This place is great! You always want a local hardware store in your neighborhood. Billings Paint & Hardware is located in the Belmont Shore community of Long Beach 90803. They always seem to have what I need. How do they do that? Great helpful staff!

Staff is so helpful. Their prices are a little higher than other stores but rents in the shore are crazy high. Doug Billings has been a champ during the pandemic to try and get the ppes everyone was looking for. He is, in my opinion, a community hero.

Its a cute little hardware store a little hard to get around in if youre in a wheelchair they do try to help you though not enough pride stuff but theyre ready for the 4th of July

This store is un-American. A manager shrilly ordered me to leave or else she would call the police. My crime? I refused to wear a face-diaper 14 months after Dr. Fascist promised “only two weeks to slow the spread.”

Great shop. Its an ace on 2nd street so it can be a little pricey but not too bad... Especially if you live close there arent many other options.. And they still have a massive selection.

My wife bought some tools and I tried to return but they refused to take back 3 items because it wasnt on the receipt. While we only have one receipt that was given. Its obvious that the cashier made a mistake while processing and now you guys dont own up to it.Customer service has been the worst in this incidence, at least I could have been offered store credit if not full refund. Your cashier and manager have not only successfully provided a poor service, but also lost on a regular customer. Never coming back and would not recommend others to either.

Its amazing to see how much stuff fits in this tiny store on 2nd Street! You name it and they will most probably have it.. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasnt for the prices, every item is probably double the price that what youll find at home depot or online.

Ive heard there is one helpful person in this ace but Im sure he must be over worked because Ive never met him. Asking for help in this store has been a terrible waste of time. They call every person in the store who say they dont have something, but in my experience at this store that means absolutely nothing. Maybe the toys outside are fun for the kids, but their hardware is more expensive than any other store in longbeach and for some reason most of the staff are too young to know a bucket of paint from an axe. I recommend the store on 4th street a couple of miles away or on Anaheim if you actually need something for the house

I forgot how great an old school hardware store is for finding random items. Believe or not it is hard to find a store to buy stock matches these days. But they had emergency! People there helpful. Nice feeling, small town customer service and products.

I’ve been here twice and both times they didn’t have what I needed. Lots of staff -very hard to social distance.

Surprisingly large selection for the space. Owner introduced himself and took his time to help me find everything I needed. Clerks were nice as well. 5 stars. I hope this place stays around for a long time

Craziest Ace hardware Ive ever been to! But I LOVE IT! This place literally has everything, I was joking when I asked for Saran wrap since I needed it and they literally had it! One stop place to shop.

The antithesis of the giant box store hardware store, but still with everything you need around the house (just a smaller selection than the bigger stores). A great local institution. Its two stories are packed to the gills with a wide variety of hardware. They also have a considerable seasonal stock that rotates through, so if you need beach toys or Christmas ornaments this is a good place to check.

Perfect experience. I walked in with a list of parts that I needed. They helped me immediately. They collected all my parts and rang me out. Later I needed to return some things. They were gracious wonderful people.

I was a very committed customer until they f____ed me. They sold me 2 faulty masked and refused to refund me. I will no longer be a customer. (They mask wouldnt stay on. It sold off nose.

Its like the opposite of the big box stores. Someone always asks me if I need help finding something. Lots of stuff in a small space. They have a great assortment of nuts and bolts and other actual hardware.

Billings has served the Belmont Shore and surrounding neighborhoods for nearly 60 years. I always go there before venturing out to a big box store. The owner is very involved in the community and continually puts his customers first.

Billings is a Belmont Shore institution. They have absolutely everything, from those funky old glass fuses to canning jars. If you havent bought it before, ask. They know where everything is in this little hardware store, which is packed to the gills. Great, personable service. Love this store!!

Besides a great selection of hardware, in the winter they a huge Christmas ornament section!

Im here a lot. Its like Mary Poppins bag or the Tardis... Smaller on the outside... I love that I can walk in and find what I need... Wall anchors? Yes. 6ft ladder? Check. French press? Yup. Full length mirror? Got it. Selfie stick? Say cheese. Merman Xmas ornaments? Of course - which US city? Call before, if you like, but they prolly have it. Happy to support this local business!!

Unhelpful staff, 3-4 people behind the counter. None offer to show me where item I was looking for was. Only gave directions of which I could not find it after 10 mins looking. Went back to beg for help!
