I came in close to closing time and found everything I needed before they actually closed. The staff was so friendly and helped me find what I was looking for. I came in needing materials to sew as I am completely new to it and had no idea what I was doing or what I needed. The staff was so patient and kind and was extremely helpful.

Frequent at the Joliet location for my business, they need to have more cashiers available, checkout times are ridiculous 10-15 people in line and ONE cashier! One lady always has an attitude but the worst was when I wanted to exchange the sewing machine i bought online to find out they charge a $25 re-stocking fee! Manager is horrible not pleasant at all.Will not be coming to this location anymore.

I used to shop at Joann store a lot but now twice I ordered online. Both orders never received. This company is less then zero. I shop online a lot but never ever see anything like Joann store just don’t receive orders or receive half order. No message from them or phone call. Once you place your order, they have your $$$ and they don’t care anymore. And on their website no phone # so you can’t call them, just email and have to wait for respond 24-48 hours.

Big selection of fabrics for my quilting habit!

Great selection of fabrics, craft items and notions (gadgets). Most prices are pretty fair and I usually find what I went there for. I can check online if they have in stock, great website! While shopping online can be convenient, putting my hands on the items and keeping people working is really important to me. Experienced sewers work there along with other customers, all who have useful knowledge and alternative creative ideas.

Every curbside experience has been unpleasant compared to other stores. Bags are thrown in, do not verify customer information, and walk away without saying thank you 😐.

Needed supplies for my sons textile class and went into the store clueless about some of the required items. An employee helped us find everything on the list, explaining what each item was for. She dedicated 20+ minutes to us, with no hesitation. We left the store with everything needed and more knowledge!!!

If you are shopping for fleece then this is your store. It has been changed around and has tons of fleece and flannel. I quilt. The cotton fabrics have been dramatically reduced. Dont use the bathroom it stinks and is filthy. If you are looking for the clearance area it has been relocated to the classroom, no signs saying that. Just terrible. I will no longer shop there.

Good choice of yarns...needed 4 skeins they only hsd 3 of same dye lot of color I wanted...but enough if my second choice...very pleasant and helpful staff

There are always excellent deals going on, and signing up for their email or text alerts is worth the additional savings. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they carry a fairly wide variety of items.While they do carry some other items, they focus on what customers will need for their *cloth* projects, so dont expect to find lots of other crafting materials like ceramics, balsam wood, paint canvasses, or plastic model kits.

The store is not physically open. You have to order online for curbside pick up only. THIS is understandable considering the pandemic going on right now. HOWEVER, order your items a least a day in advance because orders are filled slowly. I only ordered two items costing less then $10 expecting to get them within two to three hours, or at least the same day. Its now 4pm the store will be closing soon. I wont be able to finish my project on time :( should have just ordered from Walmart for same day pick up.

This store is usually out of most home decor/seasonal items.. they dont keep enough stock in pretty much any department. But the next closest store is about 40 minutes farther on a good day. The staff seems very set in their ways.

They have a good selection of fabrics and crafts. They are adherring to cocid 19 guidelines.

If you need it they have it! The staff in this store go above and beyond to serve thier customers. This is a hard time of year to shop and they just step and help you. I Love this store and will make the 60 mile trip one way shop there for all my crafting and sewing needs.

This is my go to place for fabrics, notions, yarns, ect. I always check out the baking n utensils and silicone items for my Instant Pots, they have good selection. Always some kind of coupon to be used!

The staff may be somewhat friendly...but they definitely lack efficiency. I went to get a small quantity of fabric and the employee cutting fabric was unbelievably slow. There were two people in front of me both of which only had one and two items respectively and it took 30 minutes for me to finally get my fabric cut and reach the checkout. What could have been a 15 minute trip quickly turned into 45 minutes. If you are the only person in the store, perfect, 5 stars. Once any other person gets in line in front of you, you will be waiting a while and the review quickly declines.

Went in for half a yard of fabric with my daughter to make her a kite. Staff was friendly, and pointed me to their remnant section. We ended up buying a total of two yards for different little activities, and the lady at the fabric counter had no problem making all of the cuts. Great, polite service like this is hard to find!

Although it is a small place i find that it is well organized and the staff are friendly. I have gone several times to look for very specific items and they have always had what I needed. Also the coupons help a great deal when buying so make sure to visit the website or download the app.

