Outreach Thrift Store is the best place to thrift in town! Ive never walked out of there empty handed. They always have a wide assortment of household items, clothes, and shoes at unbeatable prices. They even have a $1 rack and 25 cent rack. The staff are extremely friendly, and they keep the store clean & organized.

I absolutely loved this thrift store. Great deals and items. However the best part is the staff who clearly love their jobs and are so helpful and friendly. We will be back...ALOT!!!

I went in this thrift store on Thursday and bought many clothing for a small price and loved everything I saw! The man that waited on me was so nice I even heard him whistling while the music was playing as I shop, great music too. I will definitely be back real soon.

Honestly the best thrift store in Gainesville for clothes. Everything is arranged very neat and is organized. Fitting rooms are nice and clean. Always a pleasure shopping here and the employees are very kind and friendly (however most do not wear masks if that is something that concerns you). They also have some great kitchen supplies and knick knacks but they are more clothing heavy (which I enjoy) and they don’t sell furniture. I usually come here a couple times in a month and most of the times I find a couple pieces! My only negative is that I can never find any cute accessories (like hats/scarfs) or shoes here because they’re mostly grandma-ish style. I would say it’s worth a visit if you haven’t been!

First time shopper here. Wow! The supply and variety is abundant. Its more on the cloths side, but a fair share of other items also. Items are in good shape, will be noted if missing anything, and the prices! Wow excellent! I went to browse and found a few things I couldnt pass up! I will return!

Doing a lot of traveling here lately on the very small budget. Finding amazing places like this makes keeping a nice up to date outfit easy and budget friendly!!! Every item I found was marked correct and in the section I was looking. They evan had a .25 rack. I dont know if it was just nostalgia but it was pretty cool rummaging through that. You never know what you might find. Was so impressed I made a little video. Appreciate it all the staffs help. Very nice store.

Great place for used goods and clothing. Staff is kind and friendly, building is clean, prices are right.Wide variety on womens and childrens clothing and accessories, mens cloths and small appliances are availabe as well. There is even a selection of used books and jewelry.

Nice store love shopping there

I usually love this store, the prices are great, but their lack of enforcement for safety in this pandemic is honestly frightening and disrespectful.You can tell people in the comments that you are enforcing CDC guidelines since your store says to wear a mask, but the employees will not tell anyone who isn’t wearing a mask to wear one. None of the three employees at the cashier were wearing a mask, and i needed to get close to check out, even though I was afraid that the cashier was sick and was breathing on me and my clothes. Even if SOME of the employees are medically exempt like you say (which i find hard to believe, since it’s very rare and NONE of the employees were wearing a mask), they shouldn’t be in contact with customers and there should be a divider at least.To anyone wondering if they should go here: just wait until after the pandemic and go somewhere else in town, they do not care about your safety.

My item was on sale too, what a score!I found the staff to friendly and helpful since I have never been in before walked me straight to the items I was looking for.The prices seem very reasonable as well.I will definitely be back I’ll be telling everybody I know to go check it out.

The outreach thrift store has some good stuff. I was looking for babies and kids Clothes as a single dad i need all the help i can get!The staff was friendly and helpful, prices were great, they even have brand names like Nike, Adidas, and Carhartt. I have been all over town looking for good deals, hands down they beat Goodwill and salvation Army.I will definitely going back and telling all my single parent friends to check them out!

Talk about a hidden gem in Gainesville! From vintage kitchen wear to brand new name brand clothing items, this place has it all. The wonderful selection is well presented with the thoughtful lay out of the store. A definite keeper in my book.

This store is a true gem! The prices, the owner, and the employees play such a role in making it truly unique. With the COVID nightmare, I am completely at ease shopping here versus going to big box stores. Worth a stop for a friendly hi even if you don’t find a great deal at every visit,

I used to love this place. The first time after I visited the store after the pandemic, not one employee was wearing a mask properly. All were wearing the mask below the nose. The second time I went in, not one employee was wearing a mask. NOT ONE. Also, I noticed the prices on clothing has increased significantly. Between the lack of masks and the prices I will think twice before shopping.

The only bad reviews on this place are people complaining about masks. Masks have never been mandated in Florida and are not required. If you’re too afraid to go into the public because of Covid, then stay at home.

