Not impressed. I found this store in a search for a wing nut driver online, listed as a true value location. The man was condescending to me as if I didn’t know what I was talking about, calling me “sweetie” and asking me to explain what it is to him. It’s a pretty explanatory part so I’m not sure why he took it upon himself to be rude. As a new resident, I wanted to support my local hardware store but if this is how they talk to women and to customers, no thanks.

Kinda shady how when you rent something on a Friday evening for 24 hours and they dont tell you that on Saturday they close at noon.....So make sure to have it back on time. Nor do they even go over rental hours at all. (Though I know its a 24 hour rental because I have used their rentals before.)Seems like Just wanting to stick the late fee to someone. Not cool.I go OUT of my way to come to your business rather than go to Walmart. Not anymore SlimShady! 🤬

I have done lots of business here for over 2 years now and have always been treated with respect and given all the help I needed. These guys seem to love what they are doing and are always easy to get along with given most of the time I need lots of help.

I bought a older home in Long Beach were I grew up. So I have tried to use local Businesses as much as possible for the repairs and remodel. But I can no longer use Walker. I expect the people I do business with to be honest and forthcoming. The owner of Walker is not. See I rented a sewer snake at 3:50 pm on a Friday. The store closed at 5pm so it wasnt due back until Monday. I dropped it off at 11:05 Monday and the man asked if I even used it because it was so clean.Then 3 days later I get a bill for 57 dollars and a new rental agreement with 2 days use on it and a note from the owner telling me the tool was due back at 9 am so because I was 2 hours and 5 min late I being charged for a 2nd day.This isnt how you do business. Ive spent well over $1,200 this year with Walker and I have about $40k in renovations still to do. So I told him if he choose to do business this way it his to do but I will never use him again. And his response was if I dont pay the $57.57 the disabled man that checked me out when I returned the snake will be forced to pay it. How pathetic.

The owner here is all about money. He rented us a sand blasting machine for 1300.00. We came all the way from delta State 5 hour drive. The equipment NEVER WORKED AT ALL.We had to put a hold on the job to go drive all the way to return the equipment. He still charge my company the full 1300.00.Thats bad business.

We had a problem with our bathtub drain, it is clogged to where the water comes ankle high at the end of a shower. I had my wife go there to pick up a snake for a bathtub drain. They charged her $35 and some change and when returned we got $12 and some change back. Which would have been an issue if they would have gave her the correct snake, the one they gave her was way to big to be going down a bath tub drain pipe. Needless to say it didnt work, either they are not knowledgeable in the business they are in or just took advantage of my wife not knowing what she picking up. Legal thieves in my eyes, will never step foot back in that store. If you want a good honest place to shop at for your plumbing and hardware needs go to LaRosas off beatline rd, i would give them a 5 star rating as to where i wouldnt even give walkers a 1 star rating if it was possible. If you like throwing your hard earned money away, then yeah go to Walkers Rental in long beach ms off pineville rd.
