Awesome store wide variety of guns. The staff helped me decide on which machine guns to shoot. Dakota was an awesome safety officer and walked me through how each one worked. I shot a few different machine guns, but I highly recommend the SAW!

Decided to come check this place out and was not disappointed whatsoever! They have a wide selection of guns you can choose from to rent and shoot. Dakota was my instructor and he was very; knowledgeable, friendly, and made my experience that much better. I’ll definitely be back.

Ketzu helped myself and two friends through the WW2 package and the Gun Store package. His presence in the range was fantastic, keeping us comfortable and safe throughout the experience. As a first time shooter I would absolutely recommend asking if Ketzu can take you into the range.

About 4 or so years ago I took my initial 8 hour CCW course here at the Gun store and had a great experience with the instructor (I cant recall his name I think he was an ex Metro Officer)... The two ladies Sasha and Felecia for my Renewal 4 hour class I had this last Saturday the 14th of August was great. They had a great tone of voice that reached the entire room clearly with great instructional content that was straight to the point. I am looking forward to coming back again for my next renewal and hope to see continued successful outcomes when doing business with the gun store. Keep up the great work!

I was in the class fore a renewal of my permit. I learned more in this session with Sasha and Felecia than I did when I first took the class. They are excellent instructors and very organized with the material. They were very willing to answer questions from the class.

Tony has a life time of experience in law enforcement which makes the class not only informative but very interesting. If you want to shoot guns in Vegas, there is only one place to go; The Gun store. Its safe, well run, and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate you. The selection of rental firearms covers everything from beltfed, to semi, to bolt action and everything in between. You can even shoot Chewbaccas bowcaster!!! Ketzu is the man! Hes super friendly, as is the rest of the staff. Their retail section is top notch also. I cant wait to come back. Try the fully auto shotty!!

Very nice collection of guns. If you are a beginner they teach you how to hold and shoot. An instructor is present whole time while using gun. Very informative about the guns available. Price is reasonable. Social distancing is observed properly. I gave 4 stars because I would have loved to shoot in an open area rather than a closed room. It would have made the whole experience even better. Overall a really nice experience. Highly recommended!

Felicia and Sasha taught the CCW class. It was really well don’t. They kept it entertaining and gave great info. I took my original CCW class as another gun store and the instructor was so self absorbed to the point it wasn’t even a good class. I highly recommend taking the class . I also bought a new gun because I was so comfortable with them and their staff..Great job!!!

Ive passed by this place many times since moving to Las Vegas in 1996. However, today was my first time ever stepping in. Today will also be my last. Its not for me. I have visited 3 gun stores recently... Freedom Firearms, Nevada Tactical and The Gun Store. As an African American female and Army Veteran, I will have to go with Freedom Firearms. The staff and customer service was the best. Plus it is Veteran owned.

Went to a renewal class and was surprised that two women taught the class. They were awesome, covered alot in 4 hours time. Everything they covered was on the test.Those two women were very stern and take their job seriously. Educated us up coming laws that the gun haters are trying to pass.Actually it was a fun class.

Came to shoot some guns. Was not disappointed by the selection! All the guns you could want to shoot indoor plus some more. The hawaiian guy was a great instructor. Would seriously recommend to anyone looking to do shooting in last Vegas.

I love shooting full automatic Weapons at this Range, this is the only thing i do when i visit Las Vegas, if you are ever going to Visit Las Vegas, you should consider shooting here, there are several shooting ranges here in Las Vegas but this place is my favorite. at the time i visited in 2012, i bought thier 3-gun Packages, a 45cal Thompson Submachine Gun, its replacement M3 Grease Gun and M249 light machine gun.the Thompson Submachine Gun fire a 45cal ammo, is gun to shoot but its a Heavy Carbine to carry, the army then ordered a cheaper Alternatives and came up with the M3 Grease gun, its way cheaper to make and if it breaks, you just toss it away and it is not designed to be repaired. i like shooting the grease gun a lot better than the thompson, the rate of fire is slower and its lighter then the thompson.the M249 light machine gun is heavy, it is fed either by Chain linked ammo or M16 magazines, too heavy for me to left and fire like Arnold does in the movie ^_^

The CCW class was amazing! Felecia and Sasha made the class fun while they taught us about gun safety and basic gun knowledge. Took the CCW class here to renew my permit. This is my second time renewing my permit over the years and this class was my favorite. Sasha and Felicia were extremely knowledgeable and prepared. They delivered the class in a fun and easy way. Gun laws are constantly changing and they are so up to date I learned a ton. I want to send my girlfriend to them for her permit and I will definitely be coming back.

This is deff a great stop EVERY time we come to Vegas! If youre brand new to guns they absolutely hold your hand and make it less intimidating. If youre familiar with guns, the staff has the intuition and experience to make sure you have a great time and get to try out whats right and fun for you. Also, Ketzu (the Hawaiian guy) was my favorite person ive ever encountered there, he was so smart and funny and knowledgeable and really made my last trip there my most unforgettable! I cant reccomend this place enough, dont bother with any of the 2nd rate ranges youll see advertised around the city, jst go to the OG and the best!

