The staff was so pleasant and helpful especially for 7 in the morning. Their menu is simple but full of delicious, quality ingredients. Im extremely grateful for the customization of my order. My king cake coffee was absolutely perfect with less sweetness. My egg stack on a croissant was delightful, the sundried tomato pesto mayo complimented the bacon, gouda and avocado like a dream. Even though we got to-go I wouldnt have minded hanging around. The interior was clean and cozy and looked like a good place to curl up with a book or have late night conversations with friends. I wish I lived closer!

Free parking on the street, and parking lot on the east side / to the rear. Atmosphere was very welcoming. The lady working the counter was friendly. I had a regular cold brew and it was tasty. I didnt try the food, but it sounded good. If youre in a hurry, this may not be the best place to visit. Otherwise, a nice cafe.

This is a Great coffee shop...the atmosphere is wonderful, the live music a piano/keyboard player he was really good. The food is absolutely Delicious...the benietswere the absolute best I have had (So light they melted in my mouth)😋and I have been to New Orleans several times. I will definitely visit again🤩🤩🤩

They make really good coffee drinks! My son and I have been a few times so far and their beignets are very light and fluffy. I only give 4 ⭐️ they need more help, especially during peak times, as well as more drink options.

Service can be a bit slow during peak hours, but the atmosphere is great and they have free wifi so it isnt too bad. There was a cool old man with an awesome beard playing guitar in the corner.

What an AMAZING Coffee House hidden in the Lake Charles Downtown Historic District. Upon walking in the Vibe was Great! Every single item we purchased was Delicious & I ate one of The Best Breakfast Sandwiches Ive had in my 38 years of life....the Titan was SCRUMPTIOUSLY Perfect!The staff/owners were Super Friendly, the prices were right, the atmosphere was inviting, everything was clean, the food was Delicious & Fresh, & the Coffee was roasted in house & Hit the Spot w/the Perfect balance of Bold/Smooth/Sweet!

YES! Delicious coffee & I was lucky to get the last order of beignets !!! We were just passing thru on our way home to Colorado, and absolutely loved the vibe of this spot. I hope this coffee shop, with cheery & perky employees, continues to succeed! I loved all the local art, & colorful artists in rimmed glasses sitting at tables and drawing in notepads. To add to the beauty, the rain began to downpour with door wide open, and just as quickly was gone. Typical Louisiana love story: one minute she’s here & the next she’s gone. Thank you to whomever created this space & the employees that hold down that vibe.

Found this coffee shop while looking for brunch while in Lake Charles. Was a bit wary about stopping here but one step inside the cafe was it for me. Parking was on the street. Inside the atmosphere is chill with pop culture reference all around, star wars more heavily. The cafe is medium sized with tables lined up against the left side and sofa lounge area towards the middle right. The cashier was friendly and patient as it was my first time there. I had a latte and blueberry muffin. The muffin was moist and delicious and the latte was smooth. I had a hiccup with my husbands order but overall it was very chill. There are paintings along side the wall for sale. I give it a 5 star for atmosphere and 5 star for the food.

Everything was out of this world good! Even the cute dog named Kevin that came in with his owner was friendly and super cute! We will definitely stop here again when in Lake Charles!

One of the best coffee shops I’ve been to in a while. A few outdoor tables and also saw a very clear focus on keeping the inside safe with everything going on. Big bonus points there. The turmeric chai latte was the best I’ve had (I know I will like it so I order it often but often at other places am let down). Sadly now the bar has been set high haha. I also had a breakfast sandwich that was excellent and can’t say enough about how welcoming and attentive the two ladies working there were. Even though I was just passing through they made it feel like I’m a regular local customer. With the damage that Lake Charles received recently, I was happy to give even a little business to a local shop, but would definitely pass through again and stop here if I’m in the area. Highly recommend.

I was passing through Lake charles from Beaumont and I needed a quick caffeine rain. So I looked for the best coffee house in lake charles and stellar did not disappoint. Its located in downtown LC. My barista was Caitlyn and she was full of life. She recommend the snickerdoodle (?) For my latte. It was great. Had also the chocolate muffin which complemented the whole coffee experience. Atmosphere is very inviting. Service was fast. Caitlyn is very knowledgeable.Come visit Stellar.

