We had an AMAZING time buying our new vehicle here. On our way home from a vacation we had to stop at a dealer in AL to have our service light checked out. While waiting my wife fell in love with the Tuscon, but we decided to wait until we got home. We also decided to look at other options in the crossover SUV line. After visiting Toyota we visited Grubbs to ensure they had the Tuscon my wife looked at online. We were greater by Vito. We informed him what we were doing (looking at multiple vehicles, but were interested in the Tuscon) he was extremely helpful, and (unlike another dealership I wont name) had nothing negative to say about any of the competing makes. After visiting all the dealers and looking at all the vehicles on our list we decided on the Tuscon. We went back to Grubbs, but Vito was helping another customer so he had Marshall help us. We took the Tucson for one more drive and then started the purchase process. It was the easiest process of buying a new vehicle Ive ever had. If I could rate the staff more than 5 stars I would.In addition, weve taken our car here to be serviced in the past and they are very friendly. I have never had a bad experience with the maintenance of my car at Mack Grubbs. I appreciate Tommy and his team especially their professionalism and attention to detail. They are honest and do not try to pull the wool over my eyes just because I am a female and know nothing about cars or how they work. I took my car in for an oil change and asked them to check my brakes as my car has about 72,000 miles. I would have been fine to replace them but Tommy stated I still have about 20,000 miles before a change is needed. I, for one, admire their integrity.

Hyundai is a real up and coming brand with a great warranty, great fuel economy and vehicles with as much technology and safety features as cars twice the price. I will never in my life do business ever again with hyundai. this dealership is nothing but a bunch of scam artist. I had a problem with my car and took it to the dealership to get fix and they tried to say my car was completely messed up. I got a second look by another dealer they told me it was a simple fix. they tried to get 10 grand out of me off a 300 dollar fix. I will never in my life go their again

I would not recommend this dealership the service department was terrible especially Bailey. She was rude never returned phone calls she didnt care whatsoever how I felt.I didnt even know that my car that they had almost 3 weeks was ready until I called. And when I did get my car Tommy who was friendly over the phone was unconcerned in person when we told him a piece was missing from my car he looked said check with the tow an walked off like it was nothing.Bailey walked around with a smirk finally came out opened my door and rudely said let me put this in here the small part that was missing an walked off .I hadnt realized until I had gotten home my front 2 mats were also missing .I contacted the manager he called we spoke but Im sure nothing was done and they lied about the whole deal .I was offered a free oil change by the manager but I would never ever trust Mack Grubbs Hyundai of Hattiesburg with my car again.

After purchasing four cars from this dealer - I got a lemon that needed transmission rework at 2700 miles. I’m disappointed but that is not my major issue with the dealership. The issue is the service department. They somehow feel it is appropriate to speak over you while you are holding the Bluelink app and showing them what is wrong. It is apparently ok to question your honesty by saying “that isn’t it” while talking over you.Rude!We have had to call everyday to get an update and changed our weekend plans because the car was supposed to be ready. You guessed it- no phone call and now we are home this weekend wondering when / if warranty work will be done.Obviously I do not recommend this organization because there is no service in the service department!

I was VERY UNHAPPY with my experience at Hyundai of Hattiesburg. I called for a quote to change break pads (front and rear) and was quoted $200. Thinking this price was quite low, I reasked the question and was given the same price. At the end of the conversation I asked how much I was looking at total (for change of front and rear break pads, oil change, and to fix door handle) and was told no more than $450. When I got my bill, it was almost $600!!! The break pads were actually $200 a piece but that huge detail was not made clear in the prior conversation. They did end up dropping the price by $50, but Ill never take my car back to the dealership or have another Hyundai. It would be different had this been the first time Hyundai miss quoted me, but its not. I was previously charged $216 for an $8 part when quoted ~ $18. It would also be different if the mechanics- who actually do the work- saw more of the money, but I know thats not how dealerships work.

Today, Saturday, I had a break down. My horn was doing a crazy beeping noise different than the alarm which ran my battery down and I couldnt ever put my windows back up. Well I called Hyundais Road side assistance. I was told that they would gladly tow the car to the closest dealer. Also told me that it would be a good idea to call the dealership and let them know that my car was coming there. This was at 1:45-2:00 in the afternoon and I was told the wrecker would get to my location at about 2:45. So I called and was told by the dealership that they start closing the gates at 2:45 and closed at 3 so no one would be there to accept my car. I explained that I was a loyal Hyundai customer from out of town and who my regular service dealership was and asked if they didnt make exceptions for people like me. He said the car could be left outside the gate or the tow service would take it to the yard till Monday. (Remember those open windows?). I then mentioned that again and also wondered if they had a loaner that I could use till they could repair my car. NOT THAT EITHER. I said So basically youre saying Im out of luck and yall dont tack care of loyal customers. I was then reminded that I wasnt their service customer. I was about to pay $300.+ just to take my car back to my home dealership so my people(who would wait for me) could take care of the VERY DISAPPOINTED customer even though their service dept was also closed. Thankfully my husband and a friend somehow got the car started and no crazy horn noises. I called Jason Pilgers in Gautier and let them know the car did start and I would see what it was going to do over the next few days. They advised that I go ahead and drop the car off with them because it could happen again and there is no one there at all on Sunday. They gave me a car to drive for a few days while they get my car in to service on Monday. SHAME ON YOU MACK GRUBS!!! CUDOS TO JASON PILGER HYUNDAI IN GAUTIER, MS!!!
