Excellent service and fair prices. Be somewhat knowledgeable of what you have to sale or what it is your buying and these guys will treat ya good. I drove longer to visit this particular store based on the amount of positive reviews. I decided to do business with them after talking to a couple of the people working. I believe Seth was the gentleman who I worked with. Friendly and polite yet to the point without being pushy. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve used Gold & Pawn for many different reasons. The interest is a bit high but they are always friendly and knowledgeable. If you are in a Bind and need a loan there are worse places you can go. Also if you keep your redemptions and redeem them every time it gets easier to get the Price you’re asking for

No wants to be in a situation where they have to pawn personal items to get by. But the personnel at the shop never are condescending and are as helpful as they can be. And once you establish that you do pick up your items and are a stable person to loan to, they sometimes are able to offer more on your items. I am glad to have them there, if I do get in a pinch and need fast funds.

The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable, quick, and easy to work with. Best pawn shop we’ve ever used and will definitely be back. It’s worth the drive!

Used to think they were the best pawn shop around until this whole epidemic thing, then they became the only pawn shop open. I dont know what happened, I was told a price over the phone and once I drove 45 min to the store they went from 120$ to 25$. Just be careful not to get low balled. And whatever price they give you on the phone is not going to be the price once you get to the store

We have always been treated with respect and have been given good deals. They will also work with you when you have a pawn ticket due and dont have the money on the due date. Gold n pawn in ellettsville is the best pawn shop in Monroe county. I want to clear up the post made by Laura Robertson. Her review is false because I was present during the incident she is talking about. The pawn broker behind the counter never cursed the older gentleman in any manner. He told the gentleman that if he is sick and going to vomit to please step back outside and he would come out to look at his TV he wanted to pawn. I will not go to any other pawn shop but gold n pawn. They are more than fair and do whatever they can to help someone out. Its false reviews like one Laura Robertson posted that gives bad business. Stop in and see the fellas in there and see for yourself. Great customer service and an excellent experience.

Best pawn store in Monroe county and quite possibly the state. To have somebody hold a model 12 (went in at 300, think it was 488.xx out) over the 90 day period by almost a month instead of shelving it and selling it for 700+ dollars Went Miles above the average pawnbroker. Told the owner it was a family heirloom and I really didnt plan on letting it sit for more than 30 days. Then life took a whirlwind and I was stuck in Michigan for over 118 days. Obviously dane and Seth care about customers otherwise they wouldnt have made that move. They are the type of guys who will counter you a price that is still way over value what you got on the desk because theyre smart professional businessman that and make all the right moves. Martinsville store is absolutely stellar as well great friendly people.

This place is the best place to buy laptops. They are cheaper than the pawnshops in bloomington by over $100 in comparison to others stores. Im very satisfied with their service definitely will buy all my electronics from there from now on. They even offer cell phones which alot of pawnshops dont sell. Also I bought a tablet for my family which was also cheaper then the other shops.
