Bliss Home is a great place to look for ideas and shop. I’ve bought several major pieces from the Knoxville store and have gotten wonderful designer advice. And a big plus - there is no pressure.

My wife and I bought a glider and ottoman for our nursey here. The ONLY reason we bought it from Bliss home was that they had it in stock. Apparently these chairs are on a 30 to 40 week back order due covid related supply issues. Bliss still has some in stock because they charge around 150% of what other stores do. Overall we had a very negative experience with the store. We found the sales staff to be rude if responsive at all. We noticed pricing for all items in the store were higher than other comparable stores. I understand it is a locally owned business, but honestly who cares? The only difference between Bliss and other stores is inflated pricing and poor customer service.***EDITED TO ADDRESS THE OWNERS REPLY***Claiming that a ~$400 markup is due to differences in fabric grade is one thing. Claiming to have explained this to me in the store is simply not true. Either way, I have checked the chair and the tags that we removed from the chair. There is no indication that the fabric is different from that offered by other stores.Since the owner may be confusing me with a different customer, Ill provide some more context to my experience below:When I originally called Bliss to inquire about the chair I asked if price matching was available. I was told that they would price match, but not to any of the stores I mentioned as they were larger stores and Bliss is a small locally owned business. The sales associate told me she would ask about it and call me back. She never called me back.Since no other store had the glider in stock, I visited Bliss in person. I told the sales associates that I wanted to buy the glider and ottoman, and asked why it was priced so high. He explained that they couldnt get the same pricing as other stores because they were a small locally owned business that offered better customer service and support than the big stores. He even told me he could show me the invoice for the chair as proof. I agreed to look at it, but he left without ever showing it to me.I told the other sales associate there that we still wanted to buy the glider and ottoman. She told me she would use a coupon to take the sales tax off of the glider to help us out. Then, she added $50 to the price tag of both the ottoman and the glider when she rang us up. She changed it back when my wife pointed it out to her.I came back the next day with a truck to pick up the glider and ottoman. To my surprise, I was told that I could not pick up the furniture I had already paid for until I signed a form stating that I had purchased them AS IS and that I would not hold Bliss responsible for any defects or issues. Maybe they should have informed me of this BEFORE I paid for everything? Maybe this is all part of the improved customer service and support they offer over other stores? I was told that the form was necessary because Bliss is a small locally owned business that cant absorb the potential cost of damaged furniture.Honestly the price didnt matter. This was the glider my pregnant wife wanted, so we were going to get it for the nursery regardless of it being overpriced. We were never rude or pushy about the price difference, and it is certainly fair to ask about such a large discrepancy. I wouldnt leave a negative review over the price gouging alone. Im leaving a negative review because shopping at Bliss was comparable to pulling teeth.As Im editing this review Im just now realizing that the small business excuse was given for every issue I encountered. I just looked it up, and Bliss has multiple locations across two states... Thats different than the Mom and Pop shop image I received from the sales associates, and just one more reason for me avoid Bliss in the future.

Brett and Alison were amazing from start to finish.  They listened to me and then designed the perfect rooms for our new home.  Their attention to detail is incredible.  The best part of the experience for me was how they listened to me and what we had in mind.  We had ideas but were not sure how to make them a reality as I had never done this before. If I wasnt sold on something...no problem, they would send another idea. They were determined that to make sure that I LOVED everything.I highly recommend them!! On another note, we had one stool break, so I called Brett. There was no question!!! They apologized and set about finding us a better replacement and refunded the cost of the returned item. Bliss Home is fortunate to have such talented professional designers!

Just had a terrific experience from start to finish! We stopped by to browse a few weeks ago and ended up buying 5 items off the floor. Brett took great care of us and had a friendly, no pressure vibe. The delivery guys were also top notch. Both were polite and happy! One of the guys whistled as he went back and forth to the truck. One of the pieces is quite heavy and they effortlessly lifted it up our entryway stairs and could not have been more careful. Again, the entire process was no stress and we love our new furniture. We’ll be back...

I had a major project to furnish several rooms and two great designers Allison and Brett helped me to do that..they did an outstanding job!! I liked what they did so much that I bought all of my furniture there! I would highly recommend it!!

