This is an awning installed over the second floor balcony of my house, to shield the balcony doors from rain water as well as (two much) sunlight. I had contacted several other awning companies prior to selecting Back-Lit Awnings & Canvas, and I am pretty happy with my choice. The installation was carried fast and professionally, and the completed project blends in with the rest of the house so perfectly that it looked like part of the house from the beginning.

Great work at a competitive price. I had two old awnings replaced at my house. The guys were very responsive and painless to deal with. I also had a weird awning on the second floor that was a little hard to get to - they replaced it without any problems. They also did the work pretty quickly which helped me out quite a bit.

Quality work and fastest production time for custom canvas awnings in Houston. You immediately get to speak to someone who can provide you with a realistic estimate and schedule the onsite measurement. Getting someone on the phone who can provide that information alone, can take weeks (and/or persistent, repeated phone calls) to other vendors. I have used them for 4 separate custom awning jobs in the last month. They are my go to vendor for custom awnings from here on out. Highly recommended.

Awnings Houston did an outstanding job when we needed shade for tennis court bleachers. They are very well built and came in below budget. The whole project was done even before the last bid came it. I just laughed when I got the last bid because by then....the job was done!

The team took down a custom canvas they made for me four years ago, cleaned it, patched it and treated it with mildewcide in a professional and timely fashion and reinstalled all while working around the timeline of the painter contractor I had repairing that side of the waterfront house. We recently moved to the Houston area and never could imagine how hot our living room would be in the evening. Coming from up north we never used awnings so I was clueless.
