We where going to be out of town and was not going to be there so Teresa said you guys don’t worry when you come back this pool will be ready for you to jump in and have a blast .. Teresa kept us in the loop on when and how the progress was going and sent pictures as well !!! She is such an amazing person for doing this for our family. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions we had. We love Cryer pools for going out of there way to make it a smooth build!!!

We now officially own a Cryer Pool, a 15×30 Quantum. Teresa with Cryer Pools is the bomb. She was wonderful in during the whole purchase and installation of the pool. Cryer Pools were amazing. With COVID we thought our pool would be delayed for 60 days. But, we were lucky due to the size of the pool. We completely understood the backorder situation. But, glad we did not have to wait. Our pool has been completed for 1 week. The team they have is wonderful. They work hard and know what they are doing. It was quick from the first dig to back fill. We have learned a lot about pools and terminology for this industry. We are pool virgins and Teresa was amazing all on her own. She knows her stuff... We are very happy with our pool. I have seen a few negative reviews about follow up service/repairs after pool installation. I do not feel this will be the case with Teresa. I hope she never leaves the company.... :-) Will provide an update in a month or so.... that will include the final stage of the deck being custom built. Stay Safe and thank you so much Teresa.

Teresa is so AWESOME!!! I told her that, I was not sure if she treated all the customers the way she treats my family but, I could not ask for better customer service! You can honestly tell that she cares for her customers, loves her job and the Cryer pools brand as a business. I’ve been using Cryer Pools for about 5 years for service and cleaning. Brandon is here cleaning my pool each week without fail. He is very customer service oriented and very polite. He always gets the pool perfectly clean and answers all of my questions. We have been customers of cryers for about a year now. First, I can tell you from experience and shopping around that their pool prices and installation were much cheaper than another local competitor. Second, the staff there is very friendly and treats you like family. They do what they can to diagnose your water problems. Third, the pool cleaners are just as exceptional as the business. We loved when we had service with them. And lastly, they have honored any and all quotes and deals that were discussed. I would and have recommended them to friends and family. Go check them out!

Our pool buying experience couldnt have gone any better. We went in thinking that we knew what we wanted (an oval pool) but was met with the pros and cons to what we wanted vs what was recommended (round). After all was said and done, we feel that we couldnt have made a better choice. Living in Liberty, we were going to be paying more for a typical chlorinated pool because of the contents of our water. We were recommended to offset the costs of chlorine by upgrading with the saltwater option. Let me just tell you, we couldnt be any more pleased with that decision! The purchase went smoothly and the installers were quick, informative and answered all questions we had as we were watching their every move of the install. We have no reservations on recommending Cryer Pools, as we had a dear friend purchase his pool the next day after our install. I brought my pool cleaner in for repairs and after 3 days they said it would cost over $400 to repair and with no guarantee it would fix the problem. I said to them over phone that I would be better off buying a new one. Went to pick old one up and they where very rude that I did not get this one fixed. They gave me it back in pieces so with that I went else where to buy a new one. There lost. Never will go to them for anything.

We purchased a pool from Cryer and were very excited! Everything was great they were very friendly and helpful but when the COVID pandemic hit there was a shut down at the manufacture. We were told it was temporary and that our install date would have to be pushed back 2 weeks. Understanding the situation we just dealt with it and we were again excited when the date came up, but to our surprise the pool still wasn’t shipped from the manufacturer. Once we started to inquire about what was going on Teresa our sales person started to avoid us and would not respond to emails even though we requested all contact from them on be through email. When we did get a response via phone, she admitted that she had no idea when the pool would show up and the dates she gave us were made up with no real likely hood of the pool showing up let alone being installed. Finally today we tried to call the owner and she wasn’t available, when they asked our names they seriously hung up on us and now won’t answer calls or emails. I’m very disappointed that this is how they conduct business and treat people that have paid them thousands of dollars for something they are still waiting to receive. This has been a horrible experience and we are now having to get legal assistance to for a refund.