I have gone here 3 times for CFP course. Usually only enjoy range qualification. But this time with Felecia & Sasha I actual enjoyed the whole course. Even @ the end when we were qualifying they actually were instructing a lady on what she was doing wrong & what to correct for next qualifying. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Something to try when you are in Vegas. Pick your riffle, buy some bullets and try it out in the indoor range. Pretty much any gun youve seen in the movies you can try out here.

The instructors for the concealed weapons course presented a thorough and knowledgable class to all that attended. You have two great instructors. Thery cover everything a person needs to know about CCW. The only thing I would recommend is how long a person has knowledge of what he or she is carrying. They should follow up on range instructions and practice getting used to their responsibilities for CCW. Again great course.

I’ve shopped at The Gun Store off and on for the past 20 years. There are much better ranges and gun stores in Las Vegas. Since COVID happened, customer service has gone downhill. Arrogant employees and store policies that make no sense.

NV CCW training at The Gun Store was competitively priced, and convenient. The service was excellent. Felicia and Sasha did a fantastic job teaching the class and running the range qualification. I was really impressed at how well they presented the material and handled everything. Next time Im up for renewal, Ill definitely look at doing it at The Gun Store again, and hope that Felicia and Sasha are still there teaching the class.

Great place. Really friendly employees from the start to the finish. Chad was our instructor for the guns we rented. Great guy and really made it a great experience. You can shoot your own guns w thier lead free ammo. Alittle pricey but its close to the strip so expected.

My wife and I gleaned a lot of knowledge from the Concealed Firearm Permit Renewal Course. Both instructors displayed a vast breadth of knowledge and seemed to genuinely care our well-being on the subject matter. The guest speaker, Tony Dee, inserted a dash of humor while at the same time spoke about a few relevant stories. A brilliant addition to the training. We highly recommend this course. The course is comprehensive and professionally given along with reasonable pricing. We also want to give a shout out to the personnel conducting the hands on (range) portion. The range officer displayed excellence with instruction and safety procedures. Even the associate behind the counter was eager to help and pleasant to deal with. Hats off to all The Gun Store staff!

Fantastic prices and great staff!One of the ladies who was helping me was nice enough to spend a decent amount of time showing me everything they had to offer. Not to mention she had some great advice on what kind of EDC pistol I was really looking for at the end of the day.

Dont even look like you smoke marijuana, they will deny service, but if youre off any other drugs believe me youre welcome but if youre African American male dont go spend your money here they dont want your business theyre going to look at you like why are you here dont touch our guns. Anybody who smokes marijuana do not use this gun store.

The CFP instructors (Felecia and Sasha) were very organized and knowledgeable. The class was run efficiently, with short breaks to keep everyone attentive. The classroom was set up to allow for distancing.

Came here for the ccw class it entertaining and informational. Coming from out of state where we do not have to take a 8 hour class I dreaded doing this, but there was plenty of breaks and the environment was great. I would recommended this class to anyone who needs a nv ccp

Came here for my CCW renewal class. The class was instructed by Felecia and Sasha; I gotta say, they’re so knowledgeable and I didn’t feel like the class was dreadful at all! They updated us on the new NV gun laws as well as refreshed us on gun safety. Both of them are very friendly, polite and professional. I’m so glad I chose to take my class here!

Great facility with great staff. Attending CCW recert. staff knowledgeable and covered information very well. . Any one needed to re-certify give them a try you wont be disappointed. Range clean not very crowded well ran. Target range is variable by electronic switch.

Brought my family in to practice before we try to qualify for CCW. The guys and girls here are so helpful and patient. They took theyre own time out to help my daughter who needed some help getting on target and forming a site picture. Within minuets her groupings became far more centered and clustered tightly. THANK YOU GUYS VERY MUCH!

The best shooting range in Las Vegas. They pick you up and drop you off make sure you ask for Big Steve as a driver and Chad as the instructor. Chad is fantastic so kind, and takes time to explain how each gun should be used. We had such a great experience the first time we went back again 3 days later and got a VIP package it was really worth it thanks to Chad.

Sasha and Felecia were very professional and knowledgeable. They made a class that could have easily been dry and boring very informative and interesting. I have had numerous firearms classes in the last 30 years but can honestly say that I learned new things today. Sashas comfort with the firearms and her apparent experience was inspiring and makes me want to explore and play with my own guns more! I would be very interested in taking a private range class with her, feeling safe with her and not as stressed as I have in the past with some range masters. I would absolutely recommend this CCW class for everyone, especially first timers and women.

We had a blast at the Gun Store. They have a variety of guns to choose from and the experience was phenomenal. I fell in love with the fully automatic AK-47. Well more than likely go back before we leave. The M-249 Saw is next on my list to try. The guys there are awesome. Will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in Las Vegas.
