I usually go to Houston to Audi for an oil change so I was hesitant to go anywhere else. I called Wayne a couple times before scheduling to ensure they could do the oil change because several others said they couldnt. He was nice and helpful which helped me to decide to schedule. Appointment at 1 and they were done within the hour. At the dealership, Its usually hours or the next day. Glad to find a place that is good at what they do and could help me locally. Those guys are awesome and quick with service. Love it!!

I made an appointment for Saturday 10/09/2021 to get an alignment done at least 3 days in advance. I get to the shop and there is a couple of men working on a car in the garage. I see a sign on the door that says we are closed for today due to “personal” reasons. I go to the garage and tell the guy with a Meineke uniform on that I have an appointment for this morning he says NOT TODAY YOU DON’T WE ARE CLOSED. I said EXCUSE ME?? BUT I CALLED LAST WEEK AND SCHEDULED THIS APPOINTMENT. He says DON’T YOU SEE THE SIGN WE ARE CLOSED FOR PERSONAL REASONS. I took several breathes because I am baffled at this moment and say SO YOUR CUSTOMERS DO NOT HAVE PERSONAL THINGS GOING. He then says I AM SORRY….I interrupt him and say….THAT IS ALL I NEEDED WAS AN “I AM SORRY”……An apology for your inconvenience goes a long way with disrupting someone’s schedule for the day. I hate poor customer service!

Explained I needed brakes as peddle was going to floor. I walked out to bay and mech explained I had a brake line loose. When in and given an estimate for $333 for rear brakes, I said I called last night and was told it would be $189. He then slapped his legs and said then it will be $189 but we have to charge you $49 to bleed the brakes. I wish I had examined the pads myself because now I think it didnt need pads at all. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. Never heard of anyone charging to bleed brakes that just part of the process

Dishonest/Shady business practice. They tell you that you have to pay a diagnostic fee that will be deducted from the total repair cost of the vehicle but this is at best shady and at worst an outright lie. I understand this diagnostic charge is intended to keep them from wasting time telling you whats wrong with your vehicle just for you to do the work yourself or get the repairs somewhere else cheaper, but what they dont tell you is that if its a simple fix that doesnt cost much (in this case 13$), they will consider that diagnostic fee part of the cost of the repair and not refund/deduct it.Dont go here unless youre 100% sure the repair you need is going to be costly, otherwise youll be out $130 dollars for knowledge according to them. Knowledge of what, exactly, Im not sure. They simply tested my battery alternator and starter, found no issues, and sent me on my way. Extremely unhappy. I will never return unless this is rectified.They also offer money off to give them a 5 star review so be wary of dishonest reviews that were just chasing the discount.***EDITED TO ADD: The issue wasnt fixed. It has started happening again. So Im out $143 and back at square one.

I am throughly disgusted. I went because the battery icon came on my dash and wouldn’t start. I had my car towed to this meinike in Baytown because that’s where I was. The owner TOLD ME OUT OF HIS OWN MOUTH while diagnosing the car the techno checked the battery AND the oil (which he went on to FURTHER say that there was PLENTY of oil, meaning that they INDEED checked my car for oil) we discovered the issue was my alternator and they replaced it which cost me over $1000. But when I left, my oil was leaking because someone left the pull off my oil open causing it to leak and my car CAUGHT FIRE in the middle of the FREEWAY. I called to let them know what happened and they DENIED that they even checked my oil which would have ALSO been a malpractice because how could you properly diagnose the car if you didn’t check the oil??? So now my car will not start and I have to pay for damages from the fire that I CLEARLY did not cause. I will be taking legal action against them because this is not fair. Needless to say I’d advise that you stay away from this place.

Great customer service. Had a chance to meet with the owner Kenny made me feel right at home. Went in to get 4 wheel alignment on my Toyota Corolla and Kenny was very detailed with me when explaining the process and what all to expect. Alignment was completed in a professional and timely manner. I would definitely recommend this establishment to family / friends / the local community and travelers from out of town in need of mechanical assistance with their vehicles. I look forward to visiting this place of business again and calling it home.

Air conditioner went out in Texas summer heat and meineke was there as always to fix the issue. Both the mechanic and front desk associate was professional and explained what was wrong with the vehicle and even sent me a video of the leak. They kept me updated through the entire process. Also completed the job in a day and a half as this job required them to remove my entire dash to replace the evaporater core. Now my baby is back on the road. Also a plus that they offer free diagnosis because I had paid another company to diagnose my car before I brought it to them. Will be using them for all my car needs. Thank you meineke!

My check engine light came on so I came to these guys to get the issue resolved. They put my car on the diagnostic machine, quoted around $400 to fix it, I paid them, got the work done and left. Not before the end of THE SAME night the light came back on! I called the next day and they said to fix whatever I just paid $400 for I would need to pay again for them to look at and fix and if I refused to pay I needed to EMAIL the owner. Guess what the owner didn’t respond to my email. The guys, owner and management over there are con-artists. So I’m barely driving around Baytown looking for an honest mechanic to fix my car but short $400. I still can’t believe I paid to get my car fixed, same issue happened within the same day, I called next day and they straight faced told me I needed to pay them $400 all over again to fix something they didn’t fix and if I had a problem “EMAIL” the owner. No number to call, what a scamming rip-off. STAY AWAY!!