We purchased our new pool in April 2018 and had it installed 2 weeks later. Everything went according to plan. Teresa did a great job explaining the process and helping us build a package for our 30 ft. diameter pool. Mr. Rodriguez installed in a days time with no issues. I visit weekly to have the water checked and they are always spot on in advising us of what we need to maintain our pool water. Overall this has been a great experience and I would do it all over again if I had to.

Ive had Cryer servicing my pool weekly via service contract for 2 years. For weekly cleaning/ chemicals, no real issues. I also have them perform service - thats where the rub is.Biggest issue is communication. Common for service to be scheduled, technician doesnt show up. I call the next morning, told they called in sick, had a conflict, whatever - but theres no proactive effort to tell me this in advance; Im left to figure it out on my own.When service visit does happen, there is no communication about what the issue is. Their process is technician visits, goes back to shop, writes it up, then the office folks sort it out the next day and are supposed to call - sometimes they do, but most of the time they dont. So I call them first thing the next day to find out what the issue and fix will be. They leave a note when they do weekly cleaning/ chemicals - should be able to leave a note when they come for a service call. This isnt hard.Most recent issue - came for weekly service Tuesday 9/8. That evening turned on the hot tub, found water spraying out the top of the filter pot. Pressure gauge was broken off. No note on the weekly cleaning ticket. I figured it happened during their visit that day so the next morning I called them, told them what happened and suspected it was during the visit. Later that day they came clean and said it happened during the weekly cleaning visit, and that its a wear item so Id have to pay to replace it. They also stated the technicians wrote it up for the office - but nobody called me! If I hadnt noticed it, the pool would have turned on in the morning and sprayed water out the top of the filter all day while nobody was home. They didnt put it in service mode to prevent it from turning on. When I talked to Emily about it, honestly, she was defensive until I explained that I didnt think she was hearing me about asking for some simple communication. They leave a note about how much chemical they put in - shouldnt be that hard to leave a note about the pressure gauge.So the solution was this - I was able to back the nipple out of the filter housing myself (was like a key broken off in a lock), and went to Leslies, bought a replacement and screwed it in. Cost me $68.Cryer wanted $95 after waiving their $160 service fee, and a not very understanding phone conversation. Bethany is nice, Steven is a great technician, but I have to be honest - the service department leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to personal interactions and communication. Their process is their process, they dont listen and arent the most pleasant to work with.I have no desire to maintain my pool - I just want to enjoy it, and have a good experience with the person or company that maintains it - its simple - keep it running. Its a good experience until I have to endure a service issue. Its exhausting. I pay somewhere around $3,000 per year for the regularly scheduled, weekly cleaning/ chemical visits. Asking around the hood for who my neighbors use, because the message Im getting is Cryer doesnt value their customers.

We are officially Cryer Pool owners of a 15×30 Quantum 54. Teresa is wonderful in helping to answer questions after set up. Mr. Rodriquez and his crew took 1 1/2 days to build everything went great, we were prior pool owners, which meant putting the new where the old one stood. We were pushed back two different dates due to the rain we had mid June but we understand they can not control the weather. Third time was the charm. Thank you for all your friendly service.

We bought our pool during the COVID madness and everyone was buying pools. Poor Cryer pools were so backed up and busy but they really was trying their best to get er done as quickly as possible. Teresa was just fun, kind and caring. She was a joy to work with. Luis who installed our pool really knows what he’s doing. As I watched him with his guys he has such patience with them. He had two new guys with him. I wished I had put sand down before they laid the pool. I recommend doing that. We have had the pool for a month now and everything seems to be running smoothly. Another thing. We choose cryer over some of the other pool places in town because if anything goes wrong they are right here and have most of the equipment on hand at their store vs having to order from a warehouse. We feel like they could help out in a pinch vs other places. Plus it’s a Baytown family business.

We bought our 33’ round from Cryer Pools 5 years ago. We love it. We would go to Leslie’s to get chemicals and water tested only because they are closer to home. When we would have issues Leslie’s had a hard time fixing the problem. One time they had us drain over half of the pool because they couldn’t get it right. Well we have gone back to Cryer for our chemicals and water testing. This week we had algae bad. Went to Cryer for answers on Thursday since we have a pool party today Saturday for our granddaughter. Cryer walked us through step by step even writing the steps down for us in terms we could understand and the pool is ready for the party today. Love Cryer Pools and will not use anyone else again.

