I came in via referral from a local Guitar Center for a custom telecaster I had built for a unproperly seated neck and a fix for a four-way switch for my gen4 noiseless pickups. I essentially wanted a setup and a repair job for the wiring and the local guitar center couldnt figure out the wiring issue, or do any structural repairs- so they couldnt properly set the guitar up either. The staff here is very welcoming, nice, and quickly set up my request to fix said issues.Note: Not trying to talk down on that guitar center though, their technician was very helpful for his time, and diagnosed everything. I wouldnt of known to come here if it werent for that visit. :) He only charged me for the strings despite all the effort and pointed me in the right direction.I usually wake late because I work the night shift, but I texted Mikey a reply to his question late in the night (around 9pm) about my guitar and I was surprised to know that he was working on it outside of shop hours. He didnt quite get the problem immediately though... the wiring was different as the gen4 noiseless pickups have three wires, but overall looked fine and he tried many things as well as compare my switch to another four-way switch he had on hand. He kept me updated via text and that transparency goes a long way in my opinion. In the end he found the problem was with the switch itself and required filing. When I came back to pick up the guitar, everything sounded great and worked as expected. He even tightened down the loose string trees I hastily/poorly installed and the guitar looked better than when I first brought it in.When it came time to checkout, the cost for everything was much cheaper than I had anticipated as well. I didnt get to thank him when I came in to pick up the guitar unfortunately, but in the future I really hope you all get your gratuity functioning in your payment systems because Ill definitely be coming back.

The absolute best music shop in Northeast Florida. Jack has helped build my custom pedalboard from the ground up, and Mikey is always a flawless guitar tech, whether it comes to guitar setups and even intensive custom modifications. The staff at Mockshop can handle anything and everything you throw their way, not to mention they have the most extensive boutique pedal collection Ive ever seen. Dont hesitate to stop by and see what they have to offer. These guys are the best of the best at what they do.

They are all knowledgeable people in here and can quickly and efficiently answer all your questions. They have re strung my husbands electric guitar twice now and we are always happy with their workmanship. Just picked up some pics and hubby says they are awesome.

I love this place. Bringing people here always amazes them, even if theyre not musicians. The guitars and gear that come through are rare and amazing to behold. Mikey is the guitar tech there. Hes set up my guitars since Ive met him and you couldnt ask for a nicer and more reliable tech. The rest of the staff are usually really cool. They did a really great job with this place.

I only popped in for a moment, but the gentleman were very helpful and quick to greet me. They seem like a great place to purchase equipment involving drums, guitar and speaker/ sound equipment. That seemed to be their specialty as they did not sell keyboards, or any other musical instruments. They were very kind to offer some suggestions that could possibly provide those services.

Great shop and great people. There is a nice selection of guitars, amps, and effects that you usually dont see in the big chain stores. Keegan the sales rep is very knowledgeable and helpful. Mikey the guitar tech is awesome and always does a great job at repairs and setups. Havent met the owner yet but he sounds like a great guy as well. Ill will be coming here more often for sure.

Awesome Guitar Shop! Don’t settle for the bozos at the big box stores. Shop here where they can answer your questions and even show you some new brands from some smaller companies that don’t get enough lime light. Would definitely shop here again!

Love Mock shop, best peddle selection in town. Definitely in the higher end but with music gear you get what you pay for.

You can try anything in the shop for as long as you want, and Jack and Mikey are extremely knowledgeable. A very friendly place which adds to the Murray Hill vibe.

These guys run a tight shop! Their amp and pedal selection is second to none, their guitars are well kept, and most importantly, the shop is CLEAN! Jack and Mikey are very friendly, and seen very willing to help find exactly what you need.

If youre looking for a high end amp, a unique pedal, or an electric guitar that stands out in the crowd...Mockshop may have what youre looking for. They are a niche store thats geared towards tone tweakers. You wont find any vintage or acoustic guitars there. Its worth stopping in to see what they have.
