We are repeat customers. This visit was to purchase a new living room set. We always receive great customer service from the staff at the Clinton location. Even with the furniture shortages they did everything to get us the best deal and have it delivered next week. Thank you from someone that appreciates your hard work.

It has taken me 2 years of shopping to find the set. The staff here has always been wonderfully kind knowing that I would only be buying what I fell in love with. Today they had the set that was the perfect size, color, material and had the features I wanted IN STOCK and ready to carry out the door as soon as I paid for it. The price was also where I wanted to be. Ethan my salesman, Dakota the loading dock manager and the lady sales manager (sorry I cant think of her name) were all Stellar to work with, and Im a pain in the a**. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for making sure I got what I wanted.

We bought a sectional outright. The one that came was a different color, that didnt bother me at all because we actually prefer the darker color but I definitely see where it could someone else. They came late, called and said they would be late and then showed up even later. All in all, it was strong 3 hours late. We also said we got front door delivery BUT they were in a rush as they said, and made my husband feel bad so he said they could just leave it at the garage. They just didnt want to walk up our stairs which I get but still, its in the writing so thats pretty messed up. They were lucky we are nice. Buying it went smoothly though. They left us alone and just let us look. Our couch was labeled wrong as far as the price so we did need to get their attention and wait for that but other then that.... We like the couch at least.

I love the customer service!The easy text to them helps out a ton as well. I was able to find a bed frame for my boys in a matter of minutes. I said exactly what I was looking for and was pointed in the right direction. Definitely recommend slumber land in Clinton, IA

I had sent an inquiry about a couch I saw online. I received two responses right away. I had two questions, and in order to answer my questions, both were forwarded to the manufacturer, for accuracy. I ended up ordering the couch from from April. She explained exactly how it would be handled, and I was very satisfied and pleased. I can’t wait to see my new couch!Thank you

I just loved working with our furniture consultants, April and Betty, at the Clinton, IA Slumberland. Can’t wait to go back for the that new dining room set.

On February 27th, my wife and I were eager to purchase a particular sectional from this store. Upon arrival, we learned that they do not have that model on the floor, or available in the warehouse. We browsed around and found another sectional, double the price we wanted to spend, but purchased it nonetheless. One reason we purchased this item was due to the faster delivery dates of this particular sectional (a little over a month) Covid-19 was the reason given. Skylar was the sales representative that assisted with our purchase. Fast forward 30 days... We called to check on the possible date of the delivery and spoke with Skylar. He informed us that it would be pushed back towards the end of April. While it was frustrating, we understood and reluctantly accepted the extension. 30 days later, WE WANT OUR COUCH!!!! Again spoke with Skylar and he gave me a date of 5/16/2021. We both agreed that it was a Sunday so he set up delivery for Monday the 17th and a phone call to precede delivery. As of noon we hadnt heard from the store so my wife called. The guy working today, not Skyler, rudely informed her that they dont do deliveries on Mondays and that he didnt even have an order for our purchase. I guess he finally decided to do his job and actually look at his computer because he finally found the order but still insisted we werent informed about delivery on Monday. He stated that the sectional was still over a month away. I called and spoke to the same guy and he was just as much an asshat as my wife explained. I told him we will be in to get a refund. The older lady assisted us with the refund, while this guy just sat on his chair, intently avoiding eye contact with us. No one tried to fix the situation. No one apologized. No one freaking cared because the bonus for the individual sales rep, and the store goal was met with our purchase. I did not see nametags on anyone and the placard this guy wore was backwards.We have been told to not go to slumberand for anything because customer service and delivery was ridiculous. Well we learned and will be saying the same thing to all those interested in new furniture. Should have stuck with Peterson-Haage. I dont even want to give this review one star...

The two ladies were super helpful and very knowledgeable. They were so sweet. They were so patient! They have very good prices. Definitely going there again!!

Was told a manager would call me after my chair was ordered to give a delivery date. Never received a call. I called them and they told me they had informed me it would take months for this chair to come in when I ordered it. Nothing professional about these employees. Still waiting to hear from them as to when my chair will be in. Will never order from them again and will not recommend slumberland to my family or friends

It is frustrating when an item is listed in an ad as a door buster special to have to wait for delivery up to 8 weeks; however, that is not the local store’s fault. Great service and kind customer service staff.

They lady who took my payment was rude. They told me that they would call me back and never did. Bad experience wont get furniture from them again.