Purchased a pool Friday and I’m super excited for installation to take place. I’m a very indecisive and research fanatic type of shopper and had visited and gotten quotes from several pool stores. I also have to get the “warm fuzzies” from my sales associate to seal the deal and Teresa nailed that. I still had no idea what I wanted and Teresa helped me with all of my questions and concerns. I decided to go with the 18’ round 52” Dynasty with the salt water system and Cryer Pools gave me the best deal compared to other quotes. They are definitely worth visiting if you’re considering a pool or spa.

First let me say, the staff and customer service here gets 5 stars by itself. I was sold a broken/stolen unit from an individual and Cryer took the cleaner apart for free to give me an estimate. After finding out the unit wouldve cost almost $700 to repair, they truly felt bad for what I had gone through and offered me a new cleaner for less than the cost of the repair. Just so I would have something with a warranty and something that was new and dependable. I am officially using Cryer as my go to pool store and am leaving Leslies for good. Their products are reasonably priced and they only sell you what you need. Thank you again for everything.

After having a terrible experience with a local pool company that installed our inground Radiant Pools, we contacted Cryer Pools and spoke to Theresa. She was extremely helpful and told us exactly what we needed to do to correct our problems with our pool. This company is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Their Service Department is the worst! I called them for a warranty repair and after 2 weeks and 2 no-shows, they finally showed up and all they did was take pictures of my equipment, which I had already emailed them at their request after my initial call. 3 weeks later, I called to check on the order status for the repair parts since I had not heard from them, and they could not find my work order anywhere and had no idea who I was or why I was calling. I ended up giving up and buying new equipment elsewhere. Save yourself some time and frustration and take your business elsewhere.

The ladies in retail and chemicals are awesome. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. They create a friendly environment and make pool and spa care a breeze. I look forward to my visits in the store. Highly recommend them for all your pool and spa needs.

We, recently, purchased a 24 ft. Monterey pool package from Creyer. We took the advice of our extremely helpful salesperson, Teresa who had given us the name of contractors to level and install the pool and electric. We are very happy with everything. Not quite finished with landscaping and deck, but quite satisfied with purchase. Teresa made sure we understood the workings of the new pool.

I called Cryer Pools on Monday to request service on our pool pump that quit working. I was scheduled for Friday, but was told if they had a cancellation, they would call me. Received a call Tuesday afternoon that they had had a cancellation and could come Wednesday. (Cryer DID what they said they would do.)Steven and JC arrived late Wednesday morning, replaced the pump and were gone within the hour. They also cleaned the main filter in order for the pump and cleaning system to operate properly. In other words, they didn’t just come out and replace the pump – they checked all of the equipment, which we are grateful for. These two technicians are super. They answered all of my questions in layman language. They cleaned up the area where they had been working and left the area in pristine condition. Cryer Pools is certainly easy to do business with and their technicians are awesome. Real Customer Service!!!!

After a couple of weeks trying to get an appointment to fix my pump (left messages no call back), we were able to reach the person to set up an appointment. On the day of appointment they never showed up, we called and it was a recording they were doing inventory. I called the next day and could reach them, finally after several calls I reached someone by selecting a different department. After being put on hold I was told that she was not at her desk and would call me back. I just told her to cancel. I called Leslies pool and had it done. I dont know what is going on with Cryers, but its hard to reach someone and then they never call back or call to say they are not coming.

Bought a house in October with a pool than needed some work done to be operational. Having no pool knowledge myself outside of you swim in them, I called cryer pools to see if they could help me with the issues. Stephanie and Steven have been extremely helpful with walking me through everything that needs to be done to keep the pool in working order. They are extremely reliable when it comes to which day they say they will have the problem fixed and at what cost they quoted you. Super friendly on the phone, and can diagnose most problems and break down how to fix them in a language I can understand. Super happy to be working with them for now and in the future.