Waiting area could use a lil TLC but the restroom was very clean. Amazing, and fast service! Professional and friendly staff! Located in the older part of town within walking distance to a few restaurants and within 3 miles to other big name stores and shopping centers. Truly a diamond in the rough. Quoted 3 hr time frame but I received a call at 1.5 hrs stating my vehicle was ready. I will definitely return for future service(s) on my vehicle.

These guys are amazing! On a trip out to California from Detroit my car decided it needed some attention. Not only did they do everything in their power to get me back on the road, they did it in a day. The work they did got me the rest of the way with out so much as a hiccup. The staff there is friendly, kind, honest, fair, and attentive. They kept me informed through the whole process.I am always nervous about taking my car to a mechanic I havent used before. Especially being a woman and travelling alone. But these guys are the best.I highly recommend Kenny and his shop for anyone. Thank you so much.

Poorly manage, will take your car parts and place used ones and tell you they are new ..I would not recommend this place. Spoke with corporate and manager .. manager said he was closing the matter with nothing resolved or effort he had lack of knowledge and did not want to research anything. Took my Honda pilot in because of the check engine light. They said the catalyctic converter needed to be replaced and the 4 oxygen sensors. Estimated at $2000... I said ok lets do it. The next day the check engine light came back on took it back and they said they were getting the same code and to take it to the dealer. So I take it to the dealer and they told me that my pilot needs OEM converter and sensors because of how the computer reads it and they put aftermarket parts. so I had to pay another 2000 just so they can replace what meineke did and put the right parts on there. They were kind enough to give me the after market parts and see if I could return them. So I took em back and guess what.. NO REFUNDS even though I I have the receipt and the parts are less than 2 weeks old. And why not? Because you dont stand behind your work? Because you dont value the customer? They basically stole 2000 from me and Ill be getting with my lawyer. Stay away!

Dont come here they are far more interested in charging you as much as humanly possible than trying to work on your car I came in with a 45 dollar groupon that covered an oil change up to 5 quarts when i got there i was told that i had to pay for 1 extra quart because mine took 6 which is fine that was in the fine print then i she told me i had to pay for a cartridge filter and an 8 dollar fee just cause totaling to 52 dollars on top of the 45 dollar voucher that was suppose to cover a full oil change so they tried to charge me 52 dollars for one extra quart of oil and a filter that goes for no more than 17 18 bucks at any auto parts store she told me the most expensive part was the filter which i had one that only cost me 8.99 i asked if i could just give them that one they said no they had to use theirs which doesnt make any sense super shady business wouldnt recomend ever coming here its just a scam to get as much money out of you as possible

I set my appointment at 10 a.m. 11/27/20. I spoke to Wayne upon arrival at Meineke who was swamped to say the least, but he still took time to answer my question. I explained to him to just give me a call about my brakes and my wife would be picking up. Approximately 45 minutes of my departure Wayne called and informed me my front brakes were in good shape, which is rare from my experience with mechanics. He further explained i needed back brakes and rotors, which was completed before 1:30 pm under his swamped conditions. I appreciated the honesty and my truck not being held hostage for an entire day. You can bet your bottom dollar, Wayne will have my future business and referrals!!

Sales lady has no mask and coughing all over the place. Store is filthy/ stinks and with COVID-19 why would you have a open cake sitting out. Customer service is terrible. I know it’s a auto shop but at 10am in the morning the store should be presentable.

Great courteous service. I made an appointment online to have my brakes replaced. The work was completed within two hours, which included a free assessment of the issue, we as the dealership was charging for the assessment. The technician explained what was being done and provided a timeframe for completion. Very pleased with the work and customer service provided.

There was way too many added fees for a simple oil change! $15 for one extra quart of oil, $13 for a cartridge oil filter that I could have gotten from any parts store for $7, and $8 for waste fees! In all, I spent $90 for the same oil change that my Dodge dealership only charges me $55 for! I will never return here, it’s a rip off compared to anywhere else!

Ive had my truck for over 8 months everything under the hood practically brand new. I gave the truck to my husband because we gotten another vehicle for our family. The truck started having a major oil leak. My husband decides to take the truck to a machanic which i perferred that he didnt. They kepted the truck for a day to fix the reel main seal. Charged $1200 and something dollars. Get the truck back and all of a sudden the truck starts to cut off now. It cit off on me and my son in the middle of Garth Rd traffic. This has never happened before. I tell my husband he needs to call the machanics back and ask them the problem and they said that the fuel injection or whatever is going out and that it would be another $1000 and something dollars. I know thats a big lie because its never giving us this problem before. They purposely messed with something just to get extra money and then are very nonchalant abt the whole situation. Im gathering up info now because I know its a way to take them to court. Its dangerous for the car to just majically start cutting off like that. Im very disappointed in their services

Set up an appointment and when I arrived to the office the clerk greeted me professionally. What I did find alarming is the fact there was no COVID sign on any of the walls, windows, or door. So when I walked in 3/4 of the people in the building didn’t have a mask on, the staff as well so if you have someone with a compromised immune system you might want to go elsewhere. I simply checked in and went outside while I waited. I informed the clerk that I wanted my pads replaced and that’s it, nothing more or less. Well after they did their inspection they brought me a quote that wasn’t for what I asked. My rotors are good and they had no damage to anything. I don’t need to spend money on something I didn’t ask for, but thanks for enlightening me. Took roughly 1.5 hours for the brake replacement and apparently Ugga Ugga is a unit of measurement for their impact wrenches so don’t expect a torque wrench to come out. If you have the pads only replaced you don’t get a warranty apparently rly either. Only if you get the full package, according to the desk clerk. Some of these things are minor but Meineki asked me to review their work via text.

