I am an Interior Designer that lives in Greenwich and NYC and a long time customer of Consign It. Elizabeth Jackson and her managers, Jenny and Howard, run an excellent business with wonderful taste. Working with them has always been my pleasure. I have sold many items there myself that are in like new or new condition since I love change. Their pricing is very fair and their payments are timely.Consign It has just relocated to 311 Hamilton Avenue in Greenwich to new and well designed space. I have just come from their opening day and the quality of the furniture there is excellent. Judging by the response from others there I know they will do very well.

I spoke with Consign It about its interest in having several antique lampson consignment. The manager asked that I email photos of the lamps for its review saying that she would email a response. When I received no response after two days, I telephoned and was told again that I would receive an email response. After waiting another three days, I called and was told curtly that an email response would be forthcoming. This was over four weeks ago.

I brought a very nice LONGINES watch. I gave them the original box with instruction manual and the original receipt. The watch had only been worn twice and was still in excellent condition. 6 weeks after I dropped it off they asked me to come back to pick it up. They gave me the watch in a ziplock bag with many scratches on the back of the case. They said they threw out the box w/ instruction manual and the receipt. I was disgusted in their service. The box was very nice and it had a special drawer for the instruction manual.I was very upset and asked the blonde woman who gave me back the watch why they threw out the box. She said it doesn’t matter, and no one wanted to buy it. It did matter very much to me and still does.Never bring your belongings here to sell. Elizabeth does a great job with estate sales, but her store is run like a disposal site. Not to mention the employees are very rude.

This review is based on my experience as both as a buyer as well as a consignor. If I could give zero stars I would!!! I recently visited this store and the minute i walked in bad vibes from these “ greenwitches” but decided to stay. They take your items, damaged them, make you absolutely no money!!!!!!! Also make sure you stay away from this woman Yenny (or Jenny). Trust me if you go here you will be so sorry

Elizabeth came to my home to evaluate evertyhing for the estate sale and told me she would be able to do it even though I had a very tight schedule to move out of my house. I ask her several times if this could work out even though she was busy. I had to go out of town for ten days and I gave her the name and # of my friend so she could come and photograph the items and pre pair for the sale.After I returned I tried calling her, emailing etc to no avail!She never contacted me and I was left with 3 weeks to arrange an estate sale with someone else.I have never met anyone so unprofessional and rude!!!Never use her for anything!
