The best aspect of this store, the workers. Very pleasant, accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. And when we head out over the Inouye new Saddle Rd., we always stop by to get their healthy and refreshing Somen salad! One by one, Ill be trying all of their plate lunches! I was sad to hear that the former business closed down as I loved their sandwiches. Well, I can confirm that those same delicious sandwiches are back!I almost always get their pastrami on sourdough. Its just as I remember it and its awesome! I would post a picture but unfortunately I ate it before the thought occured.As of May 2021 sandwiches are 6.00 cold and 6.50 hot.

I live down the street. They have grocery needs that are obvious and a kitchen if you dont wanna cook it! Love the place and staff.They treat us like ohana and that matters so much as a business.Entitlement of customers is always aggravating to watch. I may have tried to tell an older gentleman to have more Aloha himself, instead of telling others. for yelling and for being mean to the cashier. I dont feel sorry he made her cry dont let your customers do this to your coworkers, friends. Its uncalled for and people disrupt the business for other customers aswell.

Love the plate lunch from here.. They always have a variety of diffrent plates you cab get... Affordable price and if you call ahead to order you can just arrive and pick up your order after 15 minutes. I usually love the fried chicken drumettes

Ordered 4 plates for employees today and it was bad. The mac salad was watery and the boneless Korean chicken was very bland. I have ordered boneless Korean chicken from many different places and its normally fried with Korean sauce and this was grilled with some sauce poured over it. Since it was our first time ordering from here I figured you cant go wrong with Korean chicken but apparently you can. Many better places to eat in Hilo.

Convenient location. Happy to see this place open again for the Waiakea community. Workers are pleasant, efficient, and the food is great. Helpful hint...call in your order ahead of time since the menu is posted daily on their website and FB. The phone orders were prepared pretty quickly.
