Extremely hot so we didnt get to spend nearly as much time as I wouldve liked to. But it was such a great place to take my kids, enjoy lunch, and enjoy being outside with nature! Loved the butterfly garden and just want more flowers for my own garden now! I cant wait to go back when its just a bit cooler.

This place is amazing! I’ve been meaning to go for 4 years and finally got to this year. About an hour drive from the Dallas area and has a large lavender farm with a cafe. There are other exotic flowers with some lemurs abs birds, and you can walk around to take beautiful pictures. Their food and beverages are made with lavender like lavender tea (cold or hot) and lavender lemonade. The lavender ice cream with lavender honey was the highlight. Perfect for such a humid day.You can harvest your own lavender.. they keep scissors and baskets ready for that. They also sell plants and have a gift shop that smells heavenly once you walk in with lavender lotion, soap, honey, sauce and natural oils! The lavender lip balm is my favorite.

This place is incredible! It’s like a fairy tale that’s hidden in north Texas. It’s about an hour drive from the Allen/Plano and has a large lavender farm with a cafe. There other exotic flowers allover and you can walk around to so many spots to take beautiful photos! Their food and beverages are made with lavender like lavender tea (cold or hot) and lavender lemonade. The owners are so friendly and the highlight of my trip was that even have delicious vegan food and dessert options! This place is really such a gem! You can buy all sorts of plants and there is a gift shop with lavender lotion, soap, honey, sauce and natural oils!

This was the first time we visited and it was worth it - Lavender galore 💜We had brunch along with the mix of Lavender tea and lemonade, which felt like drinking a fresh morning in the heat of Texas - it was excellent!Everyone here was friendly, relaxed, helpful and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a relaxing day trip, enjoy the smell of Lavender, and you like being treated with Texas hospitality, this is the place to check out.

It’s really cool to find family friendly spots with tons of character. This is one. Great staff made up of folks that were relaxed, kind, and pleased to help us. Food was summery and delicious with several dishes having lavender very thoughtfully fit in.Pro tip:Hit the cafe first (it’s all good… but don’t miss on..)- Lavender Iced Tea 💯- Gooey Cake 🤤- Lavender ice cream before it sells out 🤓Harvest your lavenderThen shop the nursery and store- if you buy a lot… pull your car up on the way out and snag your new plants

We drove just over an hour to Gainesville for a day out, and decided to eat here. Got here at about 1 in the afternoon, and it wasnt too crowded. I love that they have outdoor seating, so you can enjoy looking around while you eat. The people that own it and work there are just SO sweet! The food is absolutely amazing, and the prices are completely reasonable. The gift shop is great too, and Im SO glad I was able to get some lavender honey. All in all, its a completely lovely place, and we WILL be back!!

I was looking for something different to do on my day off and found this place. Im so glad I did! A friend and I went there and had lunch at the outdoor Cafe which was really delicious. I highly recommend the lavender cheesecake for dessert. And I really enjoyed walking around and taking pictures of all of the beautiful flowers. They had many plans that you can buy and take home outside of the gift shop, which was full of many awesome products at really great prices which you dont usually find in gift shops. It was a really great day! Cant wait to visit again.

It really wasnt what I expected since most of the lavender blooms had passed. BUT!! It was a pleasing experience which included getting out to nature, having a nice lunch and purchasing reasonably priced plants. We loved the wait staff, the gift shop personnel, and especially the helpful man and woman out front, who I assume were the owners. It was a good day. Be prepared to get your car dirty if its rained because you go quite a way on a dirt road. Dont give up. GPS will get you there and mud washes off! Its worth it. Dont forget to see the menagerie of wild animals!! ❤️

Vegan/Vegetarian friendly at the cafe!❤❤❤ Will totally go back! I didnt go for the Lavendar farm itself as I had read its lackluster due to loss of crops. I went for everything else.Ate outside at the cafe with beautiful scenery, delicious food, awesome wait staff. You must try the Lavendar lemonade & they sell it by the gallon! We went on a Sat & there was no wait. The food came out quick & was delish. They have several menu items labelled for Vegans/Vegetarians! I got the Everything avacado bagel. It was so goodI could eat it everyday! They have an indoor shop selling all sorts of Lavendar products. They sell plants outdoors & have birds/Lemurs in large cages spread out throughout the wooded area to look at. They have a large beautiful flower garden.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Locally owned and beautiful to the eye, nose, ears, and tastebuds. Surprisingly, there isn’t a cost of admission, but you can contribute to the farm by attending the cafe or gift shop. Where to begin with this place? The flowers and landscape make you feel both intrigued and at peace. Meanwhile, the lemurs (that’s right, LEMURS!), birds, chickens, and roosters ignite your childlike wonder and give you a little boost of happiness! This is the perfect spot for a nature walk, photo shoot, or friend date. Wish I could give it more than five stars!

I love lavender ridge farms and keep going back every summer. I’ve taken friends and grandparents here. Anytime someone is visiting Texas for the first time I take them here. It’s near enough to the Dallas/Fort Worth area that you can make a little day trip of it and allows you to see a little slice of rural Texas. The atmosphere is laid back, casual and relaxing. You walk among the flowers and lavender field and see the family’s small animals. There’s goats, birds and a pig. It’s very laid back and you’re free to wander around, sit in their hammock and just enjoy the day. They serve fresh and light salads and sandwiches and a lavender lemonade that you have to try. There’s a gift shop that sells homemade soaps and products as well.

Their Lavender Festival is an absolutely pathetic failure! 45 minutes waiting in line to be learn we cant get -- NO ONE CAN. The parking has long since been full and the only cars moving are the ones that u-turned on the narrow dirt road to get out (which still takes 20 minutes). By the way, we learned that from someone who turned back -- the actual wait was 2 hours or more.Folks inside let us know that there are NO LAVENDERS to pick, and only a comically pitiful patch to look at. Attendees basically get to be miserable in order to see a row of vendor booths.
