Great service department, had the 12v plug on my 16 street glide special come apart on the interstate on our way to Sturgis. Pulled in and the guys got right to work on it and got us back on the road in under an hour. Great work really appreciate it.

There was certain items I was looking for so he would text me pics of the in stock items they had on hand to see if it was what I was looking for or not and was able to answer all my questions, very helpful and would be glad to deal with Joe every time I visit the store. I bought my first Harley Davidson about a month ago, and I visited this dealership just last weekend. Now, I understand an 03, 883 sportster still has me at the kids table at the Harley family Thanksgiving dinner, but I was made to feel very welcome here. I told the guy at the parts desk I needed to change oil and he went and grabbed oil and a filter, then he asked me if I needed a washer for the oil plug. I told him I was pretty sure there was no plug just a hose that I remove. He stopped and said, I have never changed oil in a sportster, and he went to the back. When he came back he put one quart of oil back on the shelf, changed the filter, and asked for my number to see if I was in the system. I told him I was not, as this was my first Harley and my first visit. He sat back, look straight at me, kind of opened his arms, and said, Welcome to your Harley shop. He then asked if I was a Vet, and then signed me up for a points reward program that they have. He said to me that folks shouldnt find coming in here intimidating, but some do. I am not new to motorcycles. I have ridden a bunch of Kawis over the years and currently have two Indian motorcycles in my garage along with the sportster. I have been in dealerships. I just had never been in a Harley shop and hadnt had a reason to be. He really made me feel comfortable, and when I walked in I was greeted by a couple of gals at the front desk, but I was not set upon by a salesman, or anyone, and was allowed to just browse. I wasnt pressured. I picked up a dealership tee shirt while there,(my first HD gear) and left feeling really good and welcome to return. I will. Thanks for the great experience.

I couldnt give it zero stars. Worst possible customer service. Went in looking for some windshield parts for another cycle. Parts person sold me some memphis shades parts. Never told me it was on clearance (NO SIGNS OR STICKERS ) just pawned them off on me. Last question I asked was if I could return them if they didnt work. He stated as long as its not open. Took them back to return and was told they couldnt be returned. Why waste $50 on something that wouldnt work?! Parts person lied to my face when I went back and went to the back room with parts manager to lie to him. Theres a reason people buy online now. Trying to support my local shops before doing so but I WONT BUY ANYTHING EVER AGAIN FROM THIS LOCATION. Hope my $50 was spent well because my next Bike will be bought down the road.

From the moment I decided to buy a motorcycle I knew I wanted to try to keep my business local. I searched Platte River H-D website and found what I was looking for. From the moment I went into the dealership I was greeted by Tom Barnett within the first moment of entering the store. Tom was knowledgeable about the bikes and walked me through the inventory and in the process helped me find the right bike for my needs. In the finance office, Dan Gallaway was helpful, courteous and fast. Highly recommend!!

Very friendly people very knowledgeable I made a delivery there the guy that assumed the responsibility of examining the three motorcycles that I delivered was very very thorough extremely friendly hed make a wonderful supervisor he could be the owner I dont know even offered to let me park there overnight I was pretty tired I admit but I didnt stay because they I had full signal but my mobile data was almost non-existent so I didnt want to stay where I couldnt watch the movies beyond that awesome people very helpful.

Just called about getting bike in shop. Passing through with Extended Service Plan. 30 days. So much for Harleys Service Plan in Nebraska. Ill bet you would get someone in that lived there. Ive been in your store before & wondered how it stayed open.

Awesome experience. Justin and Dan were very honest and helpful. Will highly recommend. I am dropping my rating on this dealership down to a 1. After the purchase, issues started appearing. One, I informed them that the brackets for the windshield that was ordered was not going to work and that I needed to be credited back the cost since it was added in the finance charge. It never was removed. Kirby said he would just take it off from the cost of my new windshield, I said that would be fine, but you cant tax me on the 237.32 since i will already be paying the taxes on it when i tag the bike, and i still paid taxes on it, and to find out they were charging me labor fees when the deal was i was not going to be charged the labor fee, and i was told i was getting a 10 percent discount, which also never happened. I will not be going back to this place again. There is just a lot of mis-communication with this place. And it seems, once they make a sale with you, thats all they care about, thats how I feel with my experience any ways. I can go on with more, but Im not going to waste any more of my time.

Service department is fast. I had a problem with my bike on a Sunday and dropped it off in the parking lot with a note on it. Got a call at 9am Tuesday morning informing me what the problem was and they had it fixed by 11 that morning. Can’t ask for a better dealership!

