Highly recommend! Great customer service, and they treat you fairly and honestly. We will not go anywhere else! We have been using them for years, we use them for everything from the basics, like having the oil changed and tires rotated... We even had an issue with motor once in which they advised us that there was a factory recall for. So, rather than charge us to fix the issue and not say anything about the recall, they made sure we were aware and could get it fixed at no charge from a dealership. Life long customer here!

I’ve been going here for over 5 years. Don’t even think they realize that. The last couple times I’ve had bad experiences. For my second visit in a row I requested my tires to be balanced due to a shake over 70 mph. I repeatedly said that what I needed. Both times it wasn’t done and yesterday I was charged $20 for an alignment check? It took over an hour for an oil change with appointment. They put my next oil change sticker over the old one so you can’t even see it. There was grease all over the door and steering wheel. The time before there was trash all over my car. I completely understand if your short staffed during this time but don’t take on more than you can do if it’s going to mean losing customers.

We have 2 cars and both have been patients of Sarks Automotive. Not only do they do a thorough check of your concerns, they go above and beyond with potential concerns that could possibly affect your cars performance. No work is completed without notification of what is needed to repair along with the cost. Word to the wise do not ever use this company we have spent Over $2000 with them for some thing that should’ve only been $130 fix. We took in a PT cruiser that the battery kept dying they put in a new computer told us that was it it would work perfectly. That was not the fix we had to take it back because the battery was still continuing to die even after putting in a new battery winch they also told us would fix it Turns out all it was, was the interior light was not wanting to go off all the way it was only $130 fix. They still wanted us to pay another 90 to replace it after we spent $2000 with them. Do not use this company unless you just like throwing your money away.

They did great work at a decent price. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly and my car is still running very smoothly. Cant ask for much more than that. Ill be back.

This is my first time getting my vehicle serviced at Sarks; came highly recommended by a friend. Very prompt service and at a fair price. The waiting room here is stellar! This was my first time here. The gas line broke on my daughters car, which is a hybrid. So someone recommended this place. Not only did they get it fixed the same day, but it was much less expensive than what I thought it would be. Plus the customer service was great. I would highly recommend this place.

My second time going there for an oil change. Was told my front brake pads were at 2mm and needed to be replaced. Took my vehicle to a different shop to check my brake pads which were at 6mm and didnt need replacement yet.

This place is great. They fit me in last minute for an oil change. Great service. Quick and easy. The waiting area is comfortable. My kids enjoyed fresh popcorn. There is also a table to play cars on for them. I made used of their kuerig and had a cup of donut shop coffee.

A mechanic shop with integrity. They troubleshoot and fix it at the price that they tell you upfront it will cost and in the timeframe they promise. I will keep bringing my BMW here to keep it well maintained!

Had an appointment for a rear only brake pad replacement. 4 hours. Most people say this is a 1 hour service at most. It took Sarks 4 hours with an appointment. Staff unprofessional. Talking bad about customers after they leave. Really tried the upsell hard. Won’t be back.

When I first got my car I was back and forth over there for months I was told it was one thing than I went back and it was another issue. Fast forward I had my check engine light on they told me it was my OZ sensor replaced that for my check engine light to come back on again took it to autzone and gave Them the code that was given to me for them to tell me don’t always go by what they say because they’re machines aren’t always accurate. When they did my test the same issue that I was told from autozone was the same issues they told me after they did a diagnostic test. They call themselves turning off the check engine light for it to come back on. I’ve took my vehicle there to get my oil change after they gave me a two page paper stating that I needed a few things replaced one being my windshield wipers which I’d already replaced 2 months prior. I will NO LONGER do business with them I rather go else where to get my moneys worth and half of the time I don’t be thinking they do the word.

Well I was quoted a price for a new ignition and brand new keys. I received my car a mess didnt receive new keys both were broken they repaired one key so I only have one key I dont have an extra key. So I thought that they should have given me a discount on the price and or offer me some type of discount if I brought it back for any other fixtures that they located while working on a car. However the manager did reach out to me made me feel a little better but not enough for me to return. I wouldnt recommend this place! Well my key broke they told me to go to the Volkswagen dealership. Im calling a lawyer Im TIRED of getting shafted!

