Btw, we are not related at all. The owner, Everardo Sánchez, is extremely knowledgeable, as well as his crew. Dont get fooled by appearance, when he fixes your vehicle, you dont have to come again for the same reason.

I used Sanchez auto repair a couple of times the past year for replacing some minor parts on my vehicle. The service was good. I called Sanchez in June this year and shared that I had a bigger project need that would require taking off parts from a donor vehicle and putting them on my that I had just purchased. I let him know I would provide the donor car and all he would have to do is swap parts. Both cars were the same but the donor car was wrecked in the back and had great parts that I thought could be switched to my car. It had very low mileage for the transmission and engine. At the end of this I felt I could have a good solid car if I switched out parts. We agreed on the time of four weeks to do the swap and the parts that would be swapped would be doors fenders hood bumper, engine transmission, rims/tires, seats headliner carpet and any suspension parts that were worn. I had spoken to another mechanic and he said this would not be that challenging to do and he quoted me a price that I thought was fair. However, I had wanted to stay faithful to Sanchez since he had offered to help me get the cars to the shop. He just seems like a nice family guy when you meet him and I wanted to support his business. I shared with Sanchez that I know he may run into some obstacles with this swap but I really needed to be sure I got the car back in 30 days because I am giving this car as a gift to someone who didn’t have a car and they are waiting on it and would be coming in town to pick it up. If he could not do this, then I would go with my other mechanic that I had used for years and knew he could get this done. He assured me this would be plenty of time to do this job. Sanchez also agreed he would not give the car back with issues. 30 days came and went and the car was still not ready. We were forced to fly back the person we were donating the car too apologizing and let them know that we had been lead by Sanchez he could have this job done. Long story short when the car was finally ready 7 weeks later, I asked Sanchez if the car had been evaluated and driven and if they had really checked out the suspension to be sure it was in good shape. I had thought that the struts on the older car should maybe be replaced because they looked worn to me. Sanchez assured me the Struts were fine and he aligned the car. Everything was great. So we finally picked the car up after having some bad experiences with a paint guy that he recommended. I drive the car and the AC felt week so I turned around and let him know this. So he put more Freon in. I turned back around picked my wife up headed to Texas to deliver the car. On the way our check engine light came on, the car began pulling heavy to the right. The cruise control did not work. We finally get to Texas 12 hours later and took it to two mechanics that told us the car could not have been aligned because your struts are gone and both control arms have sever wear. Essentially, they said your mechanic lied to you. I was then told the check engine light was due to the catalytic converter. My wife and I were just destroyed because we were getting hit with higher mechanic prices and needed to get the car done to deliver it. I also had all these parts on the donor car that were in great shape since the donor car had far fewer miles. So I was out higher labor and parts. Not only did we wait 3 months for a job that promised by Sanchez to be done in 30 days, but he deceived us and left us with a mess of issues with the car when I finally got it back. He is not reliable and honest and I would highly encourage those who use him to be aware especially if you have a larger project. I don’t understand why he would do this. We were more than happy to pay him for his work. But he just didn’t see the value of this in returning the car completed as he promised. If he could not do the work he should have stated this and allowed us to find someone else. I am hoping we have no other issues with his other work. That remains to be seen.
