I received the most beautiful surprise arrangement yesterday! The flowers were carefully placed by my front door, and included a card with a message. The entire bouquet is STUNNING and it completely took my breath away! I’ve never seen orchids so unique, and all the flower together reminded me of Hawaii. So here I was, a week away from taking my wife to Laguna Beach for her birthday, when I got the idea to surprise her with some local flowers. I searched online for a local LB florist and after reviewing websites, photos and customer reviews, decided to make a call to Flowers by Sabour. I was short on time and explained to Maryam Sabour that I wanted to surprise my wife with 2 dozen roses for her big (lets just say 21st, and leave it at that) birthday, but I didnt just want flowers, no I also wanted rose pedals a specific bottle of champagne and a birthday balloon, oh and I needed them delivered to the villa at the resort we were going to be staying at before we arrived. Maryam combined the roses into a beautiful arrangement, added personal touches to the champagne box placed rose petals throughout the villa and in a heart shape in the master bedroom (per my request) along with a birthday balloon. Needless to say my wife was soooooo surprised and happy. She said it made her birthday feel so special. I was so impressed that Maryam was able to handle my requests and make the surprise a reality without any issues, all from a phone call and a few texts. Exquisite arrangement! I am not familiar with florists in Orange County, so I Googled Best Florists and poured over many websites, photos and reviews. I was sending an arrangement to a dear friend whose mother had died the week before Christmas and I wanted the arrangement to arrive on Christmas Eve day. When I called Flowers By Sabour and spoke with Maryam Sabour, who is the owner and designs all the creations, I was struck by how kind she was and although incredibly busy, took a great deal of time to speak with me about what I was hoping that this arrangement would express. My friends mother was a joyous, elegant lady and my friend is a lovely person with great style. I didnt want a floral arrangement that was about death, although of course, that was part of it. I wanted something soft and beautiful that would be about life and love with a touch of Christmas. Ms. Sabour sent me two photos of the arrangement when she had finished it (something we had not touched on) and let me know when it was on its way. This is the kind of service and attention to detail any customer would love to receive and that you might hope to get from someone you work with often. I was simply a voice over the phone but it is obvious to me now, that no one is just a voice over the phone to Ms. Sabour. My friend loved the arrangement and when we spoke this morning, she told me that it looks as fresh as the day it was delivered which also speaks to the quality of the flowers that Maryam Sabour works with. I rarely write reviews but I would be very remiss to not thank Ms. Sabour publicly for her artistry and kindness and to tell her how much they are appreciated.

I contacted Sabour to see if I could get a specific flower for a friend, that had very special meaning, on a very important day. She went out of her way to make this happen for me. She contacted her supplier that same day ( on a Sunday ) and let me know right away that she could get them. The delivery was a bit tricky on my part, and she worked with meto be sure that went smoothly as well. I was rather nervous about it, since I don’t live in the area, and wanted to be sure it all came off as planned. Sabour did not disappoint! I found her through Google and was so very pleased! She and I worked together via text since I was coming in from out of town and she made the perfect wedding bouquet for me. She even delivered it. I could not have been more pleased and I will always remember her and her incredible work because of the gorgeous flowers in all of my pictures.

I shopped around to purchase flowers for the Holidays and thought it would be nice to use a local florist instead of a big chain florist. I txt and let Sabour know how much money I had to spend. A few days later I checked my bank records and saw that I was overcharged $28. When I called to tell her about the mistake she started yelling at me and told me the flowers weren’t cheap and I needed to call other florists to compare her prices. This wasn’t the point, we agreed on a price which I have proof of through txt message and then she decided to add $28 additional.I finally hung up because there was no reasoning with her and told her I’d dispute with my CC company. Then she started txting me threatening to go back to the house to pick up the gifted Holiday arrangement. The threats lead into the following day. By this time it was a week after the delivery, and she was going to pick up the old flowers? Order at your own risk people. The lack of customer service and professionalism is absurd. The flowers weren’t even work the $75 I agreed to pay.
