I love the experiences I’ve had here at VB&B! Whenever I’m home from college, I love coming here to catch up on work or reading while enjoying the atmosphere and delicious coffee! Everything from their teas to sugary lattes to iced coffees are great and the service is impeccable! During this time of social distancing, they work hard to ensure everyone’s safety, and will even work with customers who can’t/won’t wear a mask. 10/10 would recommend!!

Start out by saying that this is quite the cute coffee shop, menu has a good selection. Customer service was definitely lacking, the guy taking care of my order wouldn’t answer my questions I had and brushed me off quickly to show a coworker a picture of a bat that was found in a family member’s house. Lactose intolerant and when he asked me what type of milk I wanted and I asked him what kind was available, he begins to ignore me and says ok whole milk. Went ahead and just took the darn drink since I was on break and didn’t have much time.

The staff and owner of Velocity Bike & Bean are always so kind and the coffee is Delicious! Such a warm & cozy space, my family & I just love its laid back relaxed environment. The owner and staff are so personable and always make us feel so welcomed and appreciated. Velocity Bike & Bean is absolutely wonderful and one of the best coffee houses in Northern Kentucky!!!

I am a regular customer here & will always be!!Velocity is one of the best all around coffee shops in Northern Kentucky!! AMAZING staff. The owner, Mark is great & extremely personable. Even when they are very busy, the baristas and Mark still make it a priority to wave and talk to their customers!! On top of all of that they (by far) have the best atmosphere of any coffee shop I’ve ever been to!!I recommend the iced caramel latte! However, I’m excited to start trying more of their unique specialty flavors!

This place has some great coffee! They switch up their menu every month, so theres always a lot of variety. Good tunes too. They run out of flavors a lot so you have to be mindful before going, or just have a backup ready. Itd be good to know when theyre out of a drink before making the trip. Still a solid place, though, and definitely one you should check out if you like coffee or youre looking for an alternative to Starbucks.

Great as always. Had a flat tire, which Mark fixed right away while I enjoyed a cappuccino and blueberry scone with my son.

Very cool cafe in the area. Im not a local but stop by when on road trips or in the area. Great coffee with fun options, nice staff, cool atmosphere, free wifi - and of course its a bike shop as well :) wish they carried vegan baked goods more regularly, every time I make it they are out!

Super cozy atmosphere with amazingly comfy seating. Weekend music is fabulous and the staff is always super friendly! The bikes are set up in the back portion of the store, with a seating and espresso bar in the middle, and a stage near the entry. I adore this shop! Super original!

My go-to place! Service is always excellent and you can really tell the baristas love their job and taking care of their customers. The atmosphere in the cafe is so welcoming. Easily the best and most genuine coffee shop in NKY!

I used to be a Starbucks person until I went to Bike and Bean. 🤣 Huge selection on their menu, especially love how they change things up with every season. Plenty of alternative dairy options as well as vegan pastry options. Im always changing up my latte choice, they are all so good. Definitely recommend this shop!

This place is so cozy, and the staff are very welcoming. The drinks are perfectly rich and the pastries are perfection. The back of the store is bikes, and I peruse those occasionally. Im a huge fan.

My favorite cup of coffee comes from velocity. The honey bee. It’s delicious. I’ve tried to order it when I’m away from Florence area and it’s never as good. Not even close.The shop is always clean and well kept. Staff friendly and attentive. And the sweets are yummy, from vegan to gluten free to traditional goodies.The owners know the regulars by name and truly make every customer feel valued. Whether they had a small coffee or bought a bike. I’ve been a customer since they opened. I’ve watched their many acts of love and generosity for this community from the October breast cancer bra fundraiser to more recently delivering cups to essential workers in the community. I’m proud to call Velocity my coffee house.A beautiful asset to the entire community.

Velocity is easily my favorite coffee in NKY! Betsy also makes incredible pastries and bakery items that are hard to pass up every time I go in! The staff have always treated me kindly, professionally, and give me great suggestions when trying something new! Their specialty monthly drink options are so unique and I love that I can change up my order to try something new. I have not been disappointed with any order I have received. The cutest little coffee shop and bike shop. Great place to hang out with friends or work on stuff. They sometimes have live music, which is always a good time and always quality performers. The staff is super nice and friendly; they really go above and beyond, especially when to come to fostering a good sense of community. And of course, the coffee and other drinks are amazing! They have really interesting creative drinks that are absolutely delicious.

