These places once called HD Supply Home Improvement are now an all NEW business with new owners calling it Contractors Warehouse. If you are looking for HD Supply, they are now online (no physical stores) with distribution centers that delivery your items, or in some cases allow for pick up only AFTER ordering online. Crazy as it might seem, employees are still wearing HD logo clothing at the newly names Contractors Warehouse. But it is NO LONGER that company. Buyers beware.

3 stars for mid rating. I like the store. Interesting time spent looking for needs and distractions are many. Trade off on service. 1 customer other then me and all the help was up front.

Inaccurate hours posted. Wasting fuel, and time. Big company should be on top of posted hours.

The mighty have fallen. Time was when you visited there you would meet people who knew where things were and could help you find things you couldnt. Aisles used to be well stocked. I wonder if the business is failing or if their supply chain is scuttled by the pandemic. There is a shortage of decent hardware stores in my neighborhood.

This store looks sad. The appearance of the store and its employees is no good. Not to mention a lack of basic drywall tools.They do have a good selection of doors amd a few other items.

I came her at 6:20pm on September 18, 2021 because Google said they were open till 8:00pm.They are already closed -_-The Google hours are wrong.

I stopped by at their facility yesterday with the intention to purchase all new cabinets for my kitchen. I asked for help in the cabinet department and was informed that I would have to wait for someone from that specific department. Finally, I was able to speak to a guy at the front of the store. I asked to go to the section again to see my options but he stated he had to stay in the front of the store. He assisted with trying to note down the measurements they had based on my measurements and style needed. I informed him I would be going back home to do a second round of measurements now based on their inventory to see if hey fit my kitchen. We returned today, the guy wasn’t there anymore so I asked someone else for help. They stated they would be sending someone right over to the department. A worker came and begin assisting us however when my dad was trying to ask him a question he began getting smart saying”well I’m telling you this is what we have” he had a very bad attitude. To top it off everything that we needed they didn’t have in stock. The worker kept asking for inventory check over the radio they would tell him they had x number of pieces but they didn’t actually have any in stock. He stated they would be able to call another store to do a physical check. I was there for over 3 hours and walked out empty handed. I was informed I can go to the next nearest location myself to see if they actually had the items because they only went based on their system.I never leave reviews but I was very upset at the way that we were getting tossed from worker to worker and getting nowhere. I decided to drive up to Carson and made my entire purchase their. They lost on a sale of almost $3,000 I would love to see what the manager thinks of that.

We ordered all our windows at HD and the last 3 orders that we had was all big that’s why we paid around $180.00 to deliver the 2 windows and 1 sliding door from Paramount store to Santa Fe in Long Beach. When the delivery came yesterday 10/23 only the driver and no other people with him. It end up my husband helped the driver to unload our orders from the truck. Good thing that my husband still at home or the driver may drag our orders just to deliver it. I’m so disappointed on your delivery service. If I knew that kind of service you have I should rent u-haul and we just do it our self. It’s a terrible experience and I will not go to HD ever again for our future renovation for our home.

We have yet to receive a bad experience. All the employees are pleasant and helpful. I hope they get AC units installed for them soon. I dont know how they work in that hot environment and carry on so well with customers they definitely earned the cool air! Hint hint @management

Great place to shop but I always have problems getting someone there to help me out in the parking lot just to put something in the car last time I waited and waited and waited and a customer actually help me out instead this time the girl said she would get somebody to help me and I waited and waited and waited until I finally broke my back and did it myself seems like the employees are not very helpful up front I will say that the warehouse person that got my sink down was awesome and did a great job. Not trying to bash feminism but I think they need to hire out a few more guys in the front with a little muscle sorry ladies.

Worst place ever both for drivers and buyers. The associates dont know nothing about on the job professionalism and they are biased against other races but Hispanics.

Cheap builder supplies. Owned by home depot, but geared toward the professional. The variety is not as diverse as the standard hardware store but the prices are better. The lumberyard is drive up which is helpful if your taking a larger load.

HD really takes care of business and its customers. Omar and his dedicated team always takes care of me and my company. The employees are always willing to help and give us great customer service. They always have all the materials I need and if not its ordered and coms in quickly. Thank you for all your help HDs management and great employees.

