Just a small quote from a short googling about Starbucks products that I was inspired for obvious reasons to share:My wife and I got a bottle each on the way back home from A weekend road trip. Questioned the lack of seal but since the top popped we figured it was sealed. I noticed that the whole column of these in the cooler were missing the plastic safety seal across the top. The line next to it had the plastic safety seal.Later on the road as I kept on thinking about it, I examined the top of the bottle where the plastic base of the seal would normally be connected to the top, at the lip of the metal lid. I noticed the plastic was cut off in an inconsistent manner, wavy edge as if someone with a razor knife maybe cut it off.As I think about this, It would be very easy to reseal the vacuum seal on a bottle. Just have a lot of near boiling water and submerge the bottle to the neck for 20 minutes to heat the contents. Put the lid back on. As the contents cool it recreates they vacuum seal.I’ve had plenty of time to think about this bottle I bought yesterday afternoon because I have been up and down all night with really bad stomach cramps and other flu-like symptoms. 🤢🤮Coincidence?Unsealed Starbucks cold coffee bottles, recommend avoiding.

All in all a great store, Ive gotten many of my dungeons and dragon supplies here for very fair prices. however their current pricing on Pokémon TCG products makes it so a standard collector cant afford to buy them. 89.99 for an ETB that retails for $49.99 MSRP is difficult to stomach in these financial times. If they could be flexible (msrp) on their pricing for collectors I would easily rate this five stars.

They have the entire back half of the store full of tables to play games and the largest and most diverse game library Ive seen. It is great for playing a new game before throwing down the $40+ on it. We saw a game we thought the niece would like, brought her and played for a few hours, and left with game in hand. Not a great place for Magic tournaments, at least for outsiders. I came today for their Booster Draft, which was advertised to start at 7:00. I showed up around 6:45 and was told I could put my name down on the list, but that the event would start at 7:30. I said, OK, Is it cool to put my name down and go get something to eat? and the guy behind the counter said that was fine, so I wrote my name on the signup sheet. Then I went for food and returned at 7:25 and was told Id missed the deadline (no deadline had been mentioned) and the draft had already started. This isnt the first issue Ive had here; When I first moved to Gainesville, I contacted them a week before the Ravnica Allegiance prerelease in order to find out if there would be an event, since there was none posted. They created an event after that, which advised people to show up a bit early to register. I arrived early, and was told thered been a preregistration list, which hadnt been mentioned online or in my messages asking about the event, and that the event was full.Running a shop is tough, and there are a lot of good reviews here, so maybe Ive just been unlucky; but the impression I get is that theyve got their own community of Magic players and dont care much to make things accessible to outsiders. Id recommend going somewhere else for Magic tournaments, or at least calling them ahead if you want to play here. Even if you have assurances about when to show up and have signed up for an event, be ready for them to flake.

While I have enjoyed playing at this store for several months, the owner or manager has made it a poor environment to play in, creating policies that the local community disapprove of and often going out of her way to create conflict between her customers and other local stores. New employees are terrible. I hope the owners read this review and feel embarrassed. I’m one of several people who spends hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars a year in this store. I even pay for their membership. I’ve never felt so disrespected by employees. There has been a lot of turnover lately for the worse. In response to the owner below: it is more than failing to let us know. We’ve participated in the same manner every time we come to your store. For over a year. Not only did you decide this time that you have a “policy” but your employee chose to be rude and nasty to us. Also please do not lie about the time frame. We signed up at 5:15 and we were back in the shop being insulted by your staff at 5:40. You even attempted to apologize and claim your staff was “new” and it was a mistake after you realized how much money gets spent. What you need to own up to is that fact that you disrespected customers for no reason.

Lots of great, unusual games that you wont find anywhere else, and you can demo most of them at the store.Need players for D&D or other RP campaigns? This is a great place to find them. Magic the Gathering contests and other tournaments are a regular feature as well. Many games are geared toward older teens and adults looking for long, interactive experiences that require challenging, tactical decision-making or group efforts.Snacks are available at a reasonable price, and there is a build-and-take Lego area where you can design custom Lego creations and pay per ounce to bring them home.