All I can say is job well done I love my truck they put a 7.5 rough country lift kit and a lot more other things and I love everything they did they keep you updated everything they do to your vehicle I love them like a family I never had thanks for all y’all did brought my baby back to life 🖤❤️🖤

My son had his truck repaired after wheel bearing failure that broke his transaxle. They did a great job for a very fair price.

They were absolutely amazing. I had a Chrysler that needed a battery change. If you don’t know, the battery is located by tire which is weird lol but I paid for a 30 min job and it was a little over 45 min bc they were busy as hell when I got there. They didn’t charge extra for the time they went over. Even though they were extremely busy upon my arrival, they still took me in and got my issue resolved. They closed at 1pm and still fixed the issue past closing time. Wonderful experience and job well done. Staff was nice and atmosphere was great. Will try again in the future.

When dealing with U-Haul in Mauldin one usually goes to Sarks or Yogi ...You only need to go to the Yogi location once to understand which place is better.Sarks has a great staff, great service, they are friendly and honest people one enjoys doing business with.Yogi ... not so much.I highly recommend bringing your U-HAUL business to Sarks.

Early last week i went in and had them check why my front wheels were slanted and i have a general idea. They quoted me for it.I took my vechile back and they recomended a new lift kit cause it cause it comes with control arms and tire rods and ball joints. They didnt want to use oem parta to fix the issue.I asked them if they can fix the minor scrubbing issue as wellThey put a new lift kit on and fixed the front end and the wheels and tires i had scrub very much when you turn right or left and i csn even make a right or left tuen cleaely with out it scrubbing the whole wheel. They knew i was very un happy about it and didnt try to help. They couldve recomended me what to do as i was talking to the mechanic. I called first thing this morning on a tire quote for smaller tires to hope that does rub and i called 3 times today to get a price and they were waiting to here back. They shouldve tried tk reach out.Bad customer service. And the lift kit was 3 days days late

Beware of misleading recommendations. I had oil change and tire rotation, everything appears to be satisfactory. When checking out I end handed a two (2) page list of recommended services, no explanation given. List included 1) Replace air filter (wrong, i have a K & N Lifetime filter); 2) Replace rear brake pads and rotors and change system brake fluid (wrong again, my regular mechanic serviced the entire brake system 2 months ago and replaced the rear pads and turned the OEM rotor); 3)Recommended changing the power steering fluid. This may or may not need to be done, but I dont trust their judgement. The entire list cost for recommended repairs was over $650.I returned and talked to the manager today, she had no explanation for the unneeded repairs suggested on the list given me. Im a car guy and this kind of recommended service makes me very angry for the customers that just follow these expensive service suggestions not knowing they may not need any of them. Ill never go back because I believe either they dont know what they are doing or theyre trying to cheat unknowing customers.

Ive been a customer since they took over the Greenville shop ! At various times they put both an engine and a transmission in my truck ! they have done window and electrical work on my wifes car! they always answer my questions clearly and they always guarantees their work. theyre honest and I will not go anywhere else !

Scheduled an appointment for 8:30am for a thermostat replacement and radiator flushing a day prior to coming in for service. On the day of service I came in at scheduled time. Sat there until 11:45......Was accused of trying to take advantage of their labor after I clearly told one of their representatives that did not want the flushing once I came In for servicing. Instead of checking their multiple cameras for evidence. I was told that I didn’t ask to remove the flushing and the flushing was mandatory, so even If weren’t to pay for the flushing they would charge me for coolant. Any mechanic is suppose to top off your fluids when changing a mechanical part to your vehicle without an extra charge. Once it became clear the manager wanted to MAKE me pay for flushing. We came to a disagreement and a very vocal altercation. Manager tried to attack me as you can see on their footage, if their cameras even work. Then proceeded to call the cops on me. All in all. Horrible customer service, horrible management. Horrible experience.

Had my vehicle in 3 times for the same problem........ $200 to $300 every time.....