Bliss Home is my GO TO store for gifts!! I LOVE their unique accessories. The designers and I always have the best time picking out the best gift for who Im shopping for. Its obvious that the staff love working with clients and helping them find exactly what they are looking for. Im almost giddy thinking of Fall and Christmas coming up!!! They have the BEST ornaments and Christmas decor and wonderful prices!!! I love this store!!!

I LOVE THIS STORE! Some of the most beautiful and unique home furnishings in Knoxville. If you need help with pulling it all together they can help. The staff is wonderful!

Super disappointed with our experience today. We walked through the entire store without a single employee acknowledging us. We saw stuff we really liked, but left because no one even took the time to say hello. We ended up at Basset Furniture and found 2 couches, a swivel rocking chair, and a kitchen table with a much friendlier staff.

I wasnt impressed. Everything was crazy expensive and a good portion of it wasnt very high quality. Also, the sales associate would come up to you wearing a mask and then take off their face mask (despite it now being the law to be wearing one in indoor locations like this) and put you at risk when they come up to you. The same associate was super close to another associate, both with masks off and in the larger public area. I plan to never go back.

We could not be happier with our sectional purchase from Bliss. The service we received in-store was incredibly helpful as we selected from multiple swatches of beautiful upholstery, took measurements, and received advice about accent pieces. Our purchase arrived earlier than expected, which was a huge blessing here at the holidays. The delivery drivers were among the friendliest and efficient Ive encountered. And the sectional is impeccably made and just gorgeous! All-around a perfect experience.

Diana made shopping at Bliss Home a very pleasurable experience. I was able to look at my leisure and Diana was available to answer questions when needed. I felt she listened to my furniture needs and was able to help me decide what suited my living situation. I was also very pleased with the delivery and set up of the furniture. Bliss Home is such a fun place to shop! The store is always beautiful. We have bought some of our favorite things there. The staff is very helpful and courteous and always follows up. I highly recommend making Bliss Home your first stop when looking for beautiful things for your home!

I recently bought a dining room table from Bliss Home and love it! I was especially impressed with the delivery person, John. He not only delivered and set up my table without a scratch but helped my elderly mother get a large package out of her car while he was there. Excellent customer service! Now My entire dining room is from Bliss. The furniture is beautiful and of excellent quality.

We live in another state but go by Bliss on Kingston Pike every time we’re in town. Kristin and her staff are so helpful and make our shopping a breeze. We plan to visit this weekend and finalize purchases. My wife told me this decorating would be painless and it’s really been fun. Thanks Kristin.

The salespeople are amazing. They listen to understand your tastes and make excellent suggestions. Theyre never pushy and make the whole experience a comfortable and positive one. Brent is particularly talented. We really like supporting this local business.

This is a very stylish and interesting business. Their choices of material as well as Quality Furniture is heads above everyone else in Knoxville. They also have locations in Nashville and Louisville I believe. The two stores in Knoxville are remarkably different...the one west of downtown is near the mall and is mostly a furniture and Home Decor store. The other store on Gay Street is home goods, clothing, and shoes with such unique merchandise that you have to go there. Bliss has bailed me out of a few Mothers days when I needed a thoughtful gift. This is a high quality business run by savvy and tasteful owners.

I love my table and benches from BLISS. They are exactly what I was looking for, and look fantastic in my new home! Jama was an expert representative - approachable, knowledgeable, and warm. Delivery and set up was on time and efficient. I had such a great experience and will be back again!

I browse at the Kingston Pike store a couple of times a month since they have such unique items and there are always new items there. I have bought several items there and I have been very pleased them. I bought some art that was gone when I returned to the store but Jama spent a lot of time searching for it in their records and I was able to order it. Highly recommend the store and the great staff they have to help.