My wife has called 3 times over the past few months to inquire about a pool quote. Each time her information is notated and is old that a woman by the name of Teresa is going to call back. Shes yet to receive a call. This week was the last time well be making an effort. Weve already received multiple quotes and will forgo attempting to work with Cryer. Its seem that the lack of communication is probably a sign that we should stay away in the first place. They obviously must be very busy with lots of new business, our experience is probably a sneak peak of what to expect from their customer service, non-existent.

Teresa Snider is great with customers. She is very informative, and very patient. She makes sure that we can contact her any time we have a problem. She makes Cryer Pools the great place that it is.

We looked at a number of above ground pool places before settling on Cryer Pools. One of the things I liked and appreciated was the up-front - this is what the pools cost - pricing. I inquired via their website and was sent a brochure with all the pools and their prices.Plus, what also swayed me toward Cryer, before I had even been in the store and met with anyone, was the fact that they put a Main Drain in their above ground pools - none of the other places said anything about that. A Main Drain is a Big Deal in keeping your pool clean and running properly.Then, we ordered a pool with the help of Teresa who was phenomenal in her level of knowledge and customer service. She helped these pool novices like no one else would have and instilled confidence in our ability to take on a large project !I have recommended Cryer Pools to others - as not only do they have a large array of above ground pools and supplies, they also have Radiant Pools which are the ones you can bury in the ground at a fraction of the cost of the usual plaster pools.

Never again will I do business with Cryer pools in Baytown. They came out to my vacant property last week the first day they were there they were authorized to do everything that they did... replace all my orings make sure my pump was running properly and so on. The tech told me that the next day he was going to come out and backwash my pool just because he wanted to check on it and even if his supervisor didnt want him to he would come out and do that because we were so close to the shop. Well the next day he did come out and backwash my pool and charged me $200 because he also put chemicals in my pool that he was not authorized to put in. I had the chemicals to put in the pool. Well in the process of him coming back to backwash and put in unauthorized chemicals he also broke a lid near my pump. Heath called Cryer today to tell them he needs to come and fix it and they refuse to pay for it.. so I go into the store to talk to someone about this in person and to pick up the part that their Tech broke and I am told the most they can do is give me 20% off so I called Leslies Pools right there at the counter to make sure they have the part and then told the woman Ill go buy it from them at full price because 20% is ridiculous when he broke the part! I will not give yall another dime of my money! The best part is when I get to Leslies to pick up the part its cheaper at Leslies even with the 20% discount from Cryer!! Cryer you have lost a long-term customer over an $80 part that your Tech broke!

Very disappointed. I called multiple times to confirm our scheduled appointment and they never showed up. You would think if I called more than once they would go above and beyond to make sure that the pool cleaner would actually show up or get me an ETA.

How do I begin?? Well, let me start from my initial experience with Cryer Pools. I walked into the store just to look at a replacement pool for one I had for over 10 years and had been without for close to 5. I was approached by Teresa Snider who was very informative about what was available. Not a typical pushy salesperson at all. After showing me the displays they have on site, we went inside and she worked up an estimate of the pool price with installation......needless to say, my trip to simply look quickly turned into a purchase. I went home and re-evaluated my decision and the next day I was back at Cryer with a check in hand!! Delivery and installation was set up and besides the weather being a factor, once the installation process began it couldnt have gone any better!!! The individual Cryer uses as their installer is incredible!! He and his crew are very professional and know what they are doing. They arrive early and work a full day to complete the job. They started on my pool install on a Monday and had the pool filling with water by 4:15 on Tuesday afternoon. My pool is a BIG one (18x33 oval) so I expected installation to take MUCH longer!!Teresa was very quick to respond to any questions and/or concerns I have had. I look forward to keeping my relationship with Cryer Pools!! I live in Pasadena with a Leslies Pool Supply 2 blocks from my house and past experience with them and the current experience with Cryers, I would rather make the drive! Looking forward to a continued relationship with Cryers and I highly recommend them for anyone considering an above ground pool purchase!

