I needed a tire replaced on my FLH and I thought Gainesville Harley would be the best place to get it done. I havent bought a tire in years so I called ahead to get a price on a tire with installation. Although I do most of my own work, I dont own a tire machine. After waiting for a while on hold, I was finally connected to a service rep. He was courteous and helpful and gave me a number out the door that I could live with. This included removing and installing the tire onto the bike. I already had the wheel off of the bike due to other repairs that I was making. So I loaded up the wheel and took it in. When I got there I had to go through the entire song and dance once again for an out the door quote. I was then told that there was no difference in price for me taking the wheel off and putting it on or them having to remove and install it onto the bike. So, I accepted the quote basically because I was too lazy to take my wheel somewhere else. When I came back to pick up my wheel and tire, the price had mysteriously increased by $10 and there was no cap on the valve. Now I know that might be nit-picking but when combined with the labor that I had already donated, I think Ill have to charge them two stars.

Folks here are great in every department. Especially service. Yesterday (7/30/21) I went in for tire check before Sturgis trip. Joly took the time to get me into service very quickly. Started to leave and bike would not start. (Dead battery.) I had a house closing in 2 hours and they went out of the way to get me back on the road. Great shop. Kudos to all!

My 2019 flhcs was having electrical issue. I was on the road, a traveler as the service people like to say. Luckily, I managed to ride the bike to the dealership just before it shut down completely. about 3 hours later, they had it on the lift, (putting me in front of other customers) and they diagnosed the issue as a bad connector inside the handlebars that had shorted due to condensation. 2 and a half hours later i was out of there with a properly functioning ignition switch and the other right side handlebar controls. These people were polite, professional, friendly and efficient despite being busy. I only lost that one day in my roadtrip. Thank you bigtime Gainesville H-D.

I was very pleased with the work that was done to my 2002 Ultra Classic. I had to wait awhile for a part to come in, but thats the problem with an older bike. They performed everything that I asked them to do to it. The only thing that didnt get fixed was my front tire that is leaking air. I told the service guy that I had an air leak that needed fixing on my front tire. I was told that they could not find a leak in it. I had to replace my tires while I was out of town. So with that being said, I dont know if your service department just didnt want to tackle the problem b/c they didnt create it, or what. Im not going back to where I bought them in Georgia. All I know is that it looses about 10/lbs. over a 2 week period. As you all know this is not a good thing. I have some photos I will try to upload to this email. You can see where the problems are. I think the person who installed them put some bead seal around the tire trying to stop it from leaking. I still need to get it fixed. If you think that you can fix it please contact me. I have a wife who is fearful of getting on it knowing the front tire is leaking. Outside of this issue, you all did a marvelous job on my Classic. Jim Alford.

Stranded on I-75 just south of Lake City with my phone almost dead. Being from Wisconsin I googled Harley dealer near me. The closest was Gainesville Harley-Davidson 40 miles away. They came with a trailer in a reasonable amount of time and got my bike on the rack a.s.a.p. Being after 4:30 I know that they had to change their schedule to get me in. In short order I was back on the road. They were courteous, prompt and went above and beyond for me. The price was reasonable and I was so happy I even had to buy a T-shirt. Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate it. Job well done!That is why I own a Harley Davison motorcycle.

While riding down from Georgia with my husband, I got a rear tire flat passing through Lake City so had it towed to the nearest Harley dealership which happened to be Gainesville HD. So glad we made it there before they closed. The service staff were friendly and very helpful. They carefully looked over my Slim to make sure no other issues with the tire since we still had a long ride down to Ft. Lauderdale. Thankfully it was a simple tube replacement and it was handled promptly and professionally. Turns out I also needed rear brake pads so went ahead and had that done too. I’m very happy with the service. Everyone was very nice and pleasant and even provided us with free refreshments while we waited. Thank you for taking care of my iron girl! My wife and I were touring on our 2011 ultra classic. We experienced engine problems half hour out of Gainesville. Called Gainesville Harley Davidson and they towed us in. Stayed late working on the motorcycle and got us on the road again. Josh was wonderful in keeping us notified of our progress throughout the fix. Went there for a free fathers day haircut with my boys, they had a beautiful 19 Fat Boy 114 that a guy had traded in for a street glide after he tried to make it into one with adding a quick-detach fairing and about 3 grand in other items, and they made the deal too good to refuse. Just had its 5k-mile service done too. I already have a 17 street glide me and the GF enjoy, and I always wanted a Fat Boy, so she now has to learn to operate the Street Glide on her own, but we now need a smaller sportster for her to learn on first.

After several bad experiences with another dealership on my first Harley, I figured I would give Gainesville a try. Traded my first Harley for a bigger one and Joey treated me more than right and also built a relationship afterwards. The I have the service department a chance. They not only were way more professional and helpful than the other dealer but they also fixed my bike first time every time without screwing me financially. I have been an auto tech for 35 years so of course Im picky concerning repairs. Have never found any faults with them. And trust me, I looked. Good peeps!