True to his word, they got started on it right at 9:00 and I was on the road again before 11:30....with a clean bike. It was a mess when they got it. I really appreciate the work they did to get me back on the road so I could have a trouble free finish to my trip. Everyone I met at the dealership was nice.”

This is a response to my husbands review where you said we weren’t looking for a specific bike. We talked to a salesmen before we came up about a specific bike and it wasn’t ready to look at when we traveled over 2 hours to come. Then they had to charge the bike and see why the lights wouldn’t turn on etc. We also looked at another bike and liked it better then to have you insult us in our trade in price when other Harley dealerships have offered triple that amount to us and looking at similar priced bikes. Then you try to make yourself a sounds good and why it is what it is. Don’t sit here and tell people that we didn’t come with a bike to look at in mind. You’re making yourselves look worst then our experience already was. Also the two friends with us will never purchase a bike from you either because of our experience.

I chose 5 because I could not choose 10! Whether I am asking about parts, or service, Kirby knows the answer, and is not afraid to tell the truth. He is honest about all that he does, and if the part or accessory is not going to do what I am expecting, he will tell me. His customer service is outstanding, since I met Kirby I have been greeted by name with a smile when I walk in, received calls to remind me of the service that is scheduled, and when it is done. My bike is up to date on all repairs and ready to go when I am. I do not trust many service departments these days, but Platte Valley Harley Davidson...ABSOLUTELY!

I have been wanting some gloves that were not carried in stock. I let Beretta know what I was needing. She ordered (for the second time, at an earlier date it was a riding jacket) exactly what I was needing. Needless to say I went home with the much needed gloves. Very happy to do business with this store.

It was a pleasant experience all the way around. The lady at the front dest was really sweet and more than eager to help me. I was shone all around the shop and introduced to all of the staff. The family thought we were headed to Nebraska to recover a 2015 Ultra this past Saturday. Even though the shop was very busy, they took the time to replace the stator and get the guys from Missouri back on the road.

I was my way to Sturgis and got a flat tire. It was Saturday afternoon about 4pm. I was 60 miles past Grand IslandThis being the closest dealership I called and spoke with Randy in the service department, of course it was late in the day and service was closing and would not be open again until Monday morning. A wonderful Nebraska farmer was able to trailer my bike back to the dealership Saturday evening. I parked my bike by the service department door and locked it for the night. I returned Sunday morning at 10am knowing the dealer was only open for sales and parts pick up. When I entered the service area to my surprise, there was a service tech waiting for my key so he could replace my damaged tire. Randy felt so bad Saturday that he couldn’t help me that when he saw my bike setting out side the service door Sunday morning, that he had to help me get back on the road to Sturgis. Tire was changed quickly and I was on the road in no time. I can’t THANK Randy enough for going above and beyond to fix my bike tire.I recommend this service department to everyone! There service department ROCKS!They are all about customer service!Thanks again!

Platte River Harley Davidson, Grand Island, Nebraska, was a stop for the Patriot Flag Tour. The staff really rolled out the red carpet, providing an excellent lunch and hospitality for the riders. After lunch the group descended upon the Motor clothes and parts department, grabbing up the souvenirs and even a rear tire was changed! I dont know how they do it but the majority of their Harleys had Lifetime Powertrain Warranties... Sure wish my 2018 had that! All in all we had a great stop there before heading to the VFW to pass the Flag onto a new group of riders!

While traveling several thousand miles from home had a mechanical issue that left my Harley unrideable. Platte River Harley-Davidson was the closest dealer, but still more than 50 miles away. I called and spoke with Justin, the Service Manager. Even though it was late in the afternoon he readily agreed to send the their shop truck and trailer after me. It was after closing by the time I arrived, and Justin was there waiting to help me complete the repair order. To get me and my travel companions back on the road as quickly as possible Justin made room in his already full service schedule, with my bike setup for first thing in the morning. My bike was done and ready to go by 9:30 the next morning. While I was waiting the guys in the Parts Department we kind enough to provide with a box and arrange to ship home some items for me.I cant speak highly enough to describe my experience at Platte River Harley-Davidson and the professional, courteous manner in which I was treated.

Bought my first Harley here. Good sales. Good getting paperwork done. Parts department excellent even when asking dumb questions. Went back a month later to get the bike and free food.

Was nicely greeted when I first walked in the door. Employees were helpful showing me where things were at that I was looking for. When trying things on, if it didnt fit, she helped by get the size I needed. Walked out a happy shopper with my new tops.
