. Immediately found the used car we wanted. Being allowed to do a test drive without the salesman was a big plus. Financing and trade-in worked well and we were in our car in three hours with a full tank of gas on a busy Saturday. I go to Honda of Mentor for my oil changes because I bought by Chevy Impala there for a very good price never had a problem until Friday my appointment was for 11:45 I get there the lady says its not until 1 I go back at 3 my car is still not done totally unacceptable I know they had to order the oil filter because they do not keep Chevrolet parts but that is what the appointment confirmation is for. My car was finally done at 3:20 Gary Dalton the service manager did give me an $18 discount but I already had a $10 discount so he saved me another $8 which was alright I guess. I need a new muffler I asked the lady to give me an estimate she would not even do that and said they dont carry Chevy parts well I know that but I know they service other cars besides Honda so now I feel they dont even want my car there for service so Im not sure if I do return there or not
