We had originally rented from Uhaul in powell near Johns barbershop. We got there and no truck, even though they had our reservation in the system. We were sent to the 4705 Clinton hwy location. We got there and the manager Glenn took great care of us. They had a 26 footer and we out of there in about 10 minutes. Truly professional!

I just want to give a shout out to the amazing owners of this business. My husband and I plus our 3 children where rear ended in a pretty bad wreck right in front of their store. The kids were shook to the core. Instead of being mad that the accident had blocked their driveway to the business. They sent out an employee with Popsicles to help comfort my three boys. I cannot say enough good things about this business. America needs more people like yall. You will forever have our business.

I came to purchase a brake controller and Glenn was great and very friendly help. To me he deserves above average pay. You need to keep him, he is a top notch employee.

I have used this location every time I need moving and have never had any issues. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone needing Uhaul services.

Service is slow here or maybe it was just because of the time I visited but I noticed the same people working at the desk have to go out to pull out trucks. A good system would have people dedicated to that so people who have just come to the store to get moving supplies dont have to wait in line as long as I did.

Customer service is a joke here . Sent my wife in to see about making a reservation and she walked in to the young man behind the counter arguing with a customer and telling her she could just get out his face. She came back to the car and we left and went to the Kingston pike location where the customer service and demeanor of the employees was A1. These guys need some training.

Waiting 10+ minutes for someone to finally come to the desk. Glenn assisted me and asked me for a name and I gave him my first name. He couldnt find it, so then he rudely said I need another name then asked for my phone # and found it, then said we use last names for the reservation as if I was born with that knowledge. Then when I finally got the keys all he said was its that truck out the window as if there wasnt 4+ outside. Paid for dolly that I didnt get, furniture pads not there nor was my box for the TV I paid an extra $20 for. Never will use again as I used Penske on Heiskell and had the best service ever.

Great service! Shout out to Nancy who helped me and my wife and she even let our English Bulldog Tank ride with her upfront as she backed our auto transport into a parking spot like a professional!

Went to rent a pickup truck from here. Showed up in person and made a reservation, and confirmed the store would be opening at 7am the following day. When I went to pick up my truck, the store was closed and several other disgruntled customers were also waiting outside. After 8am and still nobody...we left and went elsewhere.

Website, store hours, and person we spoke to on the phone all said Uhaul on Clinton Highway would be open at 7:00 am. Waited for close to two hours before we left due to them not being open. Waste of time. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Great location for moving trunk rentals

Waited 30 min to try and get propane tank filled. No acknowledgement that I was even here.

I made a reservation on Friday, they did not have the van, due to another customer not returning the van on time, so I rescheduled for today to get the van. I had originally ordered a van from Clinton Highway, not only did they not have a record of my order, my reservation was not rescheduled. They sent me to another location completely out of my way in which I had to pay more for gas than I would have returning the van to the clinton highway location. When I arrived out there the staff had my brothers name saved under the reservation rather than mine. This lack of organization, service and professionalism is unacceptable. I have always used uhaul to help me move and after this experience I will not be coming back.

I will never do business here again. The girl working the counter on Sunday 6/21/2020 was rude and unhelpful in every way possible. I get not wanting to be at your job but Ive been in customer service for 10 years now and I would never be so rude and unwilling to help one of my customers as this girl was. I will be canceling my unit with them and doing business with the Chapman hwy location as they were so friendly and helpful. The guy working there Sunday however was super kind and willing to help but she completely ruined the entire experience for me.

Jason B. helped with the trailer attachments and safety inspections, strap recommendations, photos, and went beyond excellence with my questions and concerns, and this was after he was off the clock. Both were very helpful even when working with other customers. Highly recommended, professional, curtious, excellence. If only all humans were like them, this would be a better world.

Only one person working the desk. No sense of professionalism. Eating snacks, talking with food in his mouth. Never asking for help on the desk. Waiting 15 minutes just to pick it up.

I will never again use them for anything they over charged my card 62 dollars then charged me 87.44 Ive been on the 1800 number for a hour getting the run around and nobody is trying to help me I do not recommend them for trucks .

Had to make a last minute move. I didnt have that much stuff and wasnt sure if I was comfortable driving the smallest box truck, even though I technically can, so I decided to rent a pickup truck, even though they are the same price and would be gave more protection. Well, I walk in through the door, and I recognize the voice that said hi. I didnt wanna get my hopes up too high, but come to find out, I was right. It was Jason. We go way back. I consider him my cousin. Anyway, Im very proud of him for doing his job and making it as easy on me as possible. It was a lot better doing it myself than paying to move my stuff or ask somebody in my family to help me move. I will definitely be back if I ever need help again. This place deserves more than 5 starsEdit 1/21/20: Had to rent a pickup truck again to get a part I needed for my car. I thought it was gonna be hard, well it took no where near as long as I thought it would. I couldve drove my dads van but I didnt want him to make me feel like I was in a hurry. So, I figured do this. I couldve taken a Lyft ride but I couldnt have brought what I needed to get the part off. I really thank God for this place, because Idk what I wouldve done. I was in the area to buy a motorcycle and picked up a trailer from here. Anthony was great and got me fixed up with what I needed for a one way rental. After taking the trailer and looking at the motorcycle - finding out the seller lied about its condition and that it was actually a POS, I returned the trailer.I was hoping for a refund of the one way price and was looking to pay for just a local rental. Nope, Anthony fixed me up and said as the trailer wasnt used (I returned it within an hour), there would be no charge at all.If Im ever in the area again I will absolutely use this dealer - and as a result of his great customer service I will look to U-Haul in any other city I may need a rental.