This store is wonderful and so helpful. We bought a bed years ago and even though it was no fault of theirs, our box springs were ruined and they were replaced by their wonderful manager. I wish I had written down her name. My husband is a disabled veteran and this is a great help to our family as we are going through a rough patch. Thanks again to all of you there at Slumberland!!!

Cody Smith asked if I needed help I was looking for a recliner, he let me try out the chairs and the buying process was quick and he was helpful loading it into our truck.

Do not buy from here. I saved up and got a couch from here that was told the cushions wouldn’t go flat. I even got insurance and was told if they did I could get it fixed. Turns out that’s not true and the couch is so uncomfortable, the metal bars are sticking out and the insurance won’t fix it. Do not trust these people

Nate, the manager listened to what we were looking for and what our budget was and led us to exactly what we wanted. He found a ton of discounts to help us cover the warranty while keeping to our budget. He threw in some home accent pieces I admired for free! Even free delivery and set up because my husband is a veteran. Big yay on the whole experience!

Zach was the best kind of sales person! Explained the floor layout so i knew where to look for the item i was shopping for. Also explained about sale pricing, order process etc. Then allowed me to shop witout hovering or making me feel rushed. He made me want to buy from him not just look & leave. Excited to receive my choice very soon.

Cody assisted me through it all. My disabled customer needed a new bed and Cody went around the store and helped me measure heights of beds and mattress. He was patient while i took pictures since my customer could not come. We ended up getting not only the bed frame but mattress and a mattress cover too! April, the assistant manager was super helpful with no sales pressure, listened to what I said I needed, and answered all of my questions. We bought a beautiful kitchen table and chair set and I was very happy with the whole experience.

The service was excellent, only thing i can complain about is that we need to wait a few weeks for delivery but we do live in a small little town outside of clinton, so its understandable. We will be going back to slumberland in the future for our other furniture.

Very disappointed with how long it yook to get our order delivered, just over 2 weeks when we were told it would take a week. Also, I gave my husbands number as a contact because I cannot answer my phone at work. All contact came to my phone so couldnt be addressed quickly. Thirdly, the day I was called to confirm delivery for the next day, he confirmed our old address that we moved from 5 years ago. The current address should have been confirmed at the time of the order sense it was goung to be a delivery. I do want to give a shout out to the 2 delivery guys! Very professional, well mannered young men. We have been Slumberland customers for many years and this was our worst experience. I would have left 5 star for our experience with April, the assistant manager. 0 stars for Nate, apparently the store manager. He has done nothing but give us the run around after purchasing a sectional. I had made 10-15 phone calls to complain that our sectional was pilling. He had some one come out to look at it who agreed that the fabric was wearing down much quicker than normal. It looked like the couch was 20 years old. Then he was going to order new cushions. That was around October 2018. Around May 2019 they apparantly still werent in(Im sure they were never ordered). We purchased it in July 2018. After leaving messages, because he was always busy, I got fed up and was prepared to go to small claims court. I made 1 last phone to come to a compromise or inform them I would see them in court and was fully prepared to blast negative reviews and my win at small claims because I was that confident. I was also going to report them to the BBB. However, when I spoke with April she couldnt have been more helpful and we came to what I found to be a reasonable compromise. When we went the store to pick out new furniture she was extremely knowledgeable and explained the difference in the quality of the furniture which was extremely helpful in making a choice in furniture. If you ask me...April should be the manager. She absolutely seemed much more knowledgeable and was definitely more helpful

Wow ....I knew there had to be some relation there to the management... that Metchelle wrote a review on her boyfriend? Really? ...I found the manager Aaron there not very helpful..he was not dressed like the other sales people.. very inapproriate I thought maybe he was a delivery driver ...he was in jeans and a T-shirt. ..the other gentleman salesperson named Kevin was very knowledgeable on his mattresses and bedroom furniture..He also seem to be enjoying his job...i spent alot of time with him and he was very patient ...I will visit again but only if Kevin or the other girl named April is there ... Buyer beware of the manager in Clintons store..

They screwed up the delivery date and just told us itd be getting delivered a week later than we were originally told. The manager was very rude and unwilling to do anything to right their wrong as well as being very unapologetic. Overall a VERY bad experience. Would never go there again.

Beware buy from Slumber land and get ripped off. We bought a expensive recliner and a year and 3 mos later the chair broke. They will not honor the extended warranty they said it covered everything on the recliner. NOT!!!! What a expensive lesson we will never make again