I needed an oil change because I had found a great deal on Groupon for one. I went in and unfortunately they hadn’t received their shipment of oil and offered to make any appointment for my Monday. These guys are top notch! I got into a wreck I thought my was pretty bad. Drivers side wheel was rolled in and it looked all kinds of bad. Mind you this was our only vehicle at the time and we had a baby and work to go to AND we came in around 3pm that day! I was sure that these guys couldn’t fix it in the same day but they sure as hell proved me wrong! These guys stayed after hours to fix our SUV and had it back to us that night! Took about an hour to get service. After parts arrived, things went pretty smooth.$334 dollars for two front brakes was a little pricey. Then handed a broken lug nut cover without replacing it was bad. A new one at the Chevrolet dealership was $108. Wow, over $440 for two front brake pad replacements. Will go elsewhere in the future unless I can get my cost for the lug but cover reimbursed, I didn’t break it, the serviceman did.

I came to this Meineke center because I was having issues with my catalytic converter. They told me that it didnt have to be replaced and that all it needed was to be welded and replace a small motor. I let them do the job for about $600.00. Three days later the engine light came back on. I came to them again(which was a terrible mistake) and they told me my O2 sensor needed to be replaced. So I did this for about $200.00. Literally the next day the engine light came back on again. At this point I ended up moving away from Baytown to Dallas, where I went to a different center that is not Meineke and they told me that they completely screwed up the catalytic converter and that I was better off from the start to replace it. So I ended up having to spend a fortune for the mistake this Meineke did. Not only did they waste my time and money but the customer service is atrocious. My advise is to look for another place there is a reason this place has 3 stars. My car does not have the engine light anymore and its no thanks to this unreliable car care center.

I went in to have my battery replaced, I already had it tested and it had a bad cell. My car is still under warranty and an older man with glasses helped me. I told him my warranty company and that I needed a new battery, he asked what the car was doing, I told him it wont hold a charge overnight. He rolled his eyes and snapped is it stalling!?! I said no its just the battery. He pulled my car in then came and told me I had to go to a dealership to replace the alternator. I asked him how he tested the alternator past a bad battery( not possible in my car). He said Sweetie you wouldnt understand I told him to go to hell and walked out...HE FOLLOWED ME TO MY CAR!!!!! Went to Baytown Hyundai and guess what? The alternator was fine only needed a new battery.

I brought my Toyota tundra in because I thought the muffler was messed up, the place I took it before told me the o2 censor was out and the Cadillac converter was bad on the passenger side, there was Nothing wrong with my truck and these great guys told me the truth! They charged me Nothing for checking everything out and I was back on the road. So nice to find honest hard working people these days. These guys are top notch and truly truly honest people! I took my car in for an oil change after buying a groupon. I ended up paying a lot more than I would have at my regular oil change place, which is listed in the fine print yes- but I’m pretty sure I was up sold on a lot of things. My biggest complaint is that they changed my air filter and said everything looked great on my car after the inspection. Less than 3 hours later, the check engine light in my car came on and onstar emailed me saying there was an issue with my emissions system. The light has never come on in the 3 years I have owned it. I found it suspicious that it happened after I just got my car serviced. I returned to Meineke and they hooked my car up to the computer and said they didn’t know what the code meant and they just cleared it. 2 days later, the light was back on. Took my car to a friend and the same code appeared. He checked the air filter they “replaced” and found that it wasn’t properly installed, that it looked like they just placed it in there. The check engine light has not since then reappeared. I won’t be taking my car back to a place that will just clear out check engine messages and can’t install an air filter properly.UPDATE: they also rotated my tires that day and I found out they didn’t reset the sensors.Both things are simple fixes that should not have to be “fixed” if the job was done properly the first time.

Set an appointment through their website and had absolutely no waiting. I arrived early, and they got right to work on the car. Within 30 minutes they had it completely diagnosed, and even showed in detail what was wrong. My issues (that had been giving me trouble for weeks) were solved in only four short hours. The price was well within my projected range and quite acceptable. Employees were kind, detailed, and courteous throughout the entire process.Edit: Returned a month later for other issues as well, still prompt and amazing service, as well as great followup service.

They forgot to put Anti-freeze reservoir cap back and fully clip my splash shield when I got my oil change and 23 point inspection. Now I have to buy a new reservoir cap and have a scratched up splash shield due to workers missing the simple steps or looking over their never coming here again.