Let me start off with a little preface. Over the summer, my family and I recently moved back into my childhood home. One of the best commodities that comes with this house is the large pool it has. However, after no less than 1 month, we had some significant and costly pool maitenance issues and called Cryer Pools & Spas to come fix said issues. Not only did I have to call them at least 20 times over a period of three days, but not one of those calls was answered, acknowledged, or returned. Once I finally got a hold of someone, they did manage to come out and fix these issues yet consequently uprooting a much deeper issue. For example, our pool lights were out and because of the poor quality of installation done by a Cryer employee, now no more than 2 months later our pool light has gone out again this time due to a leak missed/caused by the installer. Mind you the initial cost for the original maitenance was already several hundred dollars because they had to come back and fix their mistakes TWICE! Flash forward to today, I noticed our pool felt like bathwater, something quite alarming since we turned on the spa heater roughly 2 days ago. The heater was maunally turned off but the pool is still hot and continuing to heat. This is extremely expensive!! I have called Cryer Pools 14 times in the span from 12:30-14:30. Thats two hours of consistent calling because of this urgent issue and yet no one has returned my calls. I have emailed, called several different Cryer Pools numbers and have received no service whatsoever. My best advice is to look elsewhere for a pool company if customer service is important to you because you certainly will not find it at Liar Fools. Below is a screenshot of my call log this afternoon in which you can see all calls are outgoing to a Cryer Pools number (I apologize that theyre unlisted) and none of them have been returned.

They sell above ground pools that you can have installed in ground. Thats about it at this place. I think they may do hot tubs as well, but if youre looking for a place that can quote you many options, than youll need to go someplace else.

Customer service has been horrible. Poor communication on their end and not getting everything right for our new pool after we agreed to extras per their recommendations. Tried to hurry and close the sale before hurricane Harvey Im sure for their commission purpose. Workers showed up late took tons of breaks, left cigarettes all in our yard, pool liner was not straightened out and sags in spots. Had to email over the weekend about items we paid for they forgot to send. Had to figure out how to out how to hook electrical by ourselves as they did not do it. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. We will use others for our chemicals and cleaning if need be. Should have gone with friends recommendation of recreation planet

Never again will I do business with this establishment. Poor communication on their end. Technician came 3 times just to fix my spa.. they dont seem to be able to put everything together to fix hot tub once and for all. Very disappointed!

We went in 2016 looking to replace our pool. We sat on the idea until March 2017. When time rolled around to get one, we knew we would be using Cryer. We had talked to several other companies but Cryer was the best option for us. The staff is extremely friendsly amd ee had an awesome experience. I look forward to working with them for years to come.

They cant seem to maintain the equipment at our wellness center and are very slow to respond.

I have been using Cryer Pools for 9 years now. Mr. Harrott has the most knowledgeable and friendliest people working for him. Christy, Janie, Courtney, Gabby, Robbie, Carrie, Bethany, and all the others are a top notch, class act group. the pool guys are awesome. They are never to busy to help when I call or walk in and ask a million questions. No matter how small my order is, one of them will carry it out to my car. If I run out of chemicals, I can call them and they will send it out with one of the pool guys when they come this way for a water test. They will walk me through steps to fix something myself, if possible. If it can be fixed cheaper than buying a new one, they will do it, and do it right. They will not sell you something you don t need. they have the best chemicals, (Bioguard) and the equipment around. I love the pool school they do every year. Always something new to learn. I will drive the extra distance to their store instead of going to something closer, though I would love them to open the store back in Deer Park.You cant get any better than this!Thanks Cryer Pools!

Had a very difficult time getting parts ordered for my above ground. Very poor communication from customer service, it took multiple follow up in store visits, phone calls and emails to get the parts ordered. Very poor accountability of CSR working the counter and was given every personal excuse in the book as to why there was a lack in communication. Overall I will only go back as a last case scenario due to the fact the original purchase of the pool was from them.

CRYER POOLS gives great service...Their technicians are knowledgeable and are very helpful. When you call the store with a question or issue, they try to help you resolve it ASAP.