I thought I had finally found my auto repair facility until....March, 2020. Water was somehow getting into the cabin of my car. I took it to Sarks and they charged me $150 to clean the sunroof drains. This came with a year warranty. Two weeks later and I had more water in the cabin of my car. When I returned, they informed me that the rear drains were now leaking. They explained that they only cleaned the front drains which was not communicated to me when the first service was done. At this point, they said it would be approximately $450 to clean these drains and the front ones needed to be addressed again. They would not honor the year warranty. I refused to have the service completed and took the car to a different repair facility that fixed the problem for $52. Please beware!I know that I waited a year to post the review, please keep in mind that COVID hit and the world stopped for a period of time. When I left your shop that day, your staff knew I was unhappy so this is not the first you are hearing of it. Priorities shifted and taking care of my family became more important that dealing with a car repair. I put the car under cover and dealt with life issues. Your diagnosis was incorrect from the beginning and you did not honor the one year warranty. When I returned the car for the same issue within the one year warranty window, you said that the rear drains were now the problem (but somehow werent the issue initially) and that the front drains needed to be recleaned but you did not clean them at that time. You also did not Initially designate that it was only the front drains that you were addressing during the initial repair. At the time of my 2nd visit, I was told they reached out to the owners the decision was theirs not to cover the rear drains. If I had known there were front and rear drains, I would have asked you to check both because logically, if the front drains have an issue, the rear ones are more than likely suffering from the same issue. The bottom line is that your diagnosis was completely incorrect. I had the repair completed for $52 earlier this year and it was not the front and back drains. If I had paid you the 2nd time, I would have been out of pocket $600 and still not had the issue resolved.

Check a different shop after I purchased a new completely assembled distributor. They put it In and my truck still did not start. So they did another diagnostic well it was wiring..

The alternator on my truck went out so I took it to Sarks because it was highly recommended. They scheduled me in the next day. I purchased an extended warranty for my truck which I know can be a pain for service shops but they handled the claim and got the work done really quick. Highly recommend. Support a local business.

All I can say is buyer be warned!!! I have spent thousands of dollars with Sarks, and I am about to file a civil action with the magistrates office in Mauldin on the basis of fraud.They charged me for repairs that were never needed and I also had to pay Subaru to fix an error they made with installing my spark plugs.Lessons learned.

We have been here several times now and each time is a pleasant experience. From check in to pick up, all professional and courteous. Auto repairs are never fun (or cheap), but these people make the experience a positive one!

Good place to go for any repair, I like go over there specially when I see that they always improving (service, store, promos).

Taking my car to an auto mechanic is stressful. I rely on the Google to help me decide the best place to go .. so I went to Sarks (again). Im only giving 4 out of 5 stars cause my pocket book didnt expect this expense, sorry. I recommend Sarks and will continue to use them for my automotive needs .. pocket book willing.

Long story short, I gave them over a week to diag and fix a few things that were going on with my truck and they did absolutely nothing. Never called me back on numerous occasions.Dropped off my truck to get diag. Experiencing oil, leaks loss of power, creaking when steering, liquid leaking from brake pedal. I called ahead to make an appointment for Thursday morning and brought it in Wednesday afternoon and let them know that I’d be going out of town and I would be back for the truck Wednesday morning next week. I told the lady at the front everything that I knew Was wrong with the vehicle They said that it wouldn’t be a problem and that they’d get it in first thing Thursday morning. I called Friday to get an update only to find out that they haven’t even looked at it and that the only tech working that day doesn’t work on diesels. (I think crystal was her name) she said they’d get started on it that day(Friday) and that she’ll call me back that day. I did not receive a call from anyone. I checked back in on Tuesday(the following week) to see what the deal was and she informed me that they still have not found the source of my oil leak(didn’t even bother mentioning The other issues I brought it in for) but she said they should have a quote written up for me that day. I asked her to please call me back with the quote and she said I’ll hear from her soon. Again, I never received a call. I showed up Tuesday morning only to see my truck sitting in the back lot. I ask to see if there’s any update and sure enough there wasn’t. I gave them one more day and she swore that I’d hear from her by the end of the day(the day I was supposed to be picking it up) and sure enough I didn’t receive a call. I came Thursday morning to pick up my truck because I now had to find an actual shop who could AT LEAST diag my truck and it took them over 30 minutes just to pull my truck around after making me wait over a week for absolutely nothing.The whole experience was very disappointing and a huge waste of my time.