My husband and I just purchased a larger home and had some empty rooms to fill. After looking at most furniture stores in Knoxville and didn’t find exactly what we were looking for, we ended up at Bliss. We purchased several items at Bliss and couldn’t be happier! However, the best part of our “Bliss experience” was the delivery team, Frank and Jon. I have NEVER met two happier people! They have very hard, sweaty jobs, but they both were all smiles, extremely professional and an absolute pleasure to have in my home! I am actually looking forward to our custom order (which Bliss is AMAZING at making happen) in a few weeks just so I can make cookies or something for the dynamic delivery duo!! There is no doubt in my mind where I will be buying my next room of furniture from - Bliss!!

We have been shopping there for 10 years and the quality is amazing. Bret is awesome and makes the shopping experience so enjoyable as well personal. We have a sofa that is 10 years old and looks new.

Beautiful decor but be careful! Purchased 2 dining tables, 2 beds, an upholstered banquet & 2 chairs, 9 dining chairs, a dresser, and a sectional for our new home. I was talked out of Pottery Barn sectional and sold on their sectional that is customizable and comes in Crypton fabric. The sales staff demonstrated how everything would come out. Wine, Coke, urine...you name it! Told me they use this in nursing homes. 12 weeks later I received the sofa. I’ve never spilled anything on it; however, the fabric clings to everything! Dirt, oils from skin, and even jeans make marks that do not come out! I contacted Bliss within 4 weeks of having the $6k sectional, was told to read the website for crypton fabric care and to have professionally cleaned. One year later I contacted the store, sales associate, and design sales person. I submitted a claim (which I’ve never done) only to be told unfortunately this is “normal wear and tear and not a defect.” After spending tens of thousands in a store! No offer to replace the fabric, sectional, or refund as I was told in store. Please read carefully! I would go with Pottery Barn slip cover instead. Everything else we purchased has been nice, but so disappointed in the sectional and failure to stand by their word and product.

This place has great stuff, we have lots of it in our house. Staff is awesome as well.

I adore this store and its team. Jeffrey has helped us get bedroom furniture, artwork, a nursery glider and living room tables. Everyone is always helpful and friendly. When we had a warranty claim, they made sure it was resolved expeditiously. Bliss Home in West Knoxville is always our first stop when were looking for something new for our home!

Diana Fox is super helpful and knowledgeable. She truly cares about her customers and their needs more than she does about making a sale. She intuitively uncovers your personal style and supports it with design suggestions that integrate into your living space. She’s like an interior decorating psychic, wellness coach and feng shui consultant all rolled into one. Working with Diana and her team at Bliss is a distinctly blissful experience.

Beautiful home furnishings with a staff that is eager to make you happy without being pushy. Can be on the pricy side but the quality is exceptional. They also offer home delivery in many areas at a low cost which is a godsend for getting a large couch back to your home.

This store is very selective with whom they acknowledge. The customer service on my end was terrible not only was it dead in there it was 3 sales clerks, and not one of them approached me . I guess you have to look like you have money and maybe it was the fact that I had on gym clothes. I can in for a full length mirror and I was referred to their store by one of my employees. Hated the service !!

I went to Bliss to look for kitchen furniture including bar stools. Donna took the time to show me around and look at catalogs. I didnt order anything that day, but some bar stools on the floor caught my eye. I came back a week later. Donna was busy, but Jenny jumped right in to help me and finalize my purchase. I had just made a purchase at another store where I had very poor service, so the kindness and enthusiasm was welcome!My only complaint was that I had to drive to the warehouse facility in North Knox to pick them up rather than the furniture being delivered to the store and picking it up there.

Came in with intent to buy, looked around found a couple items, not 1 person said Hello, or Be right with you, nothing! And yes, I was noticed by several employees.Took my money elsewhere, wont be back.

Two weeks ago my sectional was delivered, one pieceis damaged..I have not received any information as to when I can expect a replacement..The e-mails from Bliss contain no solution just Thank for your patience..Trust me at this time I have no patience..When you spent $8,000.00 plus you expect the furniture to be right..You also expect the business to do what is necessary to replace damaged pieces IN A TIMELY MANNER..First and last shopping trip here..

Good quality furniture but overpriced. Which is kind of understandable.

My husband and I came into Bliss Home in West Knoxville a couple months back and they were very friendly and offered to help in anyway. We were getting ideas for our living room and cannot wait to make our purchase soon.