Great atmosphere and good coffee. Loved that there was a local artist out front making pottery. Its cozy with diverse options in seating. Ill definitely be back next time I come through Lake Charles.

Quaint little place we found on our way driving through town. There was a live musician on a Sunday morning and he was really good. The coffee was excellent. Much better than Starbucks. Robust and full flavored. The breakfast options were pretty good too. Not mind blowing, but they did the job of complimenting the coffee properly. One of the waitresses was short with us a couple of times, but it seemed like she was stressed and having a bad day, so didnt want to dock the star review. All in all, cool place.

They have a lot of tables and it is very comfortable; one of those places you will go to seat down for a while, maybe to do some homework or just to seat down and relax. We loved our first visit here! We weren’t feeling coffee, so we got some Italian sodas with cream to go with our English muffins with eggs, bacon, and cheese. Sandwiches were scrumptious and the sodas were yummy. We also had a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese that was very good. Overall atmosphere was perfect for a small coffee shop....the live music was a cool plus too!

Every time I go, I see the a very intimate environment where everyone knows your name and your usual drink. The sandwiches are always tasty. Ask for one to be made with love, as they are the best. The coffee is strong and good. Expect to be awake at the end of a good cup. It is the place to get coffee. Skip Starbucks and enjoy one of Downtowns best kept secrets.

An old school coffee shop, which is a positive compared to a colder modern style place. They have house brews of coffee and tea, fresh muffins and similar pastries. The walls feature diverse local art and live music is hosted on a scheduled basis. Good spot!

Always excellent service and plenty of options. They serve breakfast and lunch as well. This is a wonderful place to hang out with friends, read, play board games, or just relax on your own. Theres art on the walls from local artists and frequent live music, poetry, etc. Its where art and coffee collide!

Stopped here traveling across Louisiana. Right downtown just off of I-10 so very convenient. I had a Latte with was nice, not bitter or watered down. My wife had the ginger lemon tea and she said it was excellent. Wed definitely try to stop here again.

I love how they can duplicate any coffee order you ask for and breakfast anytime of the day! This place has an Ambiance about it that is so wonderful! If youre ever in the area I highly recommend trying this place for coffee and a meal.

This is a great place to hangout. It has good drinks, decent food, and fun activities. Plus they have chess boards. But my favorite thing about Stellar Beans is that they have gluten free muffins (I think they may be Vegan, but not 100% sure) and will substitute dairy milk for almond milk!

Went here for the first time just recently. The vibe is legit. Lovely artwork and lots of books and novelties on the shelves. It smells like coffee mixed with an antique store. I ordered a wet cappuccino and a chocolate muffin and both were great.

Good coffee shop. Theyre knowledgeable about the coffee they sell and can make great espresso drinks. Much better to support your local coffee shop than to keep visiting the same old chain everywhere you go. Especially when the coffee is much tastier here than at you know where.

Coffee wasnt bad, probably the best coffee option for a Sunday morning in Lake Charles. However the bitter smell of burnt oil from the beignet fryer permeates the place. This was our first time here. We were visiting the area on vacation and my husband and I loved it. Not only were the drinks great but some local young people were singing and playing music. Very nice!!!

Stellar is a nice little shop if youre looking for a comfortable place enjoy great coffee, tea, soup and sandwiches. The baristas are genuinely nice and the place doesnt have a corporate chain feel about it. Along with the normal chairs and tables of a coffee shop, there are coffee tables and couches as well as live acoustic musicians, poetry readings, art, comedy and live play performances. Its like sitting in your living room with friends, but more entertaining.

The atmosphere was warm, comfortable, and the staff were friendly. If youre looking for an okay coffee that you can enjoy with friends, Stellar does do a good job. If youre looking for artisanal, hand-crafted coffee, however, the offerings are disappointing. Specifically, the pour overs are not well done if done at all.

This is one of our favorite places to meet with other folks in our film-making community. We held our monthly meetings there and I always enjoyed the coffee. I have only eaten a few dished there, but each has been good. There is a great collection of games to play. There are sometimes DVDs or CDs to trade. I even saw a family doing their Christmas presents one day. Good location downtown and cool vibe. Oh, and local art on the walls for you to enjoy and even purchase if you really like it.