Contacted Sarks Automotive based on feedback I received from a family member. My visit led me there for some differential work that needed to be performed on my Jeep.The staff is completely knowledgeable and was very quick to work my vehicle into their schedule. I dropped my Jeep off after hours and Sarks began work on it immediately the following morning. They called to quote the price for the work to be completed and to my surprise, they were over one-third lower in price from what the dealership was quoting for the same work. The work was completed a few hours later and I drove away early in the afternoon with my vehicle. I have not had any problems and the work was top-notch.I’m someone that appreciates good customer service and high emphasis on quality. Sarks embodies both of these qualities while completing work quickly and at a great price. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for an automotive shop. I called ahead and made an appointment to get the brake pads changed on my truck. I had my own pads so they quoted me right around 95$ which I was more than happy to pay. Then after doing the front pads they told me I didnt have enough brake pads for the back (I had 4 to start and I needed 8). When I asked the mechanic how much more it was going to be he said 45$ more bringing me to 140$ which was still reasonable and I wasnt going to complain. However, when they finished my truck (AFTER nearly 3 hours even though I had a pre-existing appointment) they charged me 260$! When i told them the mechanic had quoted me 140$ they said well the mechanic doesnt know the prices like he should and refused to honor what I believed to be the fair price, which should have been 140$. After everything they gave me a 20$ discount so I payed 240$, but that is still 100$ more than I should have had to pay. Overall, very disappointed with the price and with the time of service so I will not be coming back here.

I have used Sarks 2 times for my Ford F-150 each time I was treated with respect, and honesty. The value of the work was phenomenal. I shopped around for price and they were lower than the others. I only have one auto and they took me home and picked me up after with no extra charge. I will continue to use them for further service. Thank you Jeremy for a job well done

Instead of verifying the purchase dates on the customers credit card statements, the owner Jeremy called me a liar and threatened me with physical violence. Very unprofessional. CUSTOMERS BEWARE. Word on the street is that they are not to be trusted...

Jeremy and the entire crew at Sarks are amazing. They are up front and honest. They have never tried to sell me a service I truly didn’t need. I moved to S.C. four years ago when my Jeep was fairly new and they are the only shop to ever work on it. I highly recommend them regardless of what make/model your vehicle is. My husband brought in our car for the first time to have our a/c checked and they were prompt and efficient. We were pleased with the pricing, which was very fair. They did an initial diagnosis and put freon in. We were quoted much higher prices from other companies. Theyve earned our respect and trust.

This place is awesome. My 2013 Cadillac SRX would not crank. I called and spoke with both Crystal and Candice( yall are great). We got my car towed in and they worked me into their already scheduled appointments. Every time I called to check the status in my car they were so nice and understanding, (I know I got on their nerves). They found out the problem and it had it fixed in no time. Took my car in for some routine maintenance at 185K miles.Jeremy offered recommendations on a game plan on what should be addressed, and in what order. He suggested having certain things done at the same time in order to save me money on labor cost...Ive had my car in there twice, and both times the final price was less expensive than what Jeremy ball parked for me.Funny thing happened at work today. I was telling some co-workers how excited I was to finally have a/c in my car after living in SC for 10 years.I continued to tell them how well I respected Sarks auto for all the work they have done so far for me.And as I was talking my co-worker pulled out his phone, hit contacts, and showed me that he had Sarks auto saved in his phone.He said Jeremy is a great guy and Ive been taking my car there for 3 years.Quite a few people at work now know about Sarks auto and plan to take their cars there in the future.I am a very satisfied customer and will only go to Sarks in the future...Thank you Jeremy and crew!!!

2012 Ford Expedition - seemed like nice people running the place, had to take back my SUV 4 times to fix a simple blower motor and resistor for the A/C, the price was high $710, i think they tried to use cheap after market parts 3 times and had to go with OEM parts, not sure they never told me. Biggest disappointment is why would you repair something and not test it, i had to discover the NON fix 3 times. If you need an oil change, tire rotation, brakes etc. I am sure they will do a fine job. I always take my cars to the dealership, but during these hard times of Covid, i wanted to give an independent my business. Sad it didnt work out.

The mechanic that worked on my truck (Jeremy) even texted me asking if I was satisfied with the work performed on my truck. Most importantly no valuables were taken from my truck. Ive been taking my car to Sarks for all my auto maintenance needs for the past three years. They do great work at a fair price. They also provided me with a shuttle back home the last time my car was undergoing a major repair. I recommend them to everyone I know who needs work done on their vehicles.