I went to HD Supply Home Improvement company in Gardena on January 22nd looking for a kitchen faucet. However they didnt have the kitchen faucet that I wanted in stock. The representative checked his computer and said that there were eight in stock at the HD Supply Company located in Paramount. So I went to the one in Paramount I didnt see any faucet on their shelves for I requested assistance. The representative requested for someone to come to the faucet department on his intercom to assist me. After waiting 15 minutes no one showed I went back up to the customer service desk to let them know and they requested assistance for me once again on the intercom. I waited additional 15 minutes but no one showed so I left unsatisfied. That was one wasted trip.

The employees were very helpful and friendly. An employee interrupted his break to immediately help me locate a door. He stood by with me while got phone conformation.

That is okay. Some employees are little irresponsible. Bit problem how process to return parts and supple. Prices are great.

Gosh went there to get a ferring strip $1.02,needed two had them guy say I have to drive in for the strips no I have them all I need is a ticket to pay,cant do it dont have a vehicle, asked the manager cant do it must drive through needless to say they were at the begining so no need to drive in spoke e another manager thats policy.. Needless to saying left without my strips..WOW no car no lumber... Not embellished....Such great customer service

Do not go or buy from this establishment. We went and bought 4 doors totaling well over $800 and customer service was non-existent. The purchase was made on December 8, 2018 at approximately 11am should the HD Supply owners actually care to look up the video.We are 3 women (ages 37, 41 and 61) and when we asked for assistance with pulling these doors from where they were placed onto the carts, the young girl who worked the register said No one can help you, you have to do it yourself.We frustratedly muscled the 4 extremely heavy doors (two wooden and two metal security) onto the carts that really do not hold doors well. We spent almost an hour finding doors that did not have dings or dents and out of respect we put the doors we did not want back in the right spots. In retrospect, we should have just left a mess since obviously the workers are too busy organizing than to help customers anyway.We went to pay for the doors and the same young girl who told us no one could help unfortunately had to ring us up. I offered to assist her in scanning an items barcode that was too high for her (she was short, hispanic, thin and held a bad attitude -- in case managers actually read this. Doubt it since I see no response on any other of the other reviewers). The young girl ignored me and instead made her job more difficult and asked for a taller female associate to tip the door... because apparently the nearly 6 foot associate couldnt have just scanned it for her. While they tipped the door I noticed that there was moister on the bottom of the wrapped security door. I asked if we could open to check if it was rusted and the girl asked with a balking yeah okay check it. After I checked it I started wheeling it away thinking that my partners mother had already completed the payment since they were in the mist of it while I checked the door, but instead the young girl said in a rude tone, Hold on, she hasnt paid! I stopped rolling the cart and waited patiently.After the long ordeal at the cash register was complete, my parter rolled one cart and I rolled the other. I had 3 doors on mine and so my partners mom was helping me. As we passed the threshold of the warehouse door, the doors slid off the cart and hit my partners mother and nearly missed my head (I grabbed it and yelled). Suddenly men (who I thought were Good Samaritans) came and helped me put them back on the cart. After a few moments I noticed they were wearing HD Supply vests. My thought was... Where the hell did they come from since the whole time we had been in the store there was no one to help us.They assisted us all the way to the rental pick up truck, and one of the security doors hit my partner on both of her shins. She now has severe bruising and pain.If my partner hadnt rented a truck for this project, I would have told her to have the guts unload the truck and return all the doors. I have never been in an establishment where they were willing to risk their customers being injured instead of offering assistance. Even while at the market, they offer you help if you have just a case of water costing less than $10... you would think over $800 and probably a weight of 10+ times more than a case of water (for each door) that this company would be more than happy to assist.Perhaps it was a social experiment for them to see how 3 women could do this task (Im sure the manager was watching on camera or at least someone should have been)... perhaps it was just purely bad attitude and laziness... or perhaps its just a horrible company with an equally moronic mission statement and way of doing business... whatever it may be, I will never enter that store again or any of the ones in the chain. Home Depot is closer to my house anyway... and they love helping me.

Awesome! If you need something or notice a defect on the merchandise they will replace, repair or reduce the price. We choosed to reduce price since the defect was minor and wouldnt be visible on the glass sliding doors.
