Loved BB 20 years ago! It has gotten expensive, and customer service is terrible, even before covid. I recently bought three tarps, extra heavy duty, the two smaller ones were nice n thick, the 16×20, also extra heavy duty feels like cheap plastic!! The bigger the tarp, the more the probability of needing that thickness, right!!? Had to use anyway, as inclement weather hit suddenly, that day and had to get some important things covered and live 30 miles away! Feels like i was cheated, tho

Love the store they have a ton of items and all of seem to be at a decent price...great selection of guns...fishing gear and pretty much anything you can think of. Helpful and knowledgeable staff

Blackbird is just a cool store. Like everyone else they are out of ammunition.We also looked at small gas cans. Holy moly! $37.00 for a 2 gallon gas can. Good luck with that.The people are always nice and helpful. Its true that you never really know what youre going to find at Blackbird.

Went in here to rent a snowboard set up for the day. Was not aware that it was an Ace Hardware and a Cabela’s rolled into one. This place literally has anything you could ever want for the outdoors. The staff was super friendly and got me hooked up with my rentals within minutes. Told me some of the local tips on where to go for fresh pow. Highly recommend this place!

They generally have it all. Like seriously, dog treats/toys, clothing, fishing gear, and of course lots of hardware and other gadget stuff. My recent trip there was rather disappointing. They have been out of stock of this high strength aerosal adhesive that they told me they were going to restock a couple weeks ago. They also didnt have a pocket hole (angle hole) drill set. Spent about 15 minutes looking for these things, while waiting for an employee to never show up and help..Usually I am better accommodated here and can find just about anything I need. And the cashier was super nice, offering treats to my puppy (who got about 3 compliments from employees during our visit). Keep your 5 stars, you deserve it!

Went in at the last minute before close. The employees were awesome- showed me right to the aisle I needed to be in and got me in and out quick. Thought they would be irritated with me showing up near close- but they werent! They were super friendly and helpful :)

Blackbird is a great fixture in the local community, and their giant Blackbird statue is quite a landmark!It is an interesting and fun place to shop. As they have a great mixture of sporting goods, hardware, apparel, and even novelty items.The employees that we have talked to there, all seem very friendly and helpful.Definitely recommended to shop here!

Did you know they repair window screens ? I took mine down there to be rescreened and they did the best job ever. I just had them done in G.P. by a window shop and they didnt last a month. So I took them to Black Bird because they did one of mine that is still in great shape after 3 years. So worth the trip from GP to Medford.

Justin is a great asset to Black Bird. We didnt have a very good experience in the gun section during our first visit but after coming back the following day and speaking to Justin, we came in and purchased two additional firearms. He was extremely professional made good advice towards our purchase. Cannot say enough about Justin, he turned around our opinion of Blackbird so we will continue to be a Blackbird customer.

Great store! A bit high priced, but you get what you pay for. Its got a ton of camping/fishing/rafting/outdoor supplies. And a nice selection of guns and ammo. I am not into that stuff, but I know a lot of people who are. They have an auto section too, and they also sell hunting and fishing licenses here. I get my fishing license here and they make the process really easy.

Classic local business, love shopping here they have pretty much everything.

Pretty good selection of work wear.... not the brand names that I used to go to Black Bird for.... but things change eh.....one of the best places for outdoor foot wear...the (Lowa Tibet ) best hiking boot on the wall( for me)... highly recommend.And Whites 10 inch forestry work boot with the better heal, best boot on planet Earth!You will want to get married in them.... because they are such a beautiful work of leather craftsmanship....

Outstanding service in every section that my husband and I went through! Both of us commented that we havent experienced customer service like that in over 20 years! We will definitely drive over the pass to be able to shop in your again!!

I have loved The Black Bird as long as I can remember. The seasonal outfits were the best! The resident talking birds were definitely a big part of the experience. I am so grateful that it is still doing a brisk business. Oh! And they have an excellent inventory of high quality merchandise.