The staff at Velocity are always fantastic. Its a nice shop with great coffee. I took my wife to check out some used bikes and the owner spent about 20 minutes to adjust out a bike to just get an idea of what she might like. Zero pressure. The coffee is always great too! I absolutely love Velocity! They have the most delicious drinks and I am always wowed by their gluten free treats. They have also been INCREDIBLY helpful with my families bikes, and are super kind. It’s a bit of a Saturday ritual for my husband and I to stop by and we will continue to do so for a long time to come.

This quaint shop is an NKY staple, and always has been for me and my friends since high school! It is our favorite place to catch up and play cards, not only for the amazing coffee, but the inviting atmosphere. The owners are incredible people and genuinely care about everyone who walks in the door. It is a safe place for all who enter. The recent remodel is astounding, and yet keeps that cozy vibe that they are famous for. Velocity is my favourite coffee shop. I live 20-30 minutes away but the drive is worth it because the drinks are always delicious and the staff is friendly. I love how knowledgeable they are too. When I’ve asked for suggestions based on other things I’ve liked, they have been quick to make a new suggestion which has always been tasty as well.I have greatly appreciated the staff’s commitment to the safety of its customers through their own wearing of masks and requiring customers to wear masks too. There’s no bullying or shaming, just encouragement! They are a shining example of what a business should be and I’m so pleased we have them in Northern Kentucky.Also, just wanted to add that the ‘dirty hippie’ and the lavender mocha are incredible, but don’t miss out on their innovative drink specials! Mint julep cold brew! HELLO!!!!

Velocity is one of the best bike shops in all of Cincinnati. Mark sold me my first bike way back in 2013. Ive since picked up a few more bikes, and started doing what I can to fix them myself. Mark has been one of the best resources through this, any question I have he is happy to help, and when I bite off more than I can chew hes there to help me out. I wish more bike shops were as down to earth as Mark and his family at velocity. Wish I lived closer to enjoy the delicious coffee more frequently than when I just drop and pick up my bike.

We love Velocity! Some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Mark has been incredibly helpful in working on my husband’s police and mountain bikes. He is a wealth of knowledge and always willing to share what he knows. We are grateful to have them in our community.

What can I say about my favorite coffee shop? The atmosphere of this shop is what draws me. This is my 1st choice to visit when I want to relax and enjoy some time with a friend or have a business meeting. Mark is a stand up guy who will go out of his way to accommodate any customer, and his baristas are friendly and helpful. I hosted a piano recital at Velocity, and all of the parents loved it. Highly recommend!

Velocity Bike and Bean is one of the coolest coffee shops in the state! And I don’t like coffee so that is saying a lot. The atmosphere and the employees are so inviting it’s hard to believe you are in a strip mall off the highway. It’s conveniently located making it easy to grab a morning drink in the way to work and the employees will get your day started out great, with their friendly attitude. I can’t recommend this place enough!!

Great atmosphere. Welcoming warm and friendly. The drinks are awesome and Mark has been working on my bikes for years. Great with advice, sharing his technical expertise and making sure everything is right. From retro bikes to high end “Tour level” road bikes they do it all and do it well!!

We love coming here. The coffee, service, and bike shop are fantastic and I’m grateful to have such a great shop that’s here in northern Kentucky. They’re Nutella mocha is AWESOME! The service is great and they always go the second mile. Velocity and all of its employees are very professional and very enthusiastic about the work they do. I had a very weird situation occur with this business at first, but it turned out to be a huge misunderstanding. After some discussion with a very reasonable management team, we were able to resolve the confusion, and I brought my bike in for services. Let me tell you, Im glad I did. They were able to set me right up and get the repairs done on the spot. While I waited, I enjoyed a delicious, natural Ethiopian coffee, and my sons were able to partake with hot cocoas all around. Great visit, great prices, and great service. I definitely recommend this establishment.