The workers here do not enforce Mask guidelines, its literally dangerous to shop here. They let customers come in without masks. I needed some things when I shopped this weekend but I quickly left when saw this embarrassing display

Ive been dying to get into this store for the longest and i finally did today....ive worked in many a thrift stores and have to say i was disappointed to say the least...i learned about pricing and the needs of the clients and this place was over priced way over priced! For used items just because its brand name i am not going to come in and spend 8-15$ because it says nike or a&fNow mind you if i had the money i may have bought a few things...the goodwill has much better pricing maybe not so much a good selection at timesAnd the sale for the day was green tags 1/2 off....i saw maybe 5 green tags...during my search for what i was looking forProb wont go backAnd the workers there werent exactly welcoming

I thrift a lot and this place was exceptional. The childs section was expensive compared to the adults. Otherwise great prices with additional discounts and sales. Very organized layout too.

Of the several employees in the store only one was wearing a mask. They allow customers to walk around in the store unmasked.

I been going here for over 5+ years even back when they were at their old location. I like the selection and the prices are very reasonable. Most times, I do get greeted with a simple hello. They allow you to shop without pestering you. A lot of my work clothes I get from here, many still have the tags on them. Dropping off donations is very easy and a lot less stressful than other stores. The inventory is constantly changing. Best thrift store in town. 🙂

I’ve frequented this store for well over a year and it’s my favorite thrift store in Gainesville. Came in today after not going for a while and not a single one of the employees was wearing a mask. This is so dangerous and irresponsible considering that they are the ones tagging the wares and checking everyone out. Will not be coming back.

I always find something when I come here, definitely a lot of hidden gems you just have to put in the work to find them! Times where there are a lot of children can be quite irritating so try to come on slow days. Still love the selection and the prices are the best around!

This is hands down the best store, thrift or otherwise, in Gainesville or surrounding areas. Best prices, best selection, best employees, best owners, etc. I reluctantly went with my SIL one day, I say reluctantly because I just cant stand thrift stores anymore. They either want to glitz and glamour themselves into todays latest fashion with outrageous prices and snobby employees where even the clothes laugh at you when you walk in (Im looking at you Sandys) or theyre just too cramped, small with just horrible product with outrageous prices. Outreach Thrift Store is NONE of those things, may be a bit cramped when packed but the place is massive. Just go to the next aisle and youll find something while you wait. If I need anything I check there first. Seriously, Ive bought my sons wedding outfit for our wedding, both kids Christmas outfits, MY BRIDAL SHOES FOR $2!!! The SAME exact shoes I was about to buy from Davids Bridal for $50. You wont walk out empty handed.

Came here today for the first time for school clothes shopping for my son expecting to spend 120-150 and only spent 88 dollars. Got him very nice adidas and Jordans each for only 2.95 also got a lot clothes very cheap. Also got myself and my wife some nice shoes!!! I recommend this place and i look forward to visiting again.

I love this place. They have really great deals, such as $1-5 deals. I found this super cute Volcom dress that was being sold for $2.95 and Volcom is a pretty pricey brand. Also I found just a regular T-shirt for $2 that was a Star Wars meme shirt. I got other stuff as well but those are just the highlights. They have plenty of dressing rooms. As I was checking out, the older man was very kind and we had a short and pleasant conversation.

This place is awesome. Always find good plus sized shirts here and cool trinkets. Its big. The people working there are nice.

My wife and I have been visting the outreach for a few years now. Great prices on merchandise, and a good selection as well. The owner is a really cool guy, and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

I usually like to buy books from here but I will not be going back. The employees are very rude and judging. I was browsing the books as usual and the girl kept eyeing me and giving me dirty looks. I was then looking a plane model i was interested in buying and she mentioned there was a camera watching me. Keeping in mind I had no backpack or large bag to conceal anything. I was in my work scrubs and had just had a long day. I am very disappointed.

Visited for the first time today. My daughter and I were not greeted at all, although I did hear staff greeting others who came in after us (I tried to make eye contact on the way out and was ignored then as well). Found nothing in my size (Plus) nor my daughters (4T). Prices seemed reasonable if I couldve found sizes, I guess. Good toy selection for very small kids. Kinda cramped little store. I feel more comfortable at Goodwill, truthfully.

Very easy to drop off donations and pop inside to buy yourself a little treat for getting rid of your old stuff. Loads of clothes, their quarter rack, clearance rack and priced as marked racks are not to be missed. Best shoe selection in town! Got 3 pair last time🙆