I checked online to make sure they had the pillows in stock that I needed only to find... in store the pillow I wanted was out of stock and nothing was organized. No one was available to help. I settled on a different size pillow. On the way out I found a toy for my son on the clearance rack. The price of the item wasnt marked (and price scanner was broken). I assumed the item would be on clearance since there was a stack of them on the rack. In line we were 10-11 customers deep the whole time (not 11 people deep but 11 transactions deep), I asked 4 employees to open another register while my mom waited in line. No one would open a register. Manger was not available. My sons toy was full priced). Finally we checked out, and as we walked out of the store we realized the coupons were not applied correctly. I filled out Jo-Anns review online and thats when I noticed even the date and time on the receipt were wrong, so I have no hope being able to return items if I needed to.

I had a great experience at this Joann location today! Cathy was so helpful and making sure my transaction ran so smoothly! The cashier before almost ruined the experience, but Cathy swooped in and saved the day! I was honestly apprehensive of switching to this store from the Naperville store since we just moved to Plainfield from Naperville, but I am so highly pleased with the service today! So excited about my fabrics!

Placed a special order told it would be about a week. Called and at first was told yes no way its in all the trucks are messed up what even does that mean? Then told they couldnt actually say when it would be in because they dont have a tracking system for incoming trucks.

Ive always had a pleasant experience. The store is bright and clean, helpful employees, and reasonable prices.

5 stars on this visit. My order was ready and waiting at the cash register. A couple of the cutting table employees could have been nicer and speak when customers walk up but I was just happy My order was ready, so I greeted them instead.

Excellent store. Smaller than most Joanns, but laid out well. A little slow at checkout due to line and only one cashier, but worth the wait. Cashier was very pleasant.

Ia store policy worth making a customer sad. I was in desperate need of help. I am a Magician not a Crafter. I came here for a 20 x 20 piece of material for an illusion. Everything was going great. I asked if they could make one more cut to make it even because I dont have the correct tools to do it. Brittany said it was against store policy. Well... You made a customer sad. Now my project will be crooked. I would have paid extra.

Okay, its as fabric store which sales sewing material. My wife wanted the kitchen chairs redone so, here we go. The store was pretty organized. Didnt have to dig under stuff to see things. Because that can be irritating. I didnt know material cost so much per yard!!! Wow! But we found something in the clearance aisle that worked out perfectly! First time doing something like this and it turned out great!

The cashier was very nice and professional. Another employee I asked for help? Not so helpful. Acted very put out when I asked for an item I couldnt find, and she had to show me where it was. Maybe she was just having a bad day or not feeling well or something. Will visit the store again.

The employees at this store are rude and act like youre a burden for existing. I had an older employee roll her eyes at me once for coming in to return something. I did a curbside pickup last month and the girl who brought out my item looked like she was dead inside. Cheer up guys, if you hate your jobs so much then quit!

We went there to buy some knickknacks and some letters for a project we were working on. We found almost everything we needed but unfortunately the letters we need it for our project, they just did not have in stock. My experience overall was good even though they didnt have what I was looking for, the store was clean, the people were friendly, and I will go back there again.

I love Joann Fabric, mostly for their jewelry findings. Be sure tp use the coupons sent through the mail or available through the website or Retail me not app.

Ive always got the fabrics Ive needed from JoAnns. The slaes they have on polyester fit well with my budget to make some fine warrior cosplay. Sign up for the emails and take advantage of the coupons if costumes are your thing.

The selection isnt great for apparel fabrics, and oftentimes the sales associates dont know what kind of fabrics they have in stock and wont be able to tell you care instructions or contents; youll have to figure that out for yourself probably with the help of the internet. But if youre a quilter or need other crafts, this is a perfectly good Joann.

This location is always kept neat and the staff there are amazing, friendly, and always with a smile. I have purchased many items there and utilized the buy on line pick up in store option. I highly recommend using that for when youre in need of itens and youre in a time crunch. The reason for my 3 star rating is due to product availability. They dont seem to carry alot of items compared to other JoAnn locations. When wanting to purchase specific items, the Orland Park and Naperville location always show the items I need in stock but this location seems to never have them.
