I stumbled upon this place and noticed they had such a unique variety of rings, pendants, bracelets, and all kinds of rocks and minerals that will bring out your inner geologists. Robby the jeweler showed me a piece he was working on, I had to have it. $10 down payment and the next day I picked it up paid the rest. Silver wolfs head ring. Cant wait to punch a vampire with this bad doggy.

Made an appointment to see Robby. This store has just about everything you could imagine in jewelry. Besides that, Robby had catalogs he could use and websites for us to peruse. I don’t think you could ask for better customer service. We will definitely return.

An excellent jeweler to go to for any jewelry-based project! His shop is filled with new and vintage jewelry, loose stones, natural specimens, miscellaneous antiques and much more. His skill as a craftsman allows him to create any piece from wax, which he can then have cast in any metal. His collection of stones, diamonds and pearls is very impressive, and his prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

They were very quick and inexpensive. I checked basically every other place in town and Renaissance was the best deal with the quickest service by far. I had just gotten engaged and was going out of town for a week and really wanted to have my ring re-sized before I left so I wouldnt be without it. They did that for me, which I was very very happy about. My only real complaint is that my ring has some imperfections in the band now. Its nothing that anyone else would ever see, but I notice it of course.

Ive had a really good experience with Renaissance Jewellers on Newberry Rd as I commissioned them to make a piece of fine jewelry based on a cheap little bracelet I found at Kohls. I now have a beautiful & meaningful (to me) necklace made of gold. Robbie patiently worked with me from the very start, ensuring that the finished product is exactly what I want. And it is. Im just thrilled.

My fiancé got my ring and wedding band re-sized at Renaissance. They were professional, fast, and did an excellent job. My rings were so well cleaned when they came back and looked stunning! I would absolutely recommend them to any one.

The guys made me feel welcome in there store, they charge fair prices for fittingwatches and take care of you right away. I highly recommend them for such work.

I have several complaints about this place. I tried to be fair with how I perceived the place, but 3 separate incidents have led me to give such a low rating.1) The owner is a douche bag. Why? He is horrible with customer service and condescending. He has a smug attitude in general. He rips you off because he goes under the assumption that you know nothing of jewelry.The first time I went, I brought in 5 charm pieces to be attached to a link I bought at the store. Even WITH providing my OWN charms, he charged an exorbitant amount and overcharged on labor (I paid almost $100 for a simple bracelet!). I only stuck through with the job because I really liked the chain and I was determined to have my charm bracelet.2) Within the span of that week, one of my charms that he soldered on came off. He knew he had just made the bracelet and rather than giving me a courtesy of fixing it up (it wasnt a hard job to reattach one charm) he charged me not $5, but $10 to reattach a charm. REALLY? $10 to reattach something that takes 5 min?! But, I paid for it because I decided to stick with the man that had handled this job.3) After some time, I decided to go back to the store to get a lobster claw clasp for an anklet that I have. He publicly bashed me about having someone on hold on the phone while asking him a quick question about my needs (whether the action of me having someone on hold on the phone is rude or not is irrelevant. How dare a business owner criticize a POTENTIAL customer about their habits. wow!) He wanted to charge me $15 for attaching lobster claw clasp and an extra $10 for the labor to solder it on. The labor is not at ALL even taxing for what I was asking for. Completely overpriced. I told him I could definitely get the job done for cheaper than $25 for an anklet!! With arrogance and attitude he handed it back to me and said, Well, ya know, were not the cheapest jewelers around. NO. YOURE NOT.Lesson learned.On top of the owners terrible attitude and customer service skills, just like his quotes for simple repairs, everything in the store is over priced (trust me, Ive taken a look around and I know jewelry)!P.S - I got the SAME job done at Calico Jewelers off of 34th st and Williston Rd for only $15 (this including the fact that they were going to polish my chain AND attach and solder it on).

I had a break in my necklace that was very special to me, and he said it was an easy fix and did it for free. Very kind man.