Steer clear of this place unless you want to be lied to and ripped off. I was trying to help my elderly mother get her car running again and we took it here to Sarks. They had actually came to my mothers house and towed the car over to their shop . The guy that came to tow the car said no Im not going to test the battery its most likely the timing belt. I asked them what would it take to just get the car running again and they gave us a long list of things that the car needed that added up to about $1,400. The list included a timing belt, a water pump, and a bunch of other stuff that was completely not needed My mother is on a fixed income and could not afford it and being that myself and my siblings were going to have to pay for the bill we decided to get a second opinion somewhere else. We had another mechanic look at it and all he did was put a battery in the car and it runs great and has been ever since. When I called to try to speak to the owner the woman that answered the phone does not let you speak to the owner and she is very rude and did not care that they charged us $250 to diagnose a problem that would have only took $100 maximum to fix. They refused to refund anything nor did they care that they had tried to rip off an old lady.

I am 68 and have done business with a lot of automotive service centers and overall have had a good experience with the exception of (Car Dealers ) very slow and traditionally very expensive.I have been doing business with Sarks for almost a year and hands down the best and most accommodating of any automotive service I’ve ever used.I recommend Sarks to family and friends and they all have used Sarks and are very pleased.Great People who seem to always care about their customers.To Jermey and Marie well doneThank you

Outstanding service - exceeded my expectations. This is the place to take your Porsche for service. They use all genuine and recommended parts at a fraction of the “stealers” service department prices. Nothing fancy here - just a group of certified mechanics that know their stuff.So refreshing to find a place like this; no monkey business - just honest, high-quality service with integrity.

Waited all day for a simple rotation and oil change, and the guys in the shop love using the “N” word. Bunch of horrible people. STAY AWAY !

They treat you like family and actually care about you and your vehicles needs. If they say you need it, you do. Its hard to find people you can trust but Jeremy is your man.

They have worked on 2 of my trucks now and done a great job of upfront communication and keeping me up to date as well as a timely turnaround.

Sarks came highly referred, and I can most definitely see why. Have had a few unfortunate experiences in the past with shops, so was hesitant to give another a try. However, the alternative of taking to a dealership and their inflated prices, wasnt an option I was willing to consider. Have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler JKU: my Dark Knight. Wanted one since I was a Middle School tween. Needless to say, am very protective of him. Sarks more than met expectations, they exceeded. My Knight needed shocks. The staff up front got me an appointment quickly and efficiently, that worked around my schedule. When the techs ran into the issue of having ordered the wrong shocks (my fault for not alerting them that a lift kit had been added), they called to share the details (which included they were overnighting the part) and apologized for the delay (which was very minor, only a day). Pickup and payment was a breeze, and the charge was very reasonable. A few days later, Jeremy text, following-up to inquire how my Knight was running. Couldnt ask for an all-around better experience! Great company with excellent customer service. I had a difficult situation with a warranty company and they helped my out tremendously. Theyre honest and trustworthy. I hardly ever do reviews but felt I needed to just to let others know how great they are.

I used to really love coming to Sarks. I hadn’t been there in over a year until here recently and I don’t know what’s changed but it isn’t good. I had my car towed there last Thursday and had to get a new battery for $250. This Wednesday I took it back because my check engine light came back on, air flow sensor wires were damaged and needed replacing. It cost me $240! Almost as much as my battery! And after leaving I looked at the receipt and $225 of that charge was for labor, the supplies only cost $15. I can’t help but feel ripped off. And this afternoon I started my vehicle and the check engine light is back on! And they didn’t tell me anything else needed to be fixed on Wednesday, assured me everything was fine. Starting to question if they know what they are doing. Another gentleman there on Wednesday said he’d been there several times that week and was wondering if they were tampering with people’s cars. I’m not sure what’s going on but I feel played.

I want to say what a wonderful staff and experience I had at Sarks Automotive. I was impressed with comments by others on Yelp so chose them to help me with my massive car issues. Candace, David and Josh were so helpful, courteous and friendly. They calmed me down about the repairs needed. I was dropped off, picked up from my house so saved me from Ubers, taxis, inconveniencing family/friends. I was assured that I didn’t have to have everything done at once but that they would do whatever would keep me driving safely til I could get the rest of the repairs done. I would and have recommended Sarks to everyone and will DEFINITELY go get the balance of repairs finished by them ONLY! I’m glad that I went with my instincts and am completely comfortable driving wherever I need to go from the time I picked up my car last week 😊

Their prices are affordable @ least what Ive had done. They always great you with a smile and respect even if you just stopped by and ask them for air in your tire. If you have an appointment they are waiting and ready to pull you in @ set time... Thanks Sark
