Friendly staff, and surprisingly wide variety of goods to choose from, in addition to your traditional farm and ranch needs. I was really impressed with their prices, especially sale and clearance items. I spent around $18 in total on several items that would have easily cost me $80+ at full price, or more than that at other stores.

Great Service by the A1 small engine repair. Chainsaws once again cut through trees, like a hot knife through butter.

Highly recommend. Friendly, helpful people. I just move to the area and was going camping. I could not find my generator key or get the generator to pull start . They got me fixed up right away for a fraction of the cost of a new generator.

I called Brad at 11:30 AM Saturday morning. He picked up my lawn mower at 1 PM. And delivered. It back to me Tuesday at 6 PM wonderful service great job and it came to nine dollars below the price that was quoted to me. Its not the nine it is the honesty that I appreciate.

Shopped around for chainsaws and heavy duty weed eaters at Tractor Supply, Atwoods, online, and then found A-1. Thank God! Very friendly folks. Fast service not like HD,etc. and Brad explains everything. Bought a better one than the box stores sell at a great price. They fill them up with gas and pretest. Next he shows you how to start them and maintain them. Heck, he even carried them to my truck. Want go anywhere else now that we are moving back to TX. Used them the last two days to clear land. Worked great and glad l got the better ones. Thanks A-1!

What a rude group of people. I called on the phone looking for some string trimmer parts. The lady said she had a couple so I drove 20 miles to their store. When I get there she has no idea of how to help me. There was a gentleman behind the counter that I explained what I needed and he stated they couldnt help me. I told him I had numerous trimmers to repair and he stated maybe you should order your own parts. I was there to give them some of my money. Never again!

BEST SMALL ENGINE REPAIR COMPANY AROUND!!! I was sure I was going to have to buy a new mower after 8 years. I called and they came and picked my mower up, it took about 3-4 days to get it looked at, he let me know a cost and saved me thousands of dollars that I would have spent on a new mower. My mower runs just as good now as it did 8 months ago! In a world that is always looking for the bad to report on, it is my pleasure to say that this is the shop I will be using from now on. D&L is excellent at Customer Service but their hours dont always work with my schedule. Even still I go there because of the dry dog foods they carry and their knowledge about the different foods.

Most helpful & friendly staff

I went to their old location and swore I would never go back. I was in a pinch so I took my riding mower to their place on 380. I explained the issues and said that when it idles, the engine surges and drops, surges and drops and I showed his which arm on the carburetor was effecting the engine.. This was on a Saturday and they said they would have it to me by Weds. Over 2 weeks later I got the call it was done and the bill for over $400. They loaded the the mower on my trailer (full idle) and It sounded fine. I got it home and after 15 minutes of mowing, it was doing the same thing again and eventually died in a field where I had to take a truck and trailer into the field to pick it up. Pissed at A1 for fixing everything but the very issue I took it there to get fixed, I went to a place in Pilot Point and the guy said it was my carburetor was junked up. It took the guy in pilot point 10 minutes to take it apart, clean it, put new seals on it, adjust it all for $45. The thing NOW runs like a champ. I will never be going back to A1, and this time I will keep that promise to myself.

Id give half a star if possible. This place is a joke. Un-professional and disorganized. You dont have to do business here. There are much better places to take your small engines to. Phones are never answered and repairs not made by the dates given. Heck, they hadnt even pulled it into the shop by the date given for completion! How can you even run a business like that?

I took my stihl leaf blower to get it repaired and after waiting 2 weeks, they put an new carb and charged me $100. After getting it home and attempting to start it nothing woeked. So i took it back a second time and their excuse was you have to start it a certain way and it was flooded. So i took it home again and it wouldnt start again. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY EQUIPMENT BACK AGAIN! i lost $500 in lawn business due to not having my blower. BAD SERVICE!
