Smart stone is without a doubt The best knowledgeable granite company in town. No need to shop around they did a superior job, rob and the installers are top-notch professionals they answered all of my questions they cleaned up very nicely after the fact and my kitchen looks like a million bucks and the price he charged me for this was more than fair I shopped around town and I can tell you you won’t find a more quality knowledgeable company to help protect your investment than smart stone.

We have been wanting new countertops since we moved into our house a couple of years ago. Smart Stone was recommended to us so we checked them out. We sent our measurements to them and received an estimate right away. We then went in and picked out our granite and set up an install date. Called Smart Stone because it was small, local, and had good reviews and was not disappointed. Fast, professional service and I love my new quartz countertops and undermount sink! Smart Stones product was over $1000 less than the quote I got from Jackson Stoneworks and I chose a premium color for the same price as a standard color. The installation was perfect, everything is flat and well-fitted. I Rob handled a few special requests for the design with ease.The big difference in price is mainly because the counters are pre-cut from a thin slab, then the edges are built up so they are double the thickness. Other companies may custom-cut countertops out of one thick, continuous piece of stone. For some people, that may be a better option, however, I prefer having countertops that are lightweight but still extremely strong. Less material also means less waste.

Rob did a great job with the quartz top that I ordered through him for my new kitchen. He was quick, timely, and efficient; it took about a week for him to put an order and install the top. The crew was professional, meticulous, and courteous during and even after installation. My cabinets were uneven and crooked here and there but the workers were able to make appropriate adjustments. Highly endorse his professional work ethics and craftsmanship!

Looking for a granite countertop for the kitchen was being a challenge. Some places just had very expensive pieces and others offered a bad customer experience. Found smart stone through the great reviews in google. I went in to check out what they had and Rob was super personable and transparent. I immediately found a beautiful stone that I liked. Not only was it the most affordable I found in Gainesville but it was a beautiful piece and Rob is awesome to work with. He listened and definitely understood what I was looking for. He was also extremely accommodating! From finding the piece to full installation was only about 2 weeks. Very professional and installation went super smooth. Smart Stone Countertops did an incredible job of granite installation in our kitchen. Rob was fast; it only took 48 hours from measurement to a complete installation. The installation team was on team, and they were very skillful, meticulous in their work. The top looks almost seamless. It was a perfect job. The price was also very reasonable to us. I wish I could give him a six-star review.

Smart Stone was my saving grace during a stressful period of my life. I was at my wits end with Home Depot. I had gone through two counter top companies and neither had called me in two months for even an appointment. I was Currently at four months without a completely functioning kitchen. I fired Home Depot for the counter tops and hired Smart Stone. Rob and his crew at Smart Stone were like angels. Not only were they quick at making my countertops and professional the entire experience, the counter tops came out gorgeous. I would 100% recommend them to anyone needing counter tops and I will be using them again when I renovate the other parts of my home.

Our kitchen countertops look horrible where they seamed at an L-shaped piece. The entire piece is discolored and the seam is very obvious. I did reach out to the company and we were told to do a test spot of trying to lift discoloration out, I called back and no return call. Very disappointed. Please be careful when choosing white colored countertops from this company.

Smart stone as a whole did an amazing job on our kitchen and bathroom granite additions. The choice to use them over other companies began with the pleasant demeanor of Rob and his staff. We began our journey in our first home which was a small condo. Wanting to upgrade we met with him and reviewed his selection along with obtaining prices. We decided to price check around for other companies and selections, but overall we decided to wait until we moved into a bigger Home. One year later we had purchased our first home and were in the process of moving and selling the condo. We went back to Rob to look at the new granites and new Quartz offered. He immediately remembered my husband and I. He even knew which granite we liked previously by memory. Once we obtained new prices and quotes we decided to move forward. The install was quick and easy and we are super excited with the finsihed product. His overall customer service and attitude is rare to find in modern businesses. Highly recommend using Smart Stone!

I have remodeled over 20 houses in my lifetime, and Rob was by far the easiest granite company to work with. Approximately three weeks earlier I gave him a date that we would be ready for template. Two days prior to that date I had to move the date back to days. Rob‘s reply was, “no problem”. He showed up on time to complete the template. He also pointed out some issues that would help us with putting our refrigerator in. He came back two days later to do the install. He was on time, and his work was perfection. I cannot recommend this company enough.

He was super nice and professional when we met him to pick out our countertops and he had the work done so much faster than we expected. He even came back to re-install our under cabinet lighting in person after the backsplash was installed. He was much cheaper than some other quotes that we got! I would definitely recommend him to everyone. I just wish he did more than just countertops because I would hire him to fix the whole house if I could!

Me and my husband have recently started our kitchen renovation. Smart Stone Countertops was highly recommend through a friend I work with. They did a beautiful job on her new counters with a great price tag. We set up an appointment with Rob he was very informative to help and explain all of our questions. Rob did an awesome job with our granite kitchen countertop and now our quartz bathroom countertop. He is very responsive and completed both projects promptly and efficiently. His work is exceptional. Highly recommended and will be using them a third time for our other bathroom renovation.

If there was a possibility for a 0 star thats what this man Rob would get.. My husband and I called him about getting countertops after being referred to him he was extremely rude and hung up on my husband.. We didnt know he is only open by appointment from 7a to 9a.. And just because we didnt know thats how he was trying to operate a business he hung up on my husband.. He is extremely rude and will not be getting any business from us or any of our houses .. You cant operate a business so rudely or treat people like that and prosper.. You wont go far in life doing that to people.. We will also be sure to tell our 2 major builders not to use him at all..

Delivered and installed quartz bathroom sink top with chip, scratches and discoloration. The undermount sink was even crooked.When I said I was unhappy the installer removed the top along with a big piece of sheetrock behind it. A week later Rob the owner brought the top back. After he installed it again, it had scratches in it where their drill had removed the discoloration and 2 chips in the bottom of the sidesplash. When I told him I was unhappy he got an attitude and said well that is the best I can do. He begrudgingly took the top out and gave me my money back. Pay a little more and go with a reputable company or you will be very disappointed.

Have had them out for 2 jobs. Expectations are always exceeded; service and prices excellent.

This should be the first place you should look for granite as you will be back here to buy. Or you could just save the time and go here and buy Rob Martins countertops. I am on a Big Box Store diet lately and prefer to shop at locally owned and operated stores for my appliances, lighting, fixtures and now countertops. Im just a homeowner who is putting in a kitchen after owning this place for 20 years and tired of our 1984 Kitchen that was crumbling. Cabinets are another whole story as is flooring.Smart Stone is a shop that has the granite on the floor. Its all one price 35/foot installed. One price and 12 choices of colors. One edge-bullnose included in price. He comes out and makes a template and in our case as promised showed up the day he said and installed. His 2 craftsmen Nathan and Curtis were very good and keep your place clean and neat. They know their stuff and its great to see such team work and expertise. We ran into a few stumbling blocks and Rob figured out ways to make it work due to our walls not being straight. If there is a problem he will make it right. Our sink was supposed to be biscuit but white got put in and no problem he fixed that.Its the best deal in countertops in Gainesville. Highly recommended as a great value from some craftsmen who care about quality work.I cant feel the seams on the countertop!! Cant even see them.
