I told on my papers that I have a oil Leak no one came out to me to explain where this leak was.

Misdiagnosed the issue with my car. Said needed a radiator, it actually needed a thermostat.

Come to find out they put a bad battery that I made them replace bc I have warranty. I will never ever let them perform anything else for me. Please don’t take your car here

These people are theifts,dripped my car for an alignment,they called me and told me car was done.Went to pick it up,car wont start.Called them and they told me,we dont know what happened,supposedly they will check it out and let me know.Called me the next day and they told me that my alternator was dead and it needs a $340 parts and labor.I was not buying it and went to inspect it my self,this time I had a jump box with me.Car started right away and problem gone.They basically drained my battery and tried to rip me off.Please avoid this place at all costs.

Was given a quote by phone and when I got there they wanted to charge more for the same service I asked for by phone previously.

Worst place to take your car they didnt do my car after 1 1/2 hours waiting no body use a FACE MASK and they dont care if customers use it or not !!! dont take your car there they dont want your business take it somewhere else where they appreciate you !! Remember you are paying for a service they dont do It for free!!!!

Brought my car for an allingment, when I walked in for pick up she said they couldnt do the rear,I said what was wrong with it... she went to ask the mechanic and he said nothing he thought you said you wanted it. Lets fast forward 3 wks .... snow falls I drive my car and my car spins out of controll.. took it to another shop and the inside of my tire was down to the wires! Because of a bad rear end allingment!, was off the charts the guy said. Thanks! I have no problem paying should have told me I have a dangerous problem with my vehicle!

Ive been a returning customer for over 4 years to the store located on 1600 W. Jefferson St. but decided to give this one on Cass a try. Prices are low so they will attract any customer but unless you do not value your money, Id suggest going elsewhere. I had a right hub bearing replaced a year ago and noticed the same rubbing noise a few months ago. I was past my year warranty so they would not replace it. I was in no rush to bring it back at first because I thought there was no way it was the same one causing noise and that it was the other that was due for replacement. A full inspection at Sears Auto informed me that it was the right hub. Now there is NO WAY that a hub bearing that is brand new should go bad within 4000 miles of use when the original lasted over 119,000 miles! They said both needed to be replaced but insisted Id pay....Now let me ask you this employees of Velasquez....If youve paid $375 for work to be done that would only last a year, would you expect to keep paying $375 to replace the same part every year? Thats ABSURD!!! No proffesionalism whatsoever! You do not stand by your work!(which is subpar garbage). Be wise and I advise to pay a little more for a certified mechanic to protect your vehicle and more importantly your safety.

Since I started coming to this shop for my car needs, I have never sought services else where. They are professional, affordable, friendly and deliver great services.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!We took our car to get an alignment at Velasquez Muffler Shop on Cass Street. Not only did we wait hours for the alignment, but they insisted we pay cash. Since it was only $50, we obliged. I should have known - they insist on cash because they dont offer refunds under any circumstances. So after they were finished with our car, we drove off. The alignment was still off. So we called and they did not have time to redo the alignment that day. They said we could come back another day. So we made an appt to come back a second time, drove all the way across town to get there and again waited hours for our alignment. After we took off the second time, we found that the alignment was still way off. I couldnt believe it. We called back and they told us to bring it back. We told them we had already wasted enough time and gas driving out there and waiting hours, only for the problem not to be fixed. We just wanted a refund. They told us they do not give refunds. So we went back in person, with the intention of getting a refund. We figured if we talked to to a manger and showed him how the alignment was still off, then he would have to refund us. When we got there the manager told us that he could not obtain a refund without permission from the owner. He called the owner who refused to provide us with a refund. They simply offered to attempt to correct the alignment again. The manager said he would oversee the alignment himself. After waiting hours for a 3rd time, we finally got our car back. The manager told us that the reason the car was still not aligning properly was because we had some other parts that needed to be replaced. Without replacing those, the alignment would always be off. I asked why we were not told that from the beginning, so we could have had those parts replaced prior to having the alignment performed. He had no answer. We again insisted on a refund, as we were not planning on coming back to this place, even after we had the damaged parts replaced. They would not budge. We ended up taking car to sears who informed us promptly BEFORE doing the alignment, that we needed to replace several parts or the alignment would be a waste of time. They replaced the parts and then did the alignment for $80. Car ran perfect after that. Also, one of the times I was waiting in their lobby, I heard another customer complaining about how they did not fix his car like they promised. WARNING TO EVERYONE - youll waste more money than youll save going to Velasquez Mufflers! They are crooks with poor customer service who do not stand behind their work!

They need a new receptionist .This girl looked young and maybe thats why she was so rude . Treat others the way you want to be treated . Dont work in customer service if you dont like people . People like her is what makes the world so disgusting and sad . Ive been a repeat customer to Broadways Velasquez with no complains . My work hours are the same as their including the weekends and I was lucky enough my boss let me leave alittle early for this . This was the closest one which is THE ONLY REASON I came to this one . Which is also the last I come to this one . They all act like they dont want to work & have a problem with THEIR JOBS ! Hypocritical people and no morals they make the rest of this race look bad . Get people whom actually want to work and are pleasant .
