Girls working last night RAN to lock the door in myself and two other friends faces right after we arrived. We arrived almost 10 minutes before closing. Then they proceeded to laugh and dance right in the window while looking at us. Disrespectful. It’s one thing to close, another to be disrespectful. Will never go here again.

This place is one of a few left in San Diego. It’s in beautiful La Mesa with a lot of college urban/hippie places to eat for lunch. Parking can be a hassle depending on what time you go. The staff are always super nice and even offers free cup of water for customers. We are always greeted when we walk in.

We always buy ice cream pies, cakes or pizzas for special occasions. Sometimes we just go on a hot evening. The location can be a tad hard for parking when other businesses in the small complex are busy as well.Staff was fast and friendly.

I took my grandson for ice cream and we cant wait to go back! 😋

Im totally down for wearing a mask. But we forgot our masks at the hotel. We are fully vaccinated so not too worried. They did not have masks for customer use but still require them so asked us to step out. We went somewhere else.

Always a great place for ice cream. Large selection, unless you are looking for no sugar added ice cream. Usually only one no sugar added at a time.

The sherbert to me is the best there is. Its soo good they should make a sherbert cake. I hadnt been to a baskin robbins in a while but after today im deffinately coming back soon .and great customer service from the 2 young girls behind the counter. Good job girls.

Family has been coming here literally every day for a few years. Everyone that works here is amazing! Love all of the girls working there. The owner is so welcoming and crafts the most amazing cakes. We’ve already had 2 served in our home these last few weeks for various celebrations!They did a great job with adjusting to the new Covid-way of business: They’re very clean and professional.Even though we are in a different part of town, whenever we have a hankering for BR (ice cream, Blasts, or a cake) we drive all the way to La Mesa just to have them take care of us. They’re our favorite place in SD for desserts.

Im always happier when Ive had dark cherry jubilee ice cream in a cone! Its a summer memory.

I ordered an ice cream cake for my birthday. I was very specific on the phone. I asked if it was decorated with Whip cream or Butter cream because my family does not like the whip cream. She told me it would be frosted with butter cream. When i opened the cake at the party i found that all the icing was in whip cream. I called the store and was told someone would call me Monday. As my family does not like whip cream, we did not eat the cake. Tuesday, Michelle called me to tell me that the person who took the order was not correct and they only frost in whip cream. I told her i was very specific and wanted only Buttercream. Her attitude was very abrasive and she said that the person did not write that down and that they could give me a store credit for 50% of the cake. Had she just had a better attitude i would have said, no problem, mistakes are made. But she is rude and abrasive and I am done giving money to shops that dont know how to treat customers. My kids and i go to this store after music lessons every week, However, I will not be going to this store again. I will warn my friends not to go to this store ever. I can not say they ruined my birthday because the cake was inedible in our opinion, but my family was really disappointed.

This location in La Mesa has been there for a long time. Always clean, stocked, and friendly staff - this place has a large selection of clown cones, which are my absolute favorite! They have two huge coolers for ice cream cakes, clown cones, and ice cream pints. They also have a great selection of favorite flavors.I go to collect my free birthday scoop, and always have to have a Clown Cone too.I love this place! Thank you for being great!

Yesterday I bought an “Oreo ice cream cake” for my husband’s birthday and what a surprise when we cut the cake and it had vanilla bread instead chocolate bread... 🙁 very disappointed!!! we use to love this ice cream cake but I don’t know what happened this time. It was frustrating seeing everybody eating only the ice cream and leaving the bread on the plate... especially my husband... not good!

Their Nutty Coconut is my new favorite. The La Mesa location has super friendly staff.

The staff is very nice and professional. The ice cream is DELICIOUS! I wish I could eat there every day! The parking lot is tiny and busy, but theres street parking.

Baskin Robbins ice cream parlor is located at the corner of Glen St.. and La Mesa blvd. There are usually 2 or 3 young ladies serving up some great yummy flavors! There are tables and chairs to sit and enjoy your treats! Also videos are shown on large screens, showing fabulous ice cream cakes. (Order for a special occasion!) They offer a large pitcher of water, cookies, ( I love the macadamia ones!) YUM! Birthday cake!

Today they were advertising that thete is free uce cream today. But when i got there they said it was only through door dash. So why would you advertise it if its only through doordash

The place has been awesome since I was 7 years old. Its been here for 50 years. I told the young ladies working there I came here with my sister from my grandmothers house with 1.00 to get us an ice cream cone back in the day. They just appeared dry and uninterested. Personally I thought it was a great story.

Fantastic ice cream and a very patient and friendly staff. It gets crazy crowded here just before closing and there isnt a lot of room for a clear line. But the staff handles it all very well. If they added one more person to the closing shift on weekend nights, I think everything would run much smoother and theyd get that 5th star.

Went here for my sons 15th birthday. We all tried the played sundaes and they were really good. 3 small scoops of ice cream with hot fudge and Oreo pieces. Super yum!

Ice Cream is good. I think we overwhelmed the employees when we brought in 5 kids. Which, I think they might want to get used to kids, because kids love ice cream and adults like bringing kids to ice cream.

Great just as any baskin robbins but they would not honor our birthday coupon because there was an electronic error, which I understand. For all they know I was lying, but it was just disappointing.

Terrible customer service. We went in at 9:45pm. They close at 10pm. All of the ice cream was covered and the floor was wet and being mopped. I heard the two women grumble when we came in for our couple of post movie scoops, a favorite tradition of ours. They asked us what they could help us with while glaring at us. Well everything was covered and put away. Needless to say they couldnt have made us feel any more unwelcome. We left and will not be going back after decades of getting ice cream there. And Ive always over tipped these two, who have been working there for a while. So much for building good business relationships. I hope the owners take note.

They have the flavors I wanted, Rocky Road and Mint Chocolate chip. The one in Santee didnt have them. So La Mesa is better.

Called asking for a half roll vanilla Ive cream cake. Person told me they had it available. I drove from Kearny Mesa to this store in 5-6:00 pm traffic. Got to the store and they didnt have that roll cake; their half roll cake is like a birthday cake. I asked the girl who I spoke with as she had alreadt left and she refused to give me the name. Great service Baskin Robbins. It seems each store makes their own type of roll cakes.

The cashiers are nice, but that cant cover up the smell of old drains. The place has been there forever,and has fresh ice cream and ingredients, bit more s in desperate need of a makeover and some HVAC upgrades.

Great staff and very helpful. Mother in law in the hospital did not believe us when we said they had butterfinger for their shakes so the manager gave me a small container and she picked our large butterfinger pieced to put in.I delivered the ice cream and started eating the pieces in front of my wife and her mom at the hospital. They asked what I was doing and I said: Oh, nothing, Just eating large chunks of butterfinger I got from Baskin-Robbins. Want some?A great experience overall.If it were not for Baskin-Robbins giving their entire database to the US government to put people on the rolls for the draft for the Vietnam war, theyd get 5 stars. This kind of data sharing with the government can never be forgotten or forgiven because we know now other companies have also voluntarily shared private data which violates the public trust. I am not a privacy hawk or eccentric, I just think we cant forget where we live and the rights we feel should feel are protected by our Constitution.

Baskin-Robbis, is a nice place is very small in my opinion, they do have manny flavors and also ice cream cakes, alittle over priced. I like to visit when theres an event because is sheap when you have more that two kids. The parking is very limited if you visit on a busy day.

My wife and I stopped by for a treat and 31 flavors lived up to their reputation, they were happy to let us sample whatever we wanted. Thank you Baskin-Robbins