I have been here a couple times now and their coffee is AMAZING. But more than that, the customer service is above and beyond. I was running late to meet a friend there to grab coffee before plant shopping, so my friend ordered our coffees for us then realized she didnt have her card! Even though I got there ten minutes after closing they held our drinks for us and let me in to pay when I finally got there. Everyone has always been so friendly, the atmosphere is great, I love this place! Plus they hooked up my friend with free coffee and muffins and delivered it to his work on his birthday! 15/10 would recommend ❤️

The staff is even better than the coffee! Our family has been enjoying Velocity for the better part of 8 years. We love Mark, his family, and staff. We’ve had nothing but wonderful service from them. Mark has even serviced our bikes a couple of times. They also have a great selection of local coffee to purchase.

I’ve been a regular customer here for 8 years, and every cup of coffee (mostly Seabirds) has been top notch. I’ve watched music there, and I’ve played music there, and the memories are priceless. Every time I’m in NKY I want to visit Velocity. Their coffee is very rich, all the employees are kind, and the atmosphere is homey. I’ve been a few times when they had a live band and the music was great! The family that owns the business is nice and welcoming. It’s a wonderful place to study, work remotely, have a date, or catch up with a friend!

This place makes amazing coffee and their menu is always changing with lots of creative drink options. I’m never disappointed. Their treats are delicious and the decor is eclectic; can’t ask for much more from a small local coffee shop. Lots of dairy alternative drinks for folks who can’t drink dairy.

My only complaint is that it isnt closer to my house. If I could go every day, I would. The atmosphere feels like home, full of welcoming, gentle, positive energy. And the coffee is beyond compare. Thank you to the entire Velocity team for being awesome.

Since relocating back to the Midwest I wanted to find local coffee shops in the NKY/Cincinnati area. I was extremely pleased to find Velocity which marries two passions I love (coffee and cycling). I frequent this amazing shop and I’m consistently pleased with the amazing coffee along with friendly service. I feel very welcome and appreciated every time I stop in. They are engaging on social media and will show support back to the community. The creativity of flavors and products continues to exceed expectations!

This is hands-down my favorite local coffee shop. The service I receive at every visit is so friendly and personable from all of the staff. The drinks themselves are so unique and delicious, you can’t get them anywhere else. Mark and Lisa have done a phenomenal job with this shop, and it only gets better with time.

There are fantastic drink options from local roasters, a small but delicious selection of baked goods, and the staff is friendly.There is plenty of seating and live music pops up from time to time on the weekends. In the back there is a space for having your bike serviced or buying a used bike from their inventory. Its just a unique and lovely place to spend some time sipping a good beverage.

My daughter & I absolutely LOVE this place!!! I can’t say enough good things about it. The decor is fabulous. It’s very quaint and inviting. The coffee/drinks/treats are top notch in taste! This is my 19 year old daughter’s favorite coffee spot hands down. When she was heart broken recently she asked to go here because she said she knew it would cheer her up. She attends college away from home and when she’s back on breaks, this is a place where we like to go for mom & daughter time. She’s looked around her college town for a place with great coffee & a similar feel but says nothing compares to Velocity Bike & Bean.

My daughter spent many a day working on her college and scholarship applications at Velocity. Mark, the owner, would always ask her how the college process was going when we went in. Awesome place. Stopped on to fix a flat tire on my bike. Mark was willing to fix it while I waited because I was leaving tomorrow morning. Had a delicious iced chemex while I waited and just couldn’t be more pleased with the service and everything. Highly recommend. The bike service and the coffee are both beyond amazing.

This is a great little coffee shop. I go to meet up with my friends here. They not only have coffee, but lots of yummy treats you can buy. They have set up little areas outside on the side of the building so you can social distance, or you can grab a seat inside. You wont regret checking this little place out.

I now live in California but I lived in the KY/OH from 2013-2017. This place always felt like a second home from the moment I stepped foot in it and their drinks and pastries are always so delicious! I still think about the almond butter bars made with nuts and dried fruit. I have traveled to a lot of places and Velocity will always hold a special place in my heart. Mark was even responsive and helpful from across the country helping me via email when I started cycling and had questions about where to start. I also brought my sister in when she moved out there. We are both latinas and Mark and his family never once made us feel different or unwelcome which is something I came across from time to time in my years living in that area.