It was stupid easy to go through the rental process, the ride was comfy, no issues. The move was a hard and tedious one that took an extra day. Uhaul was happy to accommodate.When we pulled into return our truck after hours. Jason Bryant helped us check in and all I can say is. Now that is service. Checked out of the vehicle and on the way out in under 3 minutes. 10/10. Ill be moving again in the future and you know Ill be using uhaul.

Reserved uhaul motorcycle trailer. Great experience cheap 16 bucks and quick service picking up and dropping off. I rented a medium sized box truck a yr ago same experience great! Thanks guys keep up the good work.

Unprofessional worker who called a customer a crackhead when she left the building. Highly recommend supporting people who dont treat their customers in this way. The tech working in the yard also told me to leave my emergency break on while the car was hooked to the dolly, ruining my brakes and causing me to spend lots of money on repairs. Budget also is a horrible company. Theres just no winning when you have to move.

This place is terrible.Use a different location

These guys came in handy back in August 2014 when dad passed away and left behind a bunch of stuff that we had to slowly get rid of via renting one of their storage bins. Weve always been able to count on U-Haul everytime we have to move from one local to another, which we did quite often back in the 1970s when dad was a travelling musician.

The representative at this location was fantastic. He was very professional, but also very informative and friendly. This location has always been great with giving me the best pricing available.

Im so sorry for not grabbing the guys name that we talked to but he was a great guy. Everything was quick and painless and we had a truck on the road in 5 mins.Then when we returned it there was no nonsense.

Weve rented trucks & a storage unit. The unit was clean but no access after hours & they raised price twice in our 8-9 month stay. The last time we rented a truck, rental was a bit more expensive but we reserved a truck anuway. They gave our truck to someone else which caused a 2 day delay in our out-of-state move, which also caused major problems at our destination but in the end, all was well.

Excellent prices and lots of different products in stock. Guy was super nice, not surly like the idiots down on Broadway. I will be going to this one from now on.

Great service and reasonable pricesOnly problem with this location is the parking is terrible, theres like 3 spots. If you rent a 26 foot truck and need to bring it back, it can be difficult if you are traveling West on 640 and take the Clinton Highway exit. Youll have to make a pretty difficult left turn that will more than likely cause you to have to back up to make the turn.

After a HORRIBLE experience with Budget (I reserved a truck, then went to pick it up later only to find out they didnt have me a truck and stated all the trucks on the lot were for other customers - feel free to scroll through my reviews to check out the problem I had with them), the guys at U-Haul were GREAT!They got me a truck right away, pulled it to the front of the business, and had it running with the keys in it waiting for me. They even price-matched Budgets price and hooked my car up to a tow dolly.I told the guy at the counter about my issues with Budget, and he shook his head and laughed, and told me I should always check U-Haul first. Truer words have never been spoken. I will never even consider Budget and their horrible customer service and RUDE employees.Thanks, U-Haul, I guess there is a reason you guys are #1, and it starts with customer service.They saved my trip, and turned my bad day completely around :) 5 stars all the way!

Were currently waiting in line. They have one person working the desk and going to get the trucks. Parking is terrible. Theyve got 2 spots out front but its a one way with no room for turning around.

I had an awful experience renting a uhaul from this location!!! First, i drove in from out of town so i reserved the truck over the phone. The employee i spoke to on the phone did not even know the store or uhaul policies. I specifically asked how much cash i needed to bring with me to rent the truck and was told 46.51. And that was adding extra milage just to be safe. When i got to the store i was told 100 deposit was needed before i could rent the truck. And the owner of the store said he had no clue who Tristan the emokoyee i sooke to earlier that day was. Then when i returned the truck they said the gas was low and was going to charge me over 20 dollars for an eigth of a tank....even tho i brought it back with what gas was in it when i left! I did however rent the truck for one additional day. Adding 29.95 to my total cost...and some how even after i left again with the truck and put more gas in it (returning it now with more gas in it than what it had when i picked it up) i was charged 109 dollars!!barEven after they took off the 20 something dollars they were trying to charge for the eigth of a tank of gas!!! So it costed me a total of 150 to rent a uhaul for 2 days and barely put 50 miles on it! The owner has no customer service skills what so ever and id say they tack on extra to everyones bill hoping the customer is stupid enough to not notice or say anything! The last time i moved across town i rented a uhaul from a different location and spent a grand total of 64.81!!!!! I am totally unsatisfied. And would not recommend this location to ANYONE!!!!!!

A little pricey

They usually have the equipment that we need. The staff is starting to not care or take as much pride in their work as they used to. (ie asking us to disconnect trailers, smoking in front of us hooking our equipment up.)

So my awful experience started when they shut the doors at 6:59pm after maybe 7 phone calls and no where they decided to not talk to me for 30 minutes or so then they pick up the phone and say that no more trucks are available for online pick up in my area, not only were they rude about this but almost like a laugh in my face Im glad they will never get the opportunity to earn my business.