I love blackbird. They have everything that a workman or outdoorsman could need. Tools, rv accessories, car stuff, gardening, clothing, shoes and boots, guns and ammo, camping, hiking, fishing. They have rope and chain and fabric of many types. I get just about everything I need around my house and yard right here.

I really like Blackbird. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. I live over 30 miles away and drive past four other sporting goods stores to get here. But I do it every time. I really appreciate the customer service quality products offered at competitive prices. Keep it up Blackbird!

Employees were very helpful and this place has a lot of camping and outdoor stuff. One thing Im very interested in for the future is the beer brewing kits. They have prepared kits with all the ingredients included, or you can shop their selection of grains and hops to make your own assortment.

This store is great! It has a little bit of everything, but has been our go-to for outdoor rec equipment. Theres fun little easter eggs all around the store that my kids love to find and look at. Their favorite is the shark.

Weston took great care of us and our custom order foam. He even came to our car and measured it out just to make sure it was going to be a perfect fit.

Carhartt, Wrangler, Life is Good brand plus a wonderful selection of work boots, hiking boots and shoes, socks, cozy insoles fer yer achin feet! You guessed it....Come on, say it with me, you know you want to... BLACKBIRDS GOT IT!!! Oh, I almost forgot their super friendly and knowledgeable staff, theyre always there to help.

Great variety and friendly staff!

I always end up leaving with more than I intended. When they have items discounted its usually a very good deal. Plus I had a coupon for $5.00 off from ACE hardware that expired on the 25th.They have a lot of hardware and everything else I use for work which isnt found at the other stores like H.D. or L. IKts always nice to not have to drive across town from Jacksonville for Plumbing or electrical or even specialty bolts.

The annual parking lot sale this past weekend. Always find great deals.

We love going to the Blackbird, great stuff, real Oregon people and product choices, and I appreciate the wide range of selections across so many areas that are needed in our active small town, outdoors, and farming lifestyle.

Humongous place. Its like the TARDIS, bigger on the inside! I mean seriously, theres the main floor, a middle floor, then an upper floor and then you get into the rafter where youre looking at displays next to the ceiling pipes! AND THEN theres a basement section! Really, its got a TON of stuff inside. Lots of survival stuff (though I recommend the army surplus store for KNIVES and other survival stuff), camping, fishing, hunting, misc stuff, parkas, coats, flannel, etc etc etc... And lots of crazy stuffed animals all over the walls and such. Plus bigfoot. Must check it out at least once.

Enjoy going to Blackbird for shopping. They have a lot of different products and I enjoy just looking to see what they have. Today I was getting wood Pellets. I will say the place is dated. My big 3500 doesnt fit so well in the parking spots. I had to be real careful I wasnt going to hit anything while I was going through the parking lot.

The front cashier service is atrocious, ran by non personable angry at life staff, everything you want is out of stock. I only give it 2 stars because the gun counter, fishing staff, and tool/nuts & bolts staff seem like like good people, that actually help you.

Ive been coming to Black Bird since the late 70s as a kid. Ive always been happy here with the products & staff.

Super cool store, its like a sportsmans warehouse but not as spendy and not as nice looking but they have great stuff. Sometimes just go there to look around for fun ha

They finally found a safe way to enter the store! They seem to have way more employees,then most chain stores. The employees on the floor seem happy and know the store and what they carry. I have to say again more cashiers, then you ever see at any store, I have been too. Your wait is short, if any wait, no lines!! Black Bird understands, they are local, only 1 store, treat your customer right. They are thriving, as other stores are hurting!!

I went in here to get a screen made for my window the guy there wouldnt even take my measurement kept saying I need to go home and remeasure I decided to call Bills glass gave them the exact same measurements and the screen fit first time like a charm the guy at Blackbird isnt really trying to make the store money Plus at Bills glass the screen was half the price

Good store and decent people - last few days i have purchased the ammo i needed and they have always been nice on the phone and in person, though it is a sixty mile round trip for me, its all good. and unlike sportsman they allow two boxes per chamber, per day....meaning you can get two boxes 357 and two boxed 38special and two boxed 22Lr ect, ect, ect
