Friendliness atmosphere

Ive done business at this place since 1986. and it still has the down home comfortable atrosphere as always. A few of the clerks have changed over the years but they all make you feel right at home.

They have every thing you can look for.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I’ve been going here since we moved to Gainesville last year, because it’s close to our house. I’ve never had an issue purchasing alcohol. Today they informed me that they could not sell to me, because my ID was vertical. Even though I’m 23. Tell me why I would pay for a new ID when mine hasn’t expired yet. They’ve sold to me in the past with no issue. When my ID expires in May and I have to get a new one, I still won’t return here. I’ll drive the extra 5 minutes to North Lake Liquor, where they don’t have such poor business practices.

Perfectly situated for those outside of town. The price is slightly higher than in town but it saves you the drive.

For some unknown reason they refused to sell to me even though Im 26 years old turning 27 in a month and had my ID. I still have my old drivers license because it doesnt expire until 2019 but they wouldnt take it. I work at QuikTrip and I know for a fact that isnt a law. I explained that to them, and the rude person behind the counter said that, we know its not a law, but its our store, and we dont want to sell to you.The worst part is that I have been there and bought from there at least 25-30 times before, and its never been an issue.I definitely will not be coming back again, and Ill make sure that if anyone asks me about it, they know not to go there.Extremely rude and disrespectful employees.

I’m 21, but the store efused to sell me alcohol because my ID was “vertical” instead of horizontal. I was told it was the owners policy. went a few miles down the road and spent $50. guess it’s their loss. can’t believe they would refuse money when i’m of legal age. I won’t be back.

A good business with nice management

This place is a joke, the dude tried to not sell to me even after I showed him my id and even a carry permit to prove my age. I got my drinks thanks to the other employee that calmed this dude down but I will never go back.