One of their trucks towing a trailer was in my hometown and was aggressively driving while heading south, I assume back to Florida. About sideswiped my vehicle and another while forcing their way into a turn lane without signaling. They need to remember that their behavior out in public represents their business practices

While on a recent trip from Atlanta to Key west lost - heal shifter. Stopped in to purchase new shifter. Happy it was in stock and the Service department was nice enough to inspect the teeth on the shaft and installed the shifter properly with lock-tite for me. Very appreciative and expected to pay something for the shops time, told me all was good and wished me a safe rest of my trip. Thanks Again!!

Nice facility and great selection of everything Harley. New and used motorcycle buildings as well as tattoo parlor, accessories and apparel. Staff was knowledgeable about their dealership and others. I brought my bike in for a back break recall. When I got the bike back I noticed that the brake had to be pressed the brake down too far so I brought the bike in again. During the check-in the service personnel notice that I need a front tire, I was told it would be around $200 and I agreed. I later got a call from the service personnel that my barrings needed attention and was told it would be $65 and I agreed again to the repairs. When I called to get my total I was told it was $590 instead of around $300. I was at that time I learned that the labor for the barrings was over $300. Had I known that I would not have gotten the barrings done at this time and has them done at a later date.. Your service department should be more upfront about the total cost of the work before beginning the work. Not wait until you have the customers vehicle in you possession before you inform the customer about the price. It seems underhanded, and are business practices the I want nothing to do with. I from now on will take my bike to Ocala and will do all future business with them.

My husband and I went in looking to do a trade in, I asked for a smooth no nonsense salesman I did not want to be jerked around with numbers. We talked to Big Tim and he got us on a new bike gave us a good deal on our trade in, very painless process. Everyone was so nice and accommodating for us and out children that we brought in as well. Id like to share my experience with this dealership and the Service & Parts Director Kyle. On a long (to me) distance trip from Texas to Florida I had a indicator light come on and this was the closest dealership to my location. I was so worried that my trip was coming to an unexpected & premature end. But as soon as I was able to talk with someone (5-10mins) they assured me they look into it and give me their honest findings. After are few minutes my bike was whisked off and then given a test ride. At the in of the interaction I was confident I was roadworthy again and set off. I was happy I got to finish my trip without issue, and home safely. For the care and speed I received this review is something I wanted to do. Id recommend this dealership to anyone out of town in need, and anyone intown should feel lucky.

Jeff is the most customer friendly and knowledgeable salesman Ive ever met. I travel from Brandon, FL to buy my bikes from him/Gainesville solely based on the customer service at this dealership. Jeff in particular and all employees that I have encountered have been the best customer service representatives of all the Harley Dealerships I have visited in the past 10 years. The service department has been prompt and timely when I have made appointments for service knowing that I would be coming from afar. Went there looking for a Harley Breakout and was greeted by Jon Buck. Explained to him what I was looking for and what I would like. After a few minutes he explained the store had none in stock and then proceeded to look down every avenue to find exactly what I wanted. After about a month Jon Buck and the Gainesville Harley team called to tell me they had exactly what I had been in search of. Then to top it off they gave me a great deal and had me in and out on my brand new 2020 FXBRS in no time at all. This isn’t a “Store” it is friends and family, brothers and sisters who are just as passionate about your ride as you are.

Their inventory on all items are properly stocked full. Great selections of MCs, HD Clothing, Gifts and so much more,seem updated & current and have many price reductions along with sales. Its hard to walk out empty handed for me anyway!

Great service from checkin till checkout. Upfront with any issues found during services and never proceed without customer approval. Parts and apparel never push but are always there and friendly when you need them. Sales are the same, never pushy and always eager to help wherever needed. Drove to Gainesville HD to speak with George Shallis regarding a 2020 HD Ultra Classic in the Zephyr Blue. George said he could get the Blue bike in, what would it take for us to sign and give a deposit. We said we were going to look at the same bike in MS and wed sign for a deal at $29k. George cameBack with an order sheet with $29k written on it giving me all the added options to match the bike I was planning on seeing. I not only signed the purchase order but also shook both Georges hand and the Managers hand, Tim Myers to seal the deal. They called today to tell me the bike was finally in but the deal was off. If I wanted the bike, Id have to pay thousands more. What happened to honoring your word??? Honoring what you wrote on a piece of paper that you had your customer sign PLUS a credit card was given for a deposit to show our good faith. We did EVERYTHING the dealership asked, but they just changed their minds and are now NOT honoring the deal. BAIT AND SWITCH DEALERSHIP with getting you involved, interested and committed only to inflate the price. Pathetic and SHADY dealings. Do not shop here! They will only talk the talk but when it comes to honoring their word, its worth the same in value as the paper it was written on. After checking locally for the bike I wanted and not finding it at either of my closest dealers I contacted Jeff Turner about a bike. Took the 2.5 hour drive down. George was waiting for me at my appointment time. He showed me a good selection of both used and new Iron 883s. After the test drive we discussed the options and I selected a new bike due to getting a better warranty. Kristen was excellent in working thru all the paperwork and getting me where I felt I needed to be. This team was great to work with and all were very friendly and supportive. Even though they are a drive for me, I look forward to dealing with them in the future. Well worth the drive.
